  • Why Filipinas like foreigners is a topic often discussed, but there are good reasons for a foreign affair! You might think it's all about the money, but foreigners represent much more to Filipinas than a fat bank account. Like any subject, the attraction of Filipinas to foreigners has many layers, so let's look at the real reasons behind this phenomenon ... ‪@TheFilipinaPea‬

As a filipina, I absolutely agree with this! ALL ARE ON POINT👌
I always like about the part where most of the foreign guys tend to be more open about interesting stimulating conversations. Also, they tend to be more responsible and mature about a lot of things.
Indeed, its hard to seek local guys in here that can talk about interesting stuff and delve into it, they are more close minded and conservative about things, at least from my experience and the local guys that had encountered. Hard to be with someine who cant understand you, it's like being stagnant and you stopped growing, enclosed in a shell and locked up. Cant express your thoughts about life and various things n life.
Anyway, this is a very nice video of you Ms. Pea! I've always have to explain these things to every people who were curious of about why some filipinas prefer foreign! Because they would literally always think about the money and the thing down there! And its tiring!haha.Thank you, I can just show this video to them. You elaborated the thoughts perfectly!
Hope to found my guy from the other side sooooon! Hahaha
God bless and continue to grow, learn and share the knowledge! New subscriber here!

your comments, remind me of the last 6 dates i went on before walking away a decade+ ago, i cant deal with people who cannot have stimulating conversations and all 6 of them... so vapid, it didnt matter what i tried it was like they had no interests outside the mercurial.... genuinely after the last one, i was starting to wonder if my brain was broken.... the conversation was so fucking painful.... i felt brain cells dying...
its sad but, dear gods.. trying to talk to somebody who reminds you of the girls in jr.high... decades ago... just dosnt work for me... lets not get started young gals here with massive body counts... talking 14yo's with higher body count then most 45yo men... just... yikes... this country..
just be interesting, personable and honest, that goes a long way with most guys i know as well... i try and find something people can talk about with a passion, when i cant.. it tells me.. their interest are quite narrow... because my interests are eclectic as hell.. tech, mech, anime, movies, tv, science, fantasy, books.... games... camping, fishing,hunting,..i could keep going... psychology... cant leave that out...
the funniest part... my aunts filipina and back over there with my uncle right now in cv19 jail..(just got in and have to camp in a condo for however long the govt decides they need to be kept away from others for others safety.. ) , and i have never given a single shit when she and her friends speak taglag(sp?), never bothered me one bit they would appologize and i would respond in german as often as english... one finely got it "it dosnt bother me, what so ever, if i think you are shit talking me, i will just shit talk you in a lang you dont speak, other then that, have at it.. warning, eventually my brain will start to auto translate and i will know what your are saying given enough exposure..." the fact it happened with galic (scottish native lang) as well as a few other lands when gaming with people from parts of the world where breaking into such things is still not that uncommon among geeks/weirdos/gamers...
anyway, there are an amazing number of men here, who have given up on dating, on women in general, due to how horrible dating here has become.... any filipina who came here would have little trouble having her pick of men..if shes smart she dosnt go for the "alpha chad" types who have nothing but choices, but the dude whos just an average guy, working his grind and wishing things were like old movies rather then this modern dystopia we live in... i know most of my single male friends would jump at the chance to date an actual feminine woman who likes men, rather then a masculine women who has a resentment for men due to her western education/upbringing... myself included...though... im disabled so far from a prime catch.. the one thing i do have, is a very strong supportive family, who.. are not at all hard to please.. the only ex-gf's i have had they didnt like.. it was 110% justified.. hell at the time i knew it for one of them.. but.. meh.. we live, we learn... we all make stupid choices... and, no harm came from it... other then having to block her number 6 times as she got new numbers and kept trying to get back with me..after cheating on me with my cousin... who had herpes... and still does... as does she now... heh...
anyway, dont cheat and you will be fucking light years ahead of most of the gals i have dated from the west... been cheated on so much i just came to expect it eventually...

