DVSA would have failed that attempt. Front tyres have clearly gone onto the white line unfortunately. If that was a kerb, it would have scuffed the wheel pretty obviously.

Actually it'd only be a minor, they would fail it for going over the line, i know dumb logic. How do i know? I did my Cat C test a week or so ago and my only minor was for my tyre coming onto the (yellow for me) line

@@LHawkesDrums agreed, i did mine last week and failed bcoz i clipped the cone, you are allowed on the line but not allowed to go over

But i thought its allowed as long as the tyre doesn't go past the outer of the line?

I failed my class to test last week got a re test 802 I failed on the reverse and a uphill start, on the reverse the exsaminer said I went over the yellow line, whiles I has full obs on my drivers side I did not go over the yellow line but drove on it, which I thought was allowed maybe I should of turned the steering one full turn to the right two 6 inch from the yellow line, on the uphill start I placed it in drive revs on handbrake off and it rolled back a inch, handbrake STARTED AGAIN AND WHYEN I MOVED OFF I COULD NOT GET THE GEAR OUT OF 1ST I DIDNT AND WASENT EXPLAINED THAT THE AUTO GEAR BOX WAS A SEMI BOX AND HAD TOO PRESS D AGAIN TO GET IT INTO NORMAL MODE IM WELL GUTTERED AND CLASS MYSELF AS A CONFIDENT DRIVER THE ARMY PAID FOR MY LESSONS AS IM EX FORCES AND NOW I NEED TO FIND THE RE TEST FEE 289,00 any tips

gary armstrong I'm sorry to hear you failed. You can't touch the line at all with any part of the truck. you need to be as close to the left hand cone at the front as you can. There should be big sticks in the cones so you can see where they are. Line the left hand cone up with the bottom of the left hand mirror and revers a little, then get full lock on and reverse a little more while taking the lock off as you swing the tail round. Stick your head out the drivers window and watch the right hand tyre, remember don't touch the line! Good luck! 🖒

Unfortunately they are very strict the DVSA exsminators and I don't wrealy understand them . Was the problem with me the same when they sai I parked too far from the yellow line

I just failed today, reversing. Hit the C cone. Still unsure as never hit any cones when practicing, on the test I was half way from the start line to the box, rear nowhere near the box when I was asked to stop and the ruddy cone was at the back of the rear axle. The C cone is what I would use as a point to pivot into the box. Saying all that I was instructed to do one and half turns of the steering wheel at the start rather than full lock.

All you can earn picking crap off a belt in a factory is 1150 quid a month take home for 40 hours.
You can easily earn 1700 a month doing hgv.stop meaning.some folks do hgv jobs easily.its the moaning snowflakes that cant handle a bit of pressure that leave.hgv driving pays more than warehouse labouring jobs
