It’s highly edited and moves are exaggerated. At 0:43 the dude got a simple hit in the balls and was down the entire fight. Security guards are not this weak. At 0:46 the guy literally just got the equivalent of a shove to the wall, sure his neck might hurt a bit but even an average joe would instantly get up from this. At 1:24 the dudes who get affected by the smokescreen, instead of standing there like idiots professionals would back away. At the same scene they get a few kicks and are instantly down. Even a kid would get up from those. How the white guy got taken down at 1:30 was fairly possible but the way the black dude got a few hits and instantly got knocked out at 1:34 is so unrealistic. 1:39 is fairly possible but the guy at 1:43 behaves like he has one arm, while she’s twisting your arm HIT HER!!
This whole fight scene is the one and only reason I fell in love with Scarlett Johansson's Natasha Romanoff/Black Widow from the start of the MCU.

This is by far the best Widow has ever looked on screen. I wish they would've kept this hair for the majority of her other movie appearances. Looks and fits her character so much better than most of the other hairstyles she's used.
I agree. In this fight scene though her hair keeps changing into different curls, it's like as if they filmed the start of the fight at the end because they look more relaxed and the end was filmed at the start. I wish they stayed more consistent with it.
She is a spy and goes undercover. She has to change her look.

yea. scarlett also do a lot on this scene. she practically stunts too. i saw it in the interview that the director says its easy to shot this scene without a backing shot of a stunt double because scarlet does this stunts by herself.
You have to honor the fight choreography as well as Scarlet Johansen’s acting and physical skills. This scene is awesome!
I love the fact that happy is so proud and exuberant that he managed to take down one dude and thinks black widow will be impressed just to see the disappointment on his when he realises how much more advanced romanof is.

i love this scene because it actually shows how strong natasha is, she knocks out like 10 men in 2 minutes and how even a bodyguard (happy) takes longer to fight. it shows that she's more than a secretary and more than looks. especially the end when happy's done and it shows the hallway full of knocked out men, and how she's already gone through.
In fairness, some of the guys just get flipped over and then they're like "I guess I'm beat. Better lie on the floor from now on."

Not to mention, making light of her infertility by having Yelena joke about it to weird Red Guardian out, or completely spitting over the "Red in her ledger" by having him be proud of how many people she had killed.
She literally kicked a guy in the leg and he stayed down, while happy is kicking the shit out of someone, talk about plot armour lmao
She pushed someone in another scene and he was out cold. Fight scenes are very unrealistic, but entertaining to watch.

I absolutely love Natasha's fight scenes! In so many spy movies, the punches are weak, the forms are sloppy and lukewarm, and the fighters are not as good as they make them sound like. But with Natasha (and Yelena) every single move is tight and controlled and loaded with strength.

The reason why love Iron Man 2 is because this is one of those friendly PG-13 action movies that can only exist in 2000’s. While the original Iron Man is more & not trying to be like everyone else, this one kind of reminds me of the live action G.I. Joe Movie, it has that same level of quality. 😅 the action scenes are ambitious but they’re delightful.

When I watch the part where they showed the signature of Scarlett Johansson and I remember seeing her as Black Widow where she pepper spray on the Security at the Hammer Industries, in which Justin Hammer (Sam Rockwell) told Romanoff that Ivan Vanko is at Hammer's facility.

Women have less upper body strength than men, so it is more effective if they use their legs.
Black Widow has a style where she uses her smaller size, momentum and legs all the time.
Probably a lot of these fights were choreographed by her stunt double or someone else who really knows what they're doing.
Women also have lower body strength, what is your point? Natasha should’ve died here at least 3 times
