Today, we'll see a good example, as one of the top real estate agents in Dumaguete is going to show us a modern 2-bedroom private home for just over $500 per month! And she has many more ...

Pea you are still the best stay kind never lived in the filipines and stay beautiful 😍
@@jobisrael8313 i think is part already of the design of the home,, but is a good point of view. I dont know if an alarm sistem will work there or maybe a flood light
Pea I am your master 😌 hehe=lol. You're funny to watch .
She's wrong about the 2 sinks. You put soapy hot water in one with your dishes. Then you wash them and as you do transfer to the other sink to be rinsed.
If we wash vegetables there is no certain side for that, but most people are right handed so they will use the right side.
$500 a month in America can get you a tent and a lantern. (Kerosene not included.)

Not actually, I got a 3 bed one bath ranch style on 3 aces in the country here in Texas for 500 , utilities run bout 100 a month...just gotta look
same in uk i bought a house in Philippines for less than it cost me to rent a fkn bedsit in the uk ...
@christophercooper7210 Everyone is trying to live in the big cities of LA NYC or sandiego... best to go to the Midwest or Deep South for the low. Property tax less than 700 a year
Gosh, I would pay extra to have a real-estate agent as professional as this! She's great!
And easy to talk to 👍
@@TheFilipinaPeaand easy on the eyes! Too bad she already has a “master” 😢 🤪🤦
This was a very entertaining video. Keep up the great work!!
Alma has such a sweet personality.
@GaryAa56 yes, she does! Both are very good people, obviously.
Those jeans 😍
Alma was my real estate agent 2 years ago. She did a great job.
Filipina Pea is our go to Philippines vlogger, and Alma is our go to realtor. She seems like she’s very professional and looking out for foreigners best interests. It also looks like Alma has been working out and is in very good shape.
That's an amazing price!!!
Also, Pea has to have the best hair in the Philippines.
Well thanks! I’ll try to keep it that way 🤣👍
@@TheFilipinaPea Both ladies comport themselves so well. . .if these ladies are representative of a larger swath of Filipinas, I can definitely see the appeal for so many Western men.
I dunno, you can find good apartments in Europe for that price.
One thing you have to give the pea credit for, she is always helpful and informative. Plus, she is killing it here in this video. Beautiful little lady. Much love, Pea. ;)
As long as you’re happy, Andy! ❤️

This is just an ad. I'm surprised you like it. Most of her vids are pretty cool, but I wish she wouldn't do these.
@@rayflaherty3441
This video is an attempt to show prospective visitors how far their money will go here, and what accommodations cost in the area.
Ads make money, however I make nothing extra by doing this type of video - I do it because I think it’s informative 😊
$500 a month for that?! That’s insanely cheap. Beautiful place and a gorgeous area. You look amazing Ms. Pea. And what a wonderful real estate agent too. If I ever move to the Philippines this is who I’d want for a real estate agent.
Even though i dont plan on moving to the Philippines, that was a nice house with the creature comforts for us foreigners... and pea my god that dress really accentuates your figure ❤ ...
Thanks Possum! 😊
Realtors always put a positive spin on real estate. Here in Florida, they got me worrying about climate change when they started listing properties as "potential waterfront homes". Nice place & good tour Alma. Thanx Pea !!
That is scary...
But is actually true… water is rising everywhere. It was already the case for Louisiana in the USA and still will be worse. Same for Venice in Italy and the Netherlands
@@GolderiQ Get back to me in 1000 years, so I can buy some rubber hip waders.
Positive spin on real estate by realtors is known as "Puffing".
Puffing is a term in commercial law which means to convey an overstated belief about some good or service to a prospective buyer with the goal of making a sale of that good or service.
It falls short of outright "Fraud".
Got you worried, if the likes of Barack Obama is buying waterfront property you have zero to worry about, ever melted ice in a glass what happened to the water level even do it with salt water and I bet you’ll be surprised. Biggest hoax in human history, private jets for me not for thee
Beautiful place, makes me almost wish I was looking for a place to stay in that area.
Great tour! And that house really lets in the light!
You both have great energy and not bad on the eyes.
Alma is very knowledgeable and professional
Wow that place is huge and only $500 a month. Too big for me but a place half the the size and just as nice for $250 a month would be amazing.
That can easily be found, yes 👍
Very timely show. I had forgot who the realtor friend was and will be looking at places in the near future.
Thanks Pea! Great video, very helpful.
Alma was the agent that helped me find the place that I am living in.
This is awesome. Thanks for the information. Would be great
Nicely done love the house thanks pea
I am very lucky that Alma, helped me find the wonderful rental I've been in for almost three years now.
Very informative as usual 👍 you do a great job of inspiring curiosity about living in the Philippines. I'm sold😉

