Not just gen z but everybody need to ask questions: Why is this being filmen and who's filming it. So many stupid stunts are people pretending to lose their smart phone in the ocean (they just bought a new phone so they chucked their old one into the ocean for likes, and nobody asks why someone was even filming it in the first place).
Many years ago I saw a video on youtube, it was a man running towards a giant sea turtle that was buried/flipped over in the sand, my question was "why is he filming while running". Surely he couldn't determine whether or not it was film-worthy from 100 meters away, it was a sea turtle, they kinda blend in with the sand.
These people will adapt, they'll make it more realistic unless the whole thing is banned on youtube. The problem is they lack empathy for animals, just look at the wet markets in Asia where you can buy live animals. We're talking entire countries where they look at animals as any other product.
Most countries don't eat dogs and cats, there are a few in Asia that does.
The only rescue videos that should be allowed are videos made by animal rescue shelters, and to make it slightly more foolproof "only registered shelters located in the west".

But first, a word from our sponsor..... thats why they do it
a lot of those channels don't have sponsors, fake gurus in particular where you are expected to be the direct "sponsor". But yeah, sponsors aren't paying for channels with 0 views and you need to get those somehow. So they chose to do it by exploiting the lowest common denominator. Internet being available to everyone once an access to it got simplified enough did show how dumb humanity really is.

I will never understand the appeal of parasocial relationships. There are definitely CZcams channels that I enjoy watching because they make interesting content, but I don’t care about them personally. I don’t believe I know them, or that they care about me.
People who have parasocial relationships with “influencers”, OnlyFans girls, celebrities, or anyone else are just delusional. Those people don’t care about their fans, they are just dollar signs to them. How anyone can care about these people is beyond me, and the loneliness epidemic isn’t the cause because I’d rather be lonely than care about the personal life of anyone I don’t actually know. I mean, if you actually care about what one of the Kardashians, Logan Paul, or any other online “celebrity” is doing with their life, you need serious mental help.
I feel like I have a bit of a parasocial relationship to Simon Whistler. Not that I think he knows or would necessarily care if he did, but I enjoy him telling stories about buying a used stroller or dealing with the construction on his summer home, or talking about wife and his kids and life in Prague. I would happily listen to just about any dad of small kids gush about his kids, but CZcams is the easiest way I have to do so.

this video was amazing!! great job with the editing, and the flow of the video, i can see a lot of effort was put inot this, and i watched the whole thing, great job!!!
I worked on a dairy farm where an animal rights activist group hired a girl to work on our farm for six months to accumulate five minutes of out of context animal abuse. They then uploaded a youtube video which prominently featured a DONATE NOW button for their group. Meanwhile, our farm almost went out of business and many people lost their jobs because Nestle corporate came down on our milk company to come down on our farm to fire everyone seen in the video. No abuse was ever shown, only veterinary procedures out of context, with sad music.
We later found the girl was a professional spy who made something like $30/hr to spy on farms to get footage, plus was paid a wage as an employee.
Anyways, that's how I lost the best job I ever had, was depressed and contemplating my end, and had to change careers. Oh and my boss ended up selling his family business from the fallout a year or two later.
I know farmers who name their cows, have favourite cows, make up soap opera dramas about their cows. They love those cows
Animals are hope & innocence in our morally questionable world, it gives me deep pain to see people profit from their demise & abuse. They did nothing wrong.
One thing I always keep in mind is the fact that no sane person’s first act when seeing a distressed animal is to take out their phone. I always found this pattern unnerving like “how can one person have consecutive uploads of finding distressed animals and here I am seeing most animals perfectly healthy and with an owner?”

CZcams is a huge plattform with no morals. Do you remember a couple years ago when people spoke out about hollyweird and child SA and other so called "conspiracy theory" channels? People even did such videos not caring about monetization.
These videos were very good and taught people things only the elite had known before. Well after a couple years of these videos being around, they scrubbed them all from the platform in a couple of days.
It made me so sad.
I can't find anything interesting and deep nowadays.

Okay I love your videos, they are very informative and real in terms of the state of things these days. Here’s a suggestion tho: pls put a positive spin somewhere in there or in the end 😭 lmao it’s just so dark. And yes that’s the reality going on with all the online world but some inspiration/motivation/advice or positive outlook somewhere in there could make these videos playable one after the other. I need to take breaks from these vids cuz they’re so heavy

Kids need to be taught critical thinking in school to deal with our new reality of online fake nonsense. It's really not hard to discern the fake from the real with just a modicum of skepticism and scrutiny.

Too true. I learned all kinds of math formulas and geometry bullshit, how to calculate the volume of a cylinder and all that bullshit. No one ever taught me anything useful, like how to pay bills, how to set up a checking account, how to get a job. Oh but I know the formula for slope so good fucking job

What really gives them away many of the influencers sound so bored as if their tired of hearing their own voice.
The thing is before you get to see the video they've seen it hundreds of times during filming and editing, once it's uploaded you're done with the video. Goes for other artists aswell. You get tired of looking hearing etc your work because you've been exposed to it so intensly. Also who enjoys hearing their own voice in the first place?
