They also discuss if the word 'woke' is an insult or slur.
Piers thinks it's ridiculous that the Scottish Ballet are casting a man in the role of the fairytale princess and questions why the 'woke brigade' can't just leave things alone. Unfortunately for Piers, even Isabel is against him on this one, feel it's perfectly fine to spice up an old story in this way. That is until James suggests that having a male lead is 'really important' to which Isabel suggests she might no longer agree with the idea...

I like James, although I often find his Woke views infuriating. Interestingly, here he gave the 'I'm not an expert' response to Piers' question about whether 'trans-women' should be able to compete in women's sport. It's obvious James dodged the question for the same reason any of us would - because he knew his Woke comrades who are one deviation more authoritarian than he is would attempt to destroy his reputation and have him socially and financially cast into oblivion. I hope Piers pushes James further on this in the future as small steps like this may actually help us defuse our polarised debate and help return us all to al least the same page again.

Lots of kids get bullied and they dont do this sh1t. I was bullied a lot due to people hating a white, skinny,smart, pretty girl and was hasselled by fat kids, brown kids, obnoxious kids and i was told be thoughtful because of their hard lives at home but in reality I should have been told they are a$$holes and youre allowed to defend yourself. @@djones4525 ok. So Id like to hear your definition of masculinity so I could speak to that, but as an example, Ill give a generalization, that a masculine trait is being hyper focused on a solution to a problem lets say.
So thats great, that means men can work on something til it gets solved.
Toxic masculinity would be say if that man ignored everyone elses needs, ignored his own health and mental well being and downplayed other peoples contributions to the solution because he wants to be the person to solve the problem and get the glory.
If its not a feminine trait then its not just being "generally toxic" like you said, its a masculine (opposite of feminine) trait that has become toxic. Thats all it means.

"Cinderfella" could be successfully (and grandly) remade if the lead character gender swap is the only main character change. Mixed step-siblings (sisters/brothers) and a fairy godfather would be acceptable twist and entertaining. The storyline itself must remain true. Any sexuality references to characters denied. Stick to the basics! I'd love to be a writer on this project.