My co-worker is 55 yrs old, married a 25 yr old pinay. Whether she wanted financial security or become a citizen of the USA, I do not know. But I do know is that she honored her marriage, took care of him. when he passed away, (god rest his soul) she didn’t re marry and she said she doesn’t want to loose her last name, her husbands name. She is still close with her in laws.

I married a Filipina in 2014,i am 20 years older than than her.currently i am 53 and she is 33. After a few years of school she became a nurse and lucky for me she did. A couple of years after we were married i started to have health problems. It progressed to the point that I ended up on dialysis. Soon after a couple of years later i had a heart attack. Through all this she has stood by my side and taken care of me and she works 2 jobs as a nurse.when my mom had her stroke she also took care of her till the day she died. Filipinas are very loving and loyal to there husband and i am grateful for her every day.

When I first moved here in the Philippines, I hired a neighbor woman to do my laundry 2 times a week, I also hired nother neighbor woman to cook and clean the house. I could have done it all myself but thought by hirings someone who needed to support there family that it was the right thing to do. When I went back to America and mentioned what I did, some of the woman there have me hell for hirings them calling me a sexest. That made me so mad at them saying that, I deleted them from my life. Most Americans are so narrow minded now days. The ladies I hired had family's and a hard time supporting them by hirings them made there lives much better. So was I wrong?

I'm currently 31, born and raised in the US. In high school I played recreational volleyball. There was a Filipino family that was heavily involved in the program - the kids were on teams and the parents were coaches as well. They would always invite other players (including myself) to their house and have amazing parties with activities like karaoke, barbecue, volleyball, pool, etc. I went over so much that I basically became a part of their family. I started getting invited to other family events with them. My school picture was even on their fridge.
My family was very dysfunctional and broken so these people really felt like an escape for me. I couldn't believe how friendly and loving these people were to a random kid they barely knew. That was the moment I realized Filipino people are just..different. Their warmth is so natural but gets amplified when surrounded by the coldness of westerners. I think about that family so much more now in this rising loneliness epidemic that's plaguing our society.

You video pretty much sums up why a westerner would be more content with a Filipina. I recently visited the Philippines with a friend and do not consider myself rich and feel I am very average. However during my trip I noticed pretty much everything you said and was so amazed at the different attention I received. I was very depressed when I returned to the states only to find that I was once again I was back to average and rarely got noticed by the western women. Yes my money went farther in the Philippines but that was just the lifestyle the best part of visiting the country was the treatment from the women. I never gave it much thought as to why and just accepted it. Now that I have seen your video, it gives me a much better perspective of why. Thank you for sharing and although most Filipinas are like this deep down inside, the perspective from the western women usually tend to just say it is gold digging or that they are desperate. When on the contrary the gold diggers turned out to be the westerners who have looked at my income rather than what is behind my eyes and smile. Thank you for this video. It confirms what I have experienced but now with a why. ;-)

Another great video from Pea! She is so warm and open.
After spending the last 5 years traveling to Asia, spending significant time in Philippines and Thailand, I will say that she has expressed much of what I have experienced. Nearly all the women in these two countries (my limited experience, I am sure similar in other similar countries) are interested in western men. We are exotic, different, different culture, and present "exotic" physical, mental and emotional features. The mere fact that we are in THEIR country, means that we have some sort of significant means, so there is a "self-selection" process, where ALL the western men they meet are 'well off', relatively.
So it is only NATURAL for men who have a "high demand" to be able to select the higher quality/value women. This is NOT a position that most western men do not experience. This means that we get access to women vastly more beautiful than what is possible "back home". Their culture also means that they will take much better care of us, than western women ever will. Our cultures are so toxic so much so that we have left them to come here ;-) Their culture is so beautiful for us.
Pea does a GREAT JOB (AS ALWAYS) of explaining the attractions, beyond money for S3X. A good friend back home (a feemail), said to me, 'they only want you for your money", which I snidely replied, "just like the women here, except they are highly discounted"...While crass, it is only partially true. Pea pegs it, we find much greater value in the women here, than we do at home, for many reasons beyond S3X.
    Love the Pea ;-)

What I got tired of dating in the USA is that people let pop culture define them. The media, celebrities, advertisements, music & TV shaped their personalities & values to the point where you feel like you're dating a TV set not a human. Kids who grew up with computers are now raising kids growing up with computers. Eventually we'll need keyboards to speak while sitting at the same table. And we'll discuss the Emmy & Oscar awards, Kardashians & reality shows in trendy new chat slang.

