How would this work for 2008 750i yesterday it got stuck now it says change menu:push disable display:press the ac controls show at the bottom it boots to menu then the screen goes blank with those options on the right side of the screen my idrive controller has no resistance when i twist and when i click menu the screen doesn't respond nor when i press down on the controller idk what happened is there a way to reset this please let me know. 2008 bmw 750i e65
It work for me. I changed to android device and my i drive knob stop working. I done that and working again. Thank you.

Thank you for the tip, I have a 2010 550i CIC system the control works scrolling but not selecting/ pressing down. I have replaced this one time before, it was working after I did. Now it happened again and I rebooted it nothing changed. Any advice ?

My idrive is a ccc. It has stoped showing
My parking sensors . The bong works intermittently but no picture anymore . Any ideas. I've tried the 3button trick . Or do you know what fuse can I check.
Does the screen show the normal Idrive screen ? If not may be the CID
My CCC system shows the menu with the arrows but not displaying any words close to the arrows, like climate, entertainment...
I did hard reset the words appear but they disappear after awhile. I think the problem it is the resolution... because if I search through menu it is too big and I cannot distinguish anything... Do you have any idea what can I do? I have a 2009 X6 E 71. Thanks

Got a 2014 328i with stuck xdrive showing BMW and nothing else. It has only one slot for DVDs. Please, could you tell me what to do in this case?
I take you mean I Drive as Xdrive means AWD. Yours is an NBT system. . You will need to hold down the volume button for 25 seconds and that should reboot it. Please help. I’ve replaced my 06 330i e90 CCC unit with one from a 08 335i e90. Everything works I’ve managed to code with NCS expert all buttons on unit work and steering wheel radio idrive functions work as well. BUT my iDrive controller doesn’t work at all. It has no resistance to it so you can easily spin it etc. What do you think the issue is and how do I resolve it? I just ordered a used one off eBay just in case. Thank you.
Hi, have you tried resetting the IDrive as per the video to see of it makes a difference?

I have a 330i and I either have a blank screen that flashes once in a while, or just the BMW logo stuck, and maybe one out of every 20 or so times it just works normally. It's the middle of the night right now, but I'm going to try this tomorrow. I have a CCC system like the one in the video with the cd and dvd slots. I hope this works, I drive a lot for work and having no music is annoying.

@@DocMackGarage No luck, it didn't change anything. Was stuck on the BMW logo, did the same thing as you did in the video and the logo went away and came back, but stayed stuck. Tried many times and couldn't get anything more than a stuck logo or a blank screen that would flash white once in a while. So frustrating.
@NoobGaming-pl3bp Try pulling the fuse to tye CCC, then plugging it back, otherwise it could be broken solders.

What if the I drive knob is reading that the knob is turning without it turning in your car and you have already replaced the knob
What was the issue to start off with. Did you replace the whole controller or just the plastic ? You might have to code it. Also please consider subscribing to my CZcams Channel for free if you haven't already.
I have a 2010 Bmw 328i xDrive that has a CIC system turning on flashing BMW then turning off afterwards, in a repeated process and I tried the soft reset which worked one time but the problem came back.
It sounds like the actual CIC unit might be faulty . It was more common on the CCC. You could try pulling the fuse for the CIC then reinsert it back after an hour. Otherwise you may need to recode it. Please consider subscribing to my CZcams Channel for free if you haven't already.
My I drive keeps rebooting every minute or so. It is cic 2011 520d. The knob has many buttons near it and only 1 cd slot. What do i do please? :)

It has only the central knob and one menu button, not various buttons

2008 750li e65 i tried this and unplugged the terminals for 30 mins still nothing my ccc doesnt even turn on and my seat controls not working either

I have a problem, my ccc stopped working, then I bought another one, I got the second one without a joystick, so I use this one with a static joystick, I have a problem that whatever I scroll with the joystick switches too quickly, more precisely, I can never choose what I want

Did you change your battery or disconnect it before this happened ?
@@DocMackGarage I recently purchased the car it was like that when I bought it I replaced the battery and registered/coded it to the car

I have this same issue, one cd slot for both dvd and cd, it’s single button ccc I drive on 2008 320i edition m sport touring. The menu button has stopped selecting on press, so it will only scroll 🤷♂️

@@DocMackGarage its CCC i changed the guards responsible for the mechanism also and that didint help but today it fixed itself randomly while driving and started working and now after a cold start it doesnt work just like before
@sim it sounds to me like the ccc system hardware has an issue with the circuit board soldering . Please consider subscribing to my CZcams Channel for free if you haven't already
@@DocMackGarage and what might be the fix for the problem? Because my screen flickers the same way as in your video, is it the same fix or different?
@sim if it is software then same fix, but of it turns out to be hardware I.e the ccc board fault, it will require replacement and coding which could cost around 1500.

My ccc has never worked in my 04 530i I’m actually getting a new car cuz I’m so tired of dealing with it
You could just reball the ccc module pcb board.
This fixes majority of problems.
It's actually easier than most think.

I also have a 04 530i and the screen is stuck on bmw and randomly flickers and shuts off
I tried pressing both ejects and the volume but nothing happens
I recently bought a xtrons display and it works just no audio cuz car doesn’t have a factory aux so I looked it up and I need to enable aux with the stock display but it doesn’t work and really frustrating
Not sure if I have a problem with my oem display but as of now maybe my plans of action are as follows
1: buy and install working oem display
2: enable aux activator
3:install xtrons display
Would be nice to not have to buy another oem display just to rip it right out
Lmk if any suggestions
