Unspoken is short indie horror.

Yeh I was like what is he doing ?!?! 😂 I mean we know kids are being abducted… if we aren’t involved … our character isn’t involved… I mean a kid screaming nd crying running towards us would probably be looking for help. Even if he had a knife… he’s been kidnapped and had injuries to him already… he may have just been trying to get away. Not sure why he unloaded on the kid but just let the monster follow along lmao
Every time I see my empty bank account and see how much I have on my credit cards it feels like an inexplicable nightmare.

I would really like to see this expanded upon. The lack of a clear storyline makes the game feel more like an extended demo, which is a shame because the scares, the ambience, the sound effects, and the feeling of vulnerability mixed with not having any idea what's going on made it an enjoyable experience. Just wish that the storyline was clearer

My take kn the story
1. we are Brian
2. Alice mom had a love triangle with Brian and Alice's Dad
3. MC got heartbroke and he executed Alice's Parents, and took Alice for his Carrington Family ritual or sort
4. He killed partner to get rid evidence and ease family plan
5. Family Church was raided, three escape including MC
6. In ending MC felt guilt and start haluccinating or he was eventually hiding with Alice, protecting her after the family remnants or hallucination
CJU setting his goal for the game: "I might be able to find the other missing kids...and _not_ kill them." 😂
Kudos to the dev for making me flinch a couple of times during the game. It really did feel, for a while at least, like a stroll through a very troubled person's nightmare. Normally, I'm all for a coherent story but, in this case, I wish there'd been no story at all rather than jumbled bits and pieces of a story. I think this game could have stood alone as a tense and creepy existential experience.
It is flawed in a few areas, I agree with Chris, but I was afraid to see just what was around every corner!

The dev seems to understand how to build tension and paranoia, which is a great start tbh. Story was meh and unfinished but they got some things right where so many games get it wrong.
Not sure what I would do every night when I finally get to chill after stressful day and watch your channel Chris. So thank you for always giving me that time to watch something good. Unlike the deal on tv.
The atmosphere & jump scares are really good.
It seems that indy games with incomplete or unsatisfying endings are the norm. They are as common as missing fuse puzzles.

I feel like a game this short would have benefited from a much more simple story, or just no story at all. The setpieces and scares were enough to give the experience a surreal nightmarish quality. Not a bad game at all, but it's narrative could have been tweaked.

This was great... It felt like the game should have had multiple endings or something, but I still enjoyed the playthrough and commentary. Thanks for the entertainment Chris ❤

Defiantly, this game is very flawed mostly in story, but there is really something here. Always I have to appreciate seeing horror games that try to feature some gameplay into them rather then just being a Walking Simulator with some Jumpscares in it.

Lol "Daniel Bryan, not the wrestler" I was thinking that when I seen it. Not as many people watch wrestling anymore like me so I didn't think someone would pick up on that. This was a different type of game but I did enjoy watching you play it
I find it funny when games have gun mechanics wrong... like when you ammo checked the rounds move up! They dont stay that far down.. lol like wtf!? An theres no such thing like that magazine, rounds down that far towards the bottom of the mag means that mag is busted or theres no follower or spring pushing the rounds up into the chamber. I know its just an Indie game but please get gun mechanics right! Shit bugs the hell outta me.

I find myself in an inexplicable nightmare every day.
My take on this is that you are the partner that was murdered by Brian- which explains why you're being helped by the little ghost girl which is likely Alice, and why the monster is watching you, which shape shifted from the man you see and decapitated whomever. If he killed his partner, it would make sense because you were investigating this crime that was about the family cult (ie. He and his family).

Good try for a first game with all the scares and some of the environment. I didn't saw a PT coming in the end, that was kinda typical.
i think the police lutenite spelling, was framed or was possible in the chruch ie mind controlled although they could of been all eaten by the creature too hard to say.

Unpopular opinion but I just didn’t get scared or on edge at all.. kinda felt like ideas from other games all rolled into one story which made it a bit jumbled. However, knowing it was a single dev doing all this alone… then it’s better than I thought… if that makes sense lol