I really enjoyed your video pumping up my ego how great of a catch I really must be. But seriously, my wife randomly tells me all the time 'Thank You' just for being me and not some of the other guys out there she hears about. Your example of the Filipino mindset brought me back to my wife's brother recently. We bought a payong payong for him to use to make money as a driver and when we visited recently he told me he couldn't work for months because the sidecar tire was flat. I went and bought a wrench, he couldn't get the tire off, and walked the tire down to the local shop to repair it. All in all it cost 15 pisos for the wrench, which he could have borrowed, and 30 pisos for resetting the tire as it wasn't even busted. Lastly, for your viewers out there that still haven't experienced the joys and wonder of a Filipina, its really nice to have a partner that not only appreciates the things you do for her but is also very grateful for the things you DON'T do as well. Better yet she likes to reward you for it if you know what I mean.....

As a filipino myself, here's the reason guys. It's security for her and her family and an opportunity for a better life. That's the reason. Now, if she stays with you depends on the woman herself. You would like to have a woman stay despite the crappy reason, but there are also women who leave after they get to the foreign country. Usually this happens after they get some kind of good job and they start seeing their social market value (which is usually higher than the male). Keep in mind as well guys, when you marry a Filipina, you marry their family as well and will most likely find yourself supporting them too. I'm not saying all Filipinas are like this, but a good portion are. Also, the whole Filipinas or asian are girl subservient idea. It's false. Asian women in general are usually the most bossy wives, they all turn into tiger moms. Filipinas tend to be more fiery as well

I am not a Filipino, but I can confirm what you are saying. I lived near Davao for more than 2 years (absolutely love Philippines) and had few short relationships until I found a really good girl and we stayed together all till the end (I had to leave due to health reasons, we are still very good friends and she is happily engaged now). I've seen many foreigners (neighbors) having problems with Filipinas, but it all came from one single cause - if you find a Filipina that is much much younger than you, you are not attractive, you are not great at relationships, you don't bring all the other values you should into your relationship, then you are dating very much above your league, and sooner or later she will betray you or find a "better deal" with another guy. Like my 63 years old neighbor always dating 18 years old Filipinas and then being surprised they give him very serious troubles all the time. But if you find a Filipina that is closer to your league (age, finances, maturity, personality, looks) then you can have a very stable relationship. My other neighbor was 55 and dated a 35 years old mature good natured Filipina and they are still together, have a baby and are getting married. It's all about balance - if you get too greedy you will get burned.

As always, Pea, you did a great job of breaking down what really drives a Filipina to having a relationship with a foreigner. I think a lot of filipinas just aren't able to articulate all of these items very well. I hope your sisters will appreciate what you have done for them. While all the things are basically natural attractions for them, they can be hard to explain when the foreigner asks, "why me"? Western females have no clue anymore what it means to be a woman. They think they get power from their independence, when in fact, they just become slaves to a prison of their own creation. But filipinas understand innately what it means to bea woman. They embrace it and enjoy the real power that comes from being a true woman. Thanks for another great video, Pea. You are a national treasure for your country.

Hey there Pea, when my Filipina came to the Netherlands 25 or so years ago I met her at work. She and I became platonic friends and with my American background we had lots of similar interests. She sometimes would explain why she gave up on Filipino men. You ticked all the boxes in this video. So after her first 2 relationships here (steroid freak and later an alcoholic) we ran into each other in the supermarket and wow did we hit it off. Apparently we both had a secret crush on each other back then but both of us were involved so nothing ever happened. Not even a flirt! Now 20 years down the road we're together for the simple reason that I'm a gentleman (her words!). She now has someone she can trust and depend on. I now have the same and more!

