What do you mean by "fire" them? They aren't employees but elected officials. You cannot fire them. It would be up to their constituents to elect someone else but their constituents like what they are doing so that won't happen. My understanding of the baby formula shortage is that one manufacturer had to do a massive recall because they spent an assload of money on stock buybacks instead of maintaining and upgrading their factories. But capitalism totally works.

I work for a bank and after the insurrection I had people calling us wanting to know if we were going to turn over our ATM transactions that happened around the capitol. I just told him I couldn't answer that question. But I'm guessing they were there and went inside. Not going to mention which bank I work for but they were worried.

As elected officials and lawmakers, the GQP have an obligation to the American people to testify under oath. They should not have NOT be allowed to use the "I don't remember" as an excuse or to take the 5th. They have an obligation to honor subpoenas from Congress just as they would expect from anyone else. It's really irritating for reporters to call these subpoenas unprecedented!!! It was unprecedented for an ex-president to incite a violent attack against his own nation's Capitol! It was unprecedented for members of Congress to participate in planning a "rebellion against the government" which they were elected to serve and took an oath to protect.
It's te for the people to get smart and vote those crooked SOB'S out. They can cry voter fraud but they can never prove it. It's time for the people to get off the fence waiting for someone to lead them. We are as weak as the people we elect. 2022 is the time to get started or forget it!
