@@naki051 probably. If it can run on something like a pregnancy tester, it can run on anything (humanity has made strides in _Anything Can Run Doom_ technology)

Just one criticism about the mod; it was quite hard to tell enemies apart because they're all Dan with the same colours and same sounds
It'd be nice if I could tell which type of enemy it is that I'm fighting (even if it's just a meme mod that puts Dan in the game lol)

Iunno, colour tinting and/or pitch shifting would be nice. Like for example I get that the Minecraft Dans are meant to be Pinkies, but it doesn't really register until I recognise it as such, rather than the instant "man-sized pink thing, Pinky, got it"
It's kind of funny in hindsight. If this was made in the early flash days, the reason you would add in someone in place of the enemies was because you hated them and wanted to mow them down over and over. Nowadays, stuff like this is very flattering.
Someone needs to make a happy wheels fall or high jump pogo level that has RTGames as the ultimate chad SSS+ difficulty level and JB as the shite tier baby level

I think it's now more recognized how even something simple like a graphic swap takes effort. I'm the same way drawing fanart is flattering, putting someone in a game is recognized for the work it is.
Somewhere out there is a universe where you lift a rock in the garden, and instead of bugs under it, it's just loads of tiny Dans.

This is actually where RT lives when his Twitch channel goes offline. He is the ruler of the many many clones of himself in a liminal space that can be run anything from a calculator to a banana.
That's why he can access Twitch to stream in the first place. He can run doom on a StreamDeck.

Its such an interesting thing to cover that the community has mastered over time every single aspect of the game to modify it depending on what they want to modify
People even modded an entire Sonic game into Doom.
And then modded both a Racing game and a Persona game into the Sonic game.
Need we a reminder that someone ran Doom through a pregnancy test machine? Somehow, that happened. You can put anything into Doom, and make Doom from anything.

It's because doom is open source. So the entirety of the game is open for people to study and recreate till their hearts content.
I like the thought that every enemy in this game is a Dan in another universe who’s simultaneously playing this mod. It’s just a Dan Battle Royale.
Part of the reason that the rocket launcher damaged you at 13:34 is that Doom, in it's original form, did not support jumping or looking up and down. Modern source ports add those in, but they still process things the way that the original did. Your rocket probably flew straight into a wall.
the rocket did actually fly downwards, but its hitbox is very large and it's not angled down so the sheer girth of the rocket's hitbox hit the lip of the floor
Also, by default explosions have an infinite height. They're more like cylinders.

@@sigmazeta2044 There is actually ONE place in the game where "rocket jumping" is possible and useful. Instead of trying to propel yourself upwards in a game that never had the concept of jumping, you propel yourself backwards at high speed to cross a gap you otherwise couldn't.

Man, that part of RTDoom when you got the Big CZcams Gun 9000 was one of my favourite childhood memories
So we had the RT Game with a multiple choice selection, NOW we have an RTGame inspired first person shooter, "ass kicker"
Doom can be played on anything with anyone.
This is the version of Doom that Margaret Thatcher would play when she wanted to relive her memories of oppressing the Irish.
It's all "I'm gonna put on my a**-kicking boots", but everyone’s sleeping on RT Walter's "How can you be so naive" death cry? That's such a menacing statement to go out on.
Also from now on, everytime I shoot something in an FPS, I will always hear Dan's yelps of pain.

I like to think that this whole game is about 1 Dan, which becomes sentient and goes on a crusade to defeat the evil that controls other Dans. Whenever the original Dan dies, the virus goes onto the closest Dan to continue original Dan's work.
I have never seen a community get more mileage out of CZcamsrs' green screen clips than RT's and I don't think there could've been a better community to do it to this extent.

I used to watch MY dad play Doom 3 when I was little. Right before bedtime. I am sure it fueled some nightmares but I loved the jump scares
Can’t wait for your *Metal Gear Rising: Revengence* video! I watched the vod today just because it is so interning to see people play the game blind! That game is an acid trip and a half, and there is no doubt in my mind you’ll love every moment of it (other than gamer rage at the final few bosses, the game play gets really difficult at the end of the game.)