I told her it was great but a little salty for me, because I don't eat much salt anymore. The next night a fixed a big pot of beef stew for her. I slow cooked it for 8 hours. I wanted to show how much I cared, it was never meant as a competition. She ate one bowl full. Then she dumped it out. She stormed out and I didn't talk to her for nearly two weeks. She claimed I "set (her) up for failure," but she really got mad when I pointed out it was her idea. So, it's the monk's life for me now. I tried to carry on, like I promised my wife. The disheartening news was that he never wants to be here. He should have told me that, than wasting my time. I never knew that he can do that to me. Gosh. Huhu. Thanks Ms. Pea and for this platform,I was able to express my pains.

You hit a home run with this one. You definitely defined what a actual filipina looks for in a foreigner. True enough there are some that have different motives but that is everywhere in the world. Alot of these western men may not have had anything close to a beautiful woman that is actually really into their character and personality. That is why they can't believe that a filipina is really attracted to them as a person rather than what their status is in life and how much money they have along with the big house and fancy cars. Some western women look for the materialistic value of a man. Thank you again for breaking it down for these guys. Great video. 👍

She treats me like a king, is consistent in communicating to me her wants and needs and she considers me the whole time if she’s making plans. In other words, it’s good not to be made to feel like an accessory and an afterthought in a British girl’s lifestyle. It makes me appreciate her more and want to do my best for her as well as myself. I studied Filipinas for 12 years until "I found the right one" over 6 years ago. The "Right One" for different men will vary. In my case she was in her 40s, separated from an unfaithful husband for many years, both children were finishing college and her parents were dead. She worked for a large family owned business for 30 years, showing stability and also that she was a trusted employee. She also was quite attractive, a practicing Catholic with a strong Filipina Libido. Furthermore, she never asked for money, which is a BIG RED FLAG! It was no accident that I found and have chosen her!

Love your channel. Just found it. My wife's Indonesian. And this has been a question I always pondered. I've also dated Filipina women in the past. For me, and with my military experience overseas, I became more attracted to foreign women, as an American. And the bigger the cultural differences, the more interested I become. My wife's Muslim. And I'm an Atheist. Although I was raised Catholic. But I've always wondered.... exactly why, all the reasons, Asian women in general, would prefer western men. Thanks for offering some reasons and explanations. My wife and I are discussing it now. ❤️

But once we got past that we had a wonderful time together. So much so I honestly didn’t want to come back home. Having said that, when we met she had no idea how wealthy I was and was somewhat awestruck when I suggested we relocate to the Philippines because I was tired of working my butt off. I gave her total control of my finances and get an 'allowance' for my day to day needs - San Mig and cigarettes. We own property and business interests, which she manages, and she knows that our children will be comfortable. By the way, there is no massive age gap. I am 54 and she is 43 so it is not a case of a gold-digger seeking her fortune at the expense of a foreigner. I show her respect and support her interests outside of our marriage.

I'm a "younger" foreigner dating an amazing Filipina, I'm in my 30's and I have to say the differences between women in PH vs the west are generally night and day. With that said, something my gf says always sticks with me "you're just different" good and bad, even the young-ish generation has a lot in common with the older generation. A lot of us that want to settle down and even retire in PH have the same mindset. We're tired of the double standards and games in the west are looking for something real and genuine that is surprisingly still out there. When we find a good one, we're loyal, loving and feel like we can be men again. Different from constantly being emasculated and constantly finding the preverbal measuring stick of money, money, height and money. It's nice to be judged on your character and your positive personality traits. Money and stability are bonuses, the whole package is what really matters...no not that package lol

It was an issue my Filipina wife and I took months to work out.
My wife has a great work ethic but would get on my case for “excesses” we Americans do. Like owning 2 vehicles and leaving stuff plugged in and not having to worry about things bursting into flames. 🔥 Also stuff like hot water and air conditioning.
Plus actually fixing stuff the right way and not just half-assing it.
All women want a man who is their superior and will lead them to a prosperous life. If they don’t they are just kidding themselves.
Filipinas take pride in being wives where American wives get bored and initiate divorce 5-8 years into a marriage.
Filipinas have no idea who Carrie Bradshaw is.
American women operate on Carrie Bradshaw’s level of entitlement. Where an average at best woman rides the cc in her 20s and 30s and expects a millionaire to wife her up at 40. Then gets mad at the world when men don’t.

