The information on the movie is 80% correct. Meng ran away from jackson because she learnt that he trick her thinking that he has no parents. But at the scene of the explosion, the sisters of jackson brought up their parent and how they weren't dead. Thats why she was angry and left

as a school comedy (and compared to other Taiwanese coming of age films) it is not horrible, I thought the actors did a pretty good job portraying their characters too, but the movie just decides to abandon all logic and felt real messy / awkward. I mean how the hell did the guy not die after being blown up into space...
it's an unrealistic comedy and is not meant to be taken seriously at all dude lmao. one of his sisters literally shoots arrows at him during school and his other sister levitated balls.
It's a comedic film you should suspend your disbelief when watching those

The sister's really love him. I don't have older siblings, only younger ones, hence there is really no one but my parents stopping me from having a girlfriend. Though I don't want to have early on, I have found my soulmate already. Somehow, I found someone who loves me for who I am and worried about me all the time, and for me it is just the same story. Maybe in the future, I would have on. Who knows? I don't have overprotective siblings, but I have supportive friends. Soon, when my parents know in the nearer future when I am ready to tell them, maybe they would also be supportive. Idk why I told you all this whole story. But I got the motivation to write this because of the video.
