Even if I won a billion dollars in the lottery, I would still put water in my shampoo/conditioner bottle at the end.

Hi Pea! You look great next to the candlelight, so don't worry about it. Excellent cultural information once again. Have a great weekend.

In the US we only refrigerate eggs because they're washed before they get to the store so their natural coating that protects them from germs is diminished.

leaving my flipflops outside the door is always bad news for me. I have big feet. So when someone else goes out and grabs mine, I end up bare foot.

  • @sleazy682

The craziest thing when I am in the Philippines is how many women are excited to go on a date to Jollibee or McDonalds and how much they did not like going to "fancy" restaurants like a burger or pizza place lol.

Your skin looks amazing in that candle light

    1. I know all about watered down hand soap, shampoo, conditioner, Windex. I opted for the pre-emptive surrender. 2. Anyone that leaves shoes out in the garage in the southern USA may find a scorpion in one the next morning. 3. Damn shoes/slippers/flip flops are everywhere, but never out of the way! 4. Lots of Fil-Am parties here. I never eat at them. Food is put out 2 hours early and Filipina always arrive 2 hours late. 5. Babalu is a famous Dezi Arnaz song. 6. Wife and I were coming back from Las Vegas with her sister one afternoon. She had me pull over urgently. Jumped out, dropped trou in mid-stride, and watered the desert with all the doors in the car open. She is cute, but warning is always appreciated!

What I did notice is how good your English skills are. Aside from the slight accent, it’s native speaker level. Very easy to listen to, and the vocabulary is top notch.

You bring back such good memories of my Filipina! We were married for 28 years! She passed away this past year! I miss her so much! I love watching your channel! All the things you discuss today I have experienced and you just learn to ignore it! I try for a few years to change it , but I learned to live with it! Also one subject I might suggest is why do Filipina’s changed the gender of someone when they are talking about them! This always kept me confused over years! Anyway I love your channel! It brings a smile to my face and brings good memories! I look forward to watching your channel every week! Take care and GOD bless you and keep you and your family safe and healthy!!

You'll find frugality, even among Americans. Adding water to the shampoo bottle, adding water to the jar of spaghetti sauce to make sure we get every last bit, refurbishing & repurposing old furniture, these are things we do.

  • @GRIMRPR6942

Those of us in US who lived frugally did some of the things you mentioned like water in the shampoo, conditioner, spaghetti sauce (or any sauce really). We also leave the oven door open after we bake something to let the remaining heat warm the room in the winter. We saved cooking grease in metal coffee cans to re-use for cooking later.
