She was mediocre af in this compared to the amazing acting of the others!
If this succeed it will be further proof that firing Melissa Barrera was a mistake, already coupled with the fact that Jenna Ortega left immediately after and now they have to go back do the negotiating table with Neve Campbell, the salvage that franchise.
It flopped like Melissas acting, now what?

I hope I like it. Didn’t love the trailer but I loved Melissa in Scream 6.
It is an actual house. Glenmaroon house near the Phoenix Park in Dublin Ireland.
That's awesome! But there are some "rooms" that are likely a set.
I think just one or two. 95% of the shooting was done in the house. The house was originally owned by the Guinness family.

It seems like Newton might have been given direction to act the way she did in Quantumania. If they performance is the exception and not the rule, that would point to outside factors imo. I think she should be a huge star.
I don't plan on supporting the next Scream movie due to Melissa's firing. Hopefully this movie does well

But it’s camp, not played straight, so it’s easier to accept than something trying to be sn*ff adjacent
This film was tame as hell especially when compared to Thanksgiving and Saw X. Even the two recent Evil Dead films put it to shame.

My wife and I just got out from watching it here in Australia and we both loved it. Cast was excellent and the female lead was a standout for being smart, brave but flawed and thrown around like a rag doll by a strong vampire. Can’t wait to watch it again on streaming.

Grace, I just got done watching Abigail and your review is spot on!! Melissa is SO strong in this role and the entire cast was very good. No spoilers so if you enjoy horror with a strong twist of humor strongly recommend going to the theater to see this. Once again Melissa is INSANELY good ❤in this and I’m ready for Abigail 2❤😂

Just back from watching Abigail and all I can say is OMG!!! Melissa was amazing. In fact the whole cast was amazing!!! Go watch this movie!! I really hope there’s a sequel 🧛♀️🧛♀️

I don't usually care for horror movies but honestly they have been some really great ones lately, such as the XXX/Pearl films. I'm looking forward to seeing this film, it had me cracking up when I first saw the trailer lol. I also want to see Maxxxine

I really enjoyed this movie just as good as Ready and Not and yeah there’s some similarities but different at the same time. Definitely some surprises and the actress who plays Abigail is sooo good, I recommend!

I liked Ready or Not and would have loved a sequel (even though I dont know how they would do that), but this seems to be the next best thing.

Saw it yesterday and enjoy the movie very much.
Speaking of M3GAN, Chucky was talking smack about her, while showing the "dance" footage from the movie, on a tv 😂. As well as other killer dolls, like "The Boy". Brad Dourif pronounced it as "Ma-Three-gan" 😂😂
Dan Stevens was great in the underrated Legion(TV show). Ironically, Kevin Durand was in another project called Legion(movie).
Going to see this tomorrow afternoon. Once I saw the trailer I was hooked.
Looking forward to seeing it, wish they had been able to keep the vampire element a surprise!

Loved it... This was palatable violence and gore but also had some comical moments with heartfelt drama. Really Good Vamp flick, Gotta watch.
Hey, that was a fun review. I think it looks like a pretty fun Vampire movie. The gore doesn’t really bother me, since the movie seems pretty campy according to trailers. I didn’t know it was about Dracula’s daughter!

Have you watched Boy Kills World yet? My friends and I watched it yesterday and it was SOOOO good. We heard NOTHING about it but it had us laughing the whole time and the fight scenes were some of the best i've ever seen.

Interesting that it's more gory than I expected... from the trailers it looks like one of those exorcism movies (Exorcism of Emily Rose, The Conjuring, etc) 🤔
the scream cast were definitely there for melissa the most, on top of radio silence. they all (skeet ulrich, matthew lillard, liana liberato, etc.) took photos with melissa at a fan convention a couple weeks back, and have showed their support for her

I saw it last night and it's a pretty good flick. I don't think it needs to be seen at the theater, but it's definitely worth the watch.

I went see it last night at amc century city 15 n Kevin Durand was in our 7pm prime showing very nice guy. Film was good enjoyable
I went to see to see the movie not knowing a single thing. Not even the main plot, so I was pleasantly surprised!
I loved this Abigail movie!!! It was very entertaining
I watched it last night in 2DX and had a great, fun experience.
IIt wasn't that predictable for the most part (which was really nice for a change); the characters were very likable, and I was even rooting for them!
The 2DX experience was awesome and made the whole experience even better.
I really enjoyed the hell out of this movie and I think not seeing a single trailer helped. But even after watching it, I’m excited to rewatch it! Everybody crushed their roles!
Abigail was so much fun.
It was a glorious, bloody, gruesome, hilarious gorefest. And yup... There were a couple of twists and surprises.
Abigail is easily one of the most entertaining vampire movies that I've seen in years.