Wow beautiful house so roomy nice kitchen nice everything
I’m always happy to see a new video from the beautiful Pea😊great video ❤
Then I’m glad you’re here, Reese - I mean, your Highness! 🤣👍
Wow! Nice to see what Alma looks like, and a tour with her as well. A LOT of expats show her listings, but she isn't along for the show.
Keep up the good work pea, you’re doing a great job 😊
Alma was awesome, great video.
I don't know much about Philippine provincial houses, however I have to say that place looks great and the price seems outstanding to me.
I love this channel, there's always something new and different.

This video was very useful as it provided Information about a rental that is close to exactly what I want if I retire to the PI.
Lucy did a very good job for being a camerawoman in this video, Alma is really professional she definitely sold this home really well. Great job and great video. Salamat for the video!
Yes, because if I was the camera person the I would get easily distracted
Hi Pea: Please do more of these. This is really helpful to know what places are going for. Great video.
Hey Ms Pea another great video. The place looks great i bet it won't be on the market very long. enjoy your day looking forward to your next video.
That house is cool Pea, seems like you were at home there. Oh, the long black dress with the long black hair is very elegant!!!There's so much style in your mannerisms.
Pea:
Awesome property! Great information about Alma's services and real estate knowledge. It would be interesting to find out how a person can get into the real estate business to earn a living a qualified agent. Like what schools have the courses available, what courses the person needs to take, and what qualifications the person needs to have to enter the courses.
I really appreciate Alma's extensive knowledge of the finishes of the house and how similar and dissimilar they are to modern and western style of living. That really adds to the relatability of Alma's presentation of the house and surroundings. That makes it so much easier to know that she is the one you really want to talk to about finding the perfect house to rent or pruchase.
Great Info Ms Pea, beautiful house
Great Tour 😄 👍Alma
If you think about it, the Filipina Pea is smart, funny, sweet, and beautiful. She could sell a cardboard box for $500 a month with her overwhelming charm, so a nice place like that is already booked since she is the tour guide.
Thank you again Pea!
I guess I’ll be stocking up on cardboard boxes then 👍🤣
What a beautiful house.

The last one I did with her was a near-beachfront property 👍
What an awesome house for $530 a month! I would be interested in renting a smaller house or condo but rental prices in the Philippines are incredibly low. Great video, Pea.
Not as low as Thailand.
Good job pea, great questions and resource info...
Thanks Bryan! We tried to cover all the bases 👍❤️
Thanks for always having useful information 🙏🏼 Your hair is stunning ❤️
That’s a big house for only $530 a month. It would be at least $1500 a month depending on the location.
And it’s got nice interior touches 👍😊
Here it would be 3k and no furniture

