- Junita, nicknamed Junior, had plastic surgery because people said her face was fat. Without knowing that she was allergic to chemicals, it ruined her face by causing acne everywhere. It would take a year to fully recover. After the incident, nobody wanted to get close to her and whoever saw her would call her a ghost-face. She couldn't stand it so she begged her mom to let her study at a college in the countryside to avoid the social life of Bangkok, and to have face treatment done by a doctor recommended by the Ugly Duckling forum. And that's where she meets Suea, a handsome, flirty, penniless senior, who is the first person to sincerely befriend her despite her looks

But after it became popular in my school, a lot of my classmates called me "ugly duckling" because I have a lot of acne. After a lot of students called me ugly duckling or even ni*ple face, most of my friends started to bully me, which led to me having anxiety and yes, it is weird to say things like this in comments. But I just want to let it out because I barely have anyone who understands me or comforts me.

This story is wholesome! I like the contrast between Ugly Duckling: Perfect Match and Ugly Duckling: Don't. Those two are the only stories I've seen of this series so far. While this story has a main character formerly beautiful become "ugly", Don't has a main character that thinks she's ugly when she isn't. I like the latter story more since it seems sweeter, but they both look great!

There's another series called ugly duckling forgetful girl (i think) in that one the gitl isn't ugly or anything but she has memory loss of some sort. That makes her very annoying...it's actually my favourite series i guess

Great show!!!! It's cute and fluffy as all get out. You'll enjoy it if you want something not too realistic but just nice and fluffy to get your mind off life. It's an awesome show, really great cast. Love the storyline and the acting was great too. My favorite of the ugly duckling series. Wish the episodes were longer!

I understand how it feels. In fifth grade, my face was probably worst than hers, and I always used to get bullied and laughed at. In the eighth grade, my face surprisingly cleared, and the same boys who were bullying me started to chase after me. However, I knew better than to be flattered.

Also I love that the "ugly" is not the only one with a "flaw". Marilyn on that movie was right, a man being rich is the same for a girl being pretty. Both of them fail in be something society deems necessary for being respected, but they still great people and will be an awesome couple. He also seems hard working and well respected on their school, she may have found a gem too.

Such a wholesome movie lol, this was super charming even shown in a much shorter recap.
Moral of the story: be happy with what you have! If you always concentrate on what you lack and ignore all of your good traits, trying to get more, you will loose everything that you already have. (Of course it doesn't apply when it comes to being perseverant and trying to achive more, just for the things you can't control.)

So the guy becomes controlling, manipulative and starts to s*ut shame her infront of everyone, because other people now think she's beautiful. Still she gets back with him, and it's later revealed that the guy was always rich, and her family friend. He pretended to be poor to find someone who loves him. What a weird show.

This is why I prefer neutral beauty. I don't care what others say or think about how I look or how much weight I have or don't have. You should love yourself for who you are, inside and out. And if there are those who claim to be your friends and claim that they care about you think otherwise, then good riddance to them!
I am literally facing this same kind of mass acne as apart of teenage factor and I get soo stressed bout my acne , my marks and scars to such an extent that the only thing that I havent done is cry . BUT however , I dont want to cry just bcuz of my face problems bcuz I know who I am and I m trying to work hard on my school rather than just worry bout my face but again unfortunately I did get a lot of negative coments starting from my family members to a random stranger . Its not that I m way too worried about my appearance but its just that I m starting to lose hope . Its been a year and half , I tried all the treatments , visited almost 4 different Dermatologist , tried all remedies , just everything but nothing seems to be working out . what hurts me the most is , when people tease bout my acne I try my best not to breakdown and reply wisely but inside I get so heartbroken . Well lets see for now I m just trying to focus on school , I hv my Mom who is the only one in my family who supports me in this case , also my small group of lovely friends and I m happy with this . But I must say this journey has taught me a lot .......Ig this was too long 😅...anyways any one going thro problems in there if , remember
