The fact they didn't even try to be subtle with taking lines from Scream word for word is just plain insulting.
And the closet scene from Halloween. The murderer in plain view under the tree is probably also an oblique reference to Halloween.

This looks like it was made by a 16-year-old who watched Scream for the first time recently and thought "For my first game, I'm going to completely rip-off that old horror movie that nobody has ever seen, probably". This was indeed terrible : atrocious writing, and nothing happens except in the last five minutes. The only "fun" thing about this "game" was the broken English.
