Spoiler: The main characters Lu han and Guan xiaotong actually developed feelings for each other in real life through this C-drama in 2017 ( I think that's when it was released?) which lead to them to start dating. Later on they revealed their relationship through Weibo (an online platform that is hugely popular mostly in China and South-Eastern countries) and in fact according to netizens just got their offical wedding license on Feb 22 this year! Best wishes to the couple and hope they stay with each other for a long time💕

As a guy this reminds me of my college days. My school was formerly an all girls college. My batch was the 3rd batch after the shool open it's doors for boys. There were only 20 of us guys among the 150 students in our batch for our course. And in one of the class I signed up to I was the only guy of the 30 students. The problem with the school for me other than almost all the buildings are colored pink, was there were only few male toilets and some buildings don't even have one so I sometimes ran to the other building.

I'm sure the story got somewhat based or inspired on the Korean webcomic "Girls of the wilds", where a boy taking care of his two younger siblings since his mother abandoned them, went unknowingly to an all-girls school, which is famous for its martial arts competitions. There are a lot of similarities.
The show is base of a comic called Girl of the wild. It's actually a really good read. 100% would recommended it

This was the first Chinese drama that I finished. He only really summed up the first 10 episodes or so and didn't introduce my favorite character, but this was still done really well for a 12-minute summary! Luhan is amazing! I didn't get to know him until after he left EXO, but I'm glad he's doing well for himself away from SM.

Reading through the comments, I feel alive knowing that Girls of the Wild is so popular! It was the first manhwa that I picked up, and I loved it! The re-cap leaves a lot out, and some things were definitely changed, over all the drama looks good! Would have to check if they continued, cause I would be interested in how well they captured Ming Tian's transformation as well as all the drama in the series!
Never knew the show existed but had finished the manwha years ago. So you can imagine the excitement on my face when making the connection the second I saw the main girl’s fighter name was Queen.

A boy in an all girl school is a paradise but also a death sentence. A all girl school holds up to 80 female students at a time, of course the main boy is the main attraction. Believe me, these girls are going to be at war with each other for him. I've seen it too many times in anime.
Anime wise but in real life, it’s unspoken knowledge that no one gets out of an all girls school without at least having a fling with another student there. I can’t tell you the amount of times I’ve seen two legs in a bathroom stall.
also usually the teachers and possibly the principal in an all girls school were biased towards girls like when they asked for a leave absence for a day its an immediate sign than when a straight boy did it then they would need a formal letter and approval of parents with their letter confirming your formal letter or something like that or else they could get the boy jailed or something BS like that. How did I know? Well that was what my GF told me when she attended to an all girls school. They do bare their fangs on girls who break the rules tho but sharper on boys thats for sure.

I want a part two. This feels like it needs more parts. I saw a comment saying that it was adapted from a Webtoon, and that explains it.
People in the comments should actually watch this whole drama before commenting what they think happened in it, it literally feels like spreading misinformation.
This drama is very complex and has a nice storyline and the female lead is very strong. It's not your typical stereotypical story. It's actually very inspirational realistically. I have so many dialogues written in my dairy from this drama, and i still follow all the things i leart from it.

You totally need to start recapping asian dramas. Cutting down 16 episodes of plot to 15 mins of watch time would be awesome. A lot of times before i decide to watch the full thing i want to have a general idea of whats happening and a recap would be perfect

ive been in this kind of situation before,
at the beginning it was depressingly frustrating, felt really alone, its not entirely like in the stereotypical anime, some of it yes, if you are seeking romance and lust, this might be heaven for you, but to me during that whole ordeal, the feeling was torture most of the time
then, duty and priority calls for me to just focus on the main reason why I'm there, sure it helps, but the hollowness stil follows,
the attention and reliance on the shoulder were overwhelming,
I was so relieved when the years finally end, felt like a free bird leaving its cage,
if I have to turn back time, I mightve just transfer to another place with at the very least another single male friend to share my concerns throughout it all

i have to say as a Chinese person, and drama lover, and have watched this show multiple times before, the overall is nice, but some elements were not translated correctly, again i'm just speaking of facts and knowledge, not trying to be mean , but next time i think if you did more translation it would be better.

Why would I know? I've done research dressed as this Female type and to tell you it was frightening was a understament because when no male type are a around they chant in a black magic incantation for one to spawn, simply horrific. I was also terrified when they all looked at me with thirst in their eyes and in a monotone voice said 'we all thirst for you' and one by one they raise their hands in a grapple like way and chased me to no ends. The reason I got away is because my masculine phisyic which is rare, but make no mistake when I got away I was battered, hungry, and terrified. I've had flashbacks since and I still shiver about what happened. Please avoid what I've experienced.

Btw this was based off of the WEBTOON series Girls of the Wild. I was reading the series from when half the episodes were out to the end, and it was great. The series was something I waited until midnight for on the days it is released. Proud to be an OG of the WEBTOON and the Chinese film adaptation.