Hi pea great video. I would partly agree with you. I’m in cebu now and have been dating. So far I’ve found two groups of Filipinas. 1) girls that are poor and looking for security and A serious relationship. They are nice but there English is not great and I have little in common with them. 2) professional Filipinas who speak brilliant English and looking for ‘Netflix and chill’ similar to girls back home. I’m yet to find a Filipina I can have a Conversation with and a serious relationship.

You’ll find what you’re looking for when you run across a provincial girl who’s started working in the city 👍❤️

Here's a tip: Filipinas don't have anything interesting to say. So there are Filipinas who don't have anything interesting to say in Filipino, and there are those who don't have anything interesting to say in English. Same outcome.

Understand that most filipinas have zero use for history science etc etc. Now if it's it's movie stars, singers or fashion they're experts. They live in the moment. They're not interested in boring details or things that don't affect them. I can put a filipina to sleep in three minutes talking about history. I think of filipinos n filipinas as children in the most beautiful sense. They're very innocent. Complex but innocent. Truly children of God. I wouldn't change a thing about them. They'll shock you and surprise you with wisdom, intelligence, beauty, and challenge your views of the world and yourself. Girls that are poor aren't all looking for security. Many are very ambitious to go to school etc. Almost always for the sake of their families. They're pretty selfless and generous and loving, caring, funny and happy people. There's alot more than two kinds of filipina. You need to slow down. They'll find you.

You are judgemental i think you will end up onedy on a woman who will dump you ,,, as a poor filipina (we can eat 3x per day and pay our bills ) we dont look for security ,by the way ,most people in the philippines speak english ,we are looking for serious relationship...in behalf of my husband ,he will tell you are wrong ,since we are together in span of almost 3years our life or even my husband life is way better , because we both work hard and save for our future, and everyday we always have time for each other ...the other side i see people professional ,and have money but they are not happy worst is they have shaky marriage ,,so for me finding someone is not about status ...those who have broken english and poor are the most humble people around the world

@@woodspirit98 thats great to hear and i agree with you ,ive talked few men ,and most of them trying to change filipina ,,if a filipina find a good man even he is the poorest in his country he will love you till the rest of your life ,and help you reach your goals 😍🥰

My compliments to you for making such an excellent video. The end was hilarious! Very imaginative. My wife of 13 years is originally from Pangasinan and has explained her attraction to me similarly, for which I am immortally grateful. She is the greatest person I have ever known, and as wonderful a mother as she is a spouse. We are close in age, but I was divorced while she was never married. Long story short, I am the luckiest man I know to be married to her, and she seems to think she got pretty lucky too. Your video helped make some sense of that to me. Well done, IMHO.

You are right in almost all but us foreigners who are older also enjoy the fact that filipinas are more respectful, loving, caring and considerate people who put us and our immediate family first. This is the lesson I have taught my children and my soon to be son and daughter there in the Phillipines. Family first....this is why i love my filipina, not just for her beauty outside but her inner beauty inside.

This is was a great motivational speech. I actually feel better about myself after watching it😊. I still think the financial part gets my foot in the door but that's fine by me. I'm hoping for a relationship and given a chance is all I need to see if it will work out long term. Well done Pea.

You explain very well Pea. It’s the same thing here in Brazil.
The only problem here is that everybody only speaks Portuguese and I have problems with the language.

Again, your analysis is spot-on! I'm sure women everywhere, in every era, experienced similar feelings and attractions, which likely explains at least some of our global genetic and linguistic diversity.
