Your house was foreclosed, so you moved in with your brother, whom you hadn't seen for 10 years. Everything seems fine at first, but soon enough, you'll find yourself in a traumatic experience.

This may surprise you but this was pretty much a beat for beat retelling of the creapypasta and yes the original "classic" that has a fandom is this badly written.
1- You would not be able to walk normally or not feel anything if you Kidney was removed.
2- A doctor would not immediately have you head straight home after discovering your kidney was removed. They would send you into emergency care and the authorities would be called in.
3- When you wake up and there is a Thing above you, you wouldn't think I better take a photo of this monster (in the story the camera wasn't used to stun Jack) and why would the monster just stand there as you get the camera and prepare to take a photo of it.
4- A doctor would not be the one to report to you about your brother being killed and again where are the Police.
5- You wouldn't be allowed to enter that house, it would be walled off by the police and would be investigating on what happened.
Etc.
Much like other stories like Jeff The Killer, Clockwork, Laughing Jack, Squidwards S...., etc. Eyeless Jack is one of those awfully written creepypasta stories that for some reason got a fanbase.
Even the original author felt ashamed of writing this story.
because we were 9-12 and didn't have goosebumps on hand thats why.
@@Star-DustGhoul think it was more edgy kids/young teens wanted more adult horror and well parents would deny Horror films, but parents where clueless about creepypastas that features stories with blood and gore and some very tasteless subject matters
It was also written by someone very young with severe mental illnesses. As were… most of the creepy pastas. So may kids have died because their friends do scarification to slender man. It’s god awful.
I absolutely Love the lore behind all of them though. 😊

I've been watching you for years Chris. On the channel, not through the window or anything. Anyhow, I've always appreciated your positive attitude when confronted with mediocre or even bad games. You have fun regardless and it's nice to see that. It makes it fun for us as well.

When my sister and I were teenagers my dad would say let's clean the garage which meant we were to clean the garage while he stayed in the house. You made me think about this when you said are you going to help bring the boxes in.
They even had the same incompetent doctor from the original "You somehow lost your left kidney last night. We don't know how though. Sorry, Mitch."

I thought this would be its own story, or at the very least, a heavily altered version of the original. But nope, this is a beat for beat adaptation of the original creepypasta.

I had to remind myself that i have to suspend reality with these games often. They could have made it more realistic and plausible in one part, but its not my game 🤷🏿♀️

man, a lot of games like this really don't need to exist. Bad voice acting, walking around and doing menial tasks while you wait for the story to happen to you. You wondering what was in the locked room was the most interesting part lol

Man why are these all so short 😢 that’s the really sad thing about indie games . They can only do so much and for so long… I just want more. Feels like we haven’t had a game with a lot of substance or story in quite awhile out of all these short games. Funny thing about this one is the craziest parts of the game are legit the creepy pasta. Internet be wildin ya know 😂

ending a bit better in the creepypasta, but not by much. He picks up the kidney next to Edwins corpse (not shown in game) and only looks at it in the car. It is his own kidney and it has bitemarks with a black fluid. And thats it, creepypasta ends there.

If they every .are a game based off either Gas Station Jack, Broadcasts from a Lonely Radio Station I'll be excited. Outside, the SCP foundation and Backrooms the always seem to pick the most poorly written stories to turn into games.

I must be living way, way outside of the loop despite my decades of gameplay. Dunno, maybe I got lost on the interchange and headed toward Boston instead of Chicago but ended up in L.A.

Wow, it's a shame this was so short. It could have used just a little more content. Like maybe just a few more day/night cycles when we catch glimpses of Eyeless Jack and then it leads up to the night when we take the picture. It would have been nice to have some sort of event or moment that enables the character to go on the roof and see some sort of clue or evidence that someone or something was up there. All in all not bad, it just needed a little bit more.
Hell. Even a halfway competent Doc would have been an improvement

This was... bad. Like it was a functionally working (game?), but my gosh that was terrible writing, voice acting, visuals, etc. CJU definitely takes some bullets for us.
This was a terrible indie horror game and you were far too kind. The VA is was the most horrific thing about this game, but the nonsense situations and script genuinely made me laugh and cringe at the same time. The most positive thing I can say about it, is that at least I saw no glitches. I assume this is their first game and people always have the capability to improve, so I wish them luck.