Hey Pea! Great video! Good to know that they do six month rentals.
That dress is amazing Pea, good choice. 👍
The price was so reasonable, is there English websites for rental? Dang I will have to consider the Philippines seriously now because of you, I'm a meat eater, is beef easily accessible, ground beef, and other parts. Anyhow, fantastic informative video, the agent is clear and professional.
Well thanks! 😊👍
True beef is hard to find and is a premium. The cattle in the Philippines are Brahma cows. There meat sucks. Imported beef can be found but it is always frozen which is not the best. That tells you how gross Brahma meet is. The Brazilians have successfully crossed a Brahma with an Angus. And the meat is fantastic. I plan to import those to the Philippines when I come there. Hopefully this year. If so, I will offer fresh beef to Dumaguete and Cebu
@@puppyupper4565 THANK YOU for your kind information. I'm carnivore diet meat only LOL
@@Flitalidapouet me too except I do eat eggs, cheese, avocados, asparagus and in the summer some blackberries and raspberries. I have to eat beef for most of my meals and I don't like it frozen. HI from Australia girls.
Hello down under! 🇦🇺❤️👍
Nice I see her on Facebook I'll definitely check her out
"Dog" was mentioned more often than "kids". Weird that humans would rent/buy mostly based on our dog's needs. True in the US too.
🤣🤣🤣
Alma is quite charming...what guy could resist her real estate pitch? Great house!
My comment is for those Americans who mentioned living in a rural area in the South or Midwest as counterpoints to this rental in the Philippines. I grew up in a rural small town in the South. In fact I still visit relatives who live there to this day. In my opinion the rental in the Philippines is superior to the isolated and fairly mundane life one has to live when living in a rural American community. In fact a rural American community is more comparable to a province community in the Philippines because both suffer from similar deficiencies such as poor Internet access and poor healthcare options. It is even worse for those who eventually age out of the ability to drive because in a rural American community there is zero public transportation and forget about ordering food. That option does not exist. So, setting aside considerations for family and friends, a regular income retiree would likely get a better cost of living, social life, mobility options and healthcare living in a middle class community in the Philippines. What does that say about financial sustainability in the U. S.🧐?
@PhilCherry3, I’ve wondered the same thing. I’ve lived outside small town rural America and it kinda sucks. Always have to get in the car to do anything.
Thanks Pea, Alma seems like a very good agent to know for that area I will definitely keep her in mind
Great place great price Great video
That's a lot of house , A fabulous house for the price .
A simple one bedroom in san francisco would be $3,000 a month.
Too bad foreigners can't own but at least we can rent a condo .

If you are planning to stay in the Philippines prepare to learn values. Do you rent a condo with security $300 a month or rent a home where you could be easily robbed or worse. Then as you explore be prepared for again a gray area of investors and false market values. Tagaytay is a ghost town don’t fall for it. Investors think SM north area is the next BGC. Anvaya again over priced at $365k for a 1 bedroom condo. So before y’all enter the twilight zone be sure to do your research. There isn’t a national MLS here and often you find random people representing a property for double the actual selling price of an agent. It’s dumb 🤷♂️
Good to see you think of your friends as well as entertaining us thanks
For sure 👍😊
@@TheFilipinaPea Alma is fitting those jeans,
Great video Pea you can do more of these videos 👍 almost forgot congrats on 280 k there as well.

Wow $30.000 pesos for that is an absolute steal. Thanks so much Pea
That aircon take alot of electric power
Even more than you would think, the humidity is almost always going to be 80+ percent, which makes the efficiency even worse. I still don't understand why even luxury places in the Philippines they don't have proper central air. Just a bunch of mini splits and window units.
That being said, if you have foreign (western) income streams or savings, only super high end stuff and imports is going to be expensive to you.
Good evening Pea. Hope you had a good weekend. Looking forward to todays video.
Ron gets another - a bronze👍🥉
Everyone you have on videos is so nice. If I moved to the Philippines I would move there.
Everything is pretty much overpriced. Think you’ll save at Landers or S&R like it’s a Costco? Wrong! In most cases it’s 2x the cost of the USA. Malls pretty much MSRP+ always for anything branded. Example: a Tesla here is like $75,000 for a Model Y vs in the USA it’s 40k after rebate. Gas is almost double and so is the bottled water. Eat healthy? Be prepared to pay 2x -4x for protein or fruits and vegetables in the grocery. Or buy them in a street market that chances are they could be spoiled etc etc. So yeah a lot of smart beautiful girls here. Come stay a few months and find you someone special. Don’t look online as I promise you’ll only get lucky if you know what you’re looking for and you won’t know until after you waste years of looking online. The good ones don’t look online. Come here and you’ll see. 😊
Let me explain the concept of a hot shower. That is what gets people feeling good enough to get up and get out to work. You take a cold bath all you want to do is go back to bed.
Very cool subject. There's a housing crisis everywhere. It's good to see some insight into elsewhere.
