GamedOut Gamer, Thank you. I wanted something lightweight (JLU limited 3500lbs towing capacity) and durable. The solid build of the Geo Pro offers and meets what I was looking for. I love the modern looks outside and inside. The off-road package comes with 4” lift. The Dorflex axle with the Good Year off-road tires is what I was looking for. So far we’ve done 5 camping trips. Traveled with the camper 1856 miles and stayed 15 days total. Zero issues with the Geo Pro. We really love our Geo Pro Camper. I’ve gone down some awful bad small town full of pothole streets, but not dirt roads yet. So far there is nothing loose inside or outside the Geo. The JLU handles the Geo camper perfectly. We forget we are towing a camper. I’ll keep doing updates on the Geo Pro. Thanks for taking the time to watch my video and comment.

I just read that your Jeep has a 3,500 lb. tow capacity. That is the same as our tow vehicle, a 2022 Toyota Sienna Hybrid and we tow a 2019 E-Pro 19BH (essentially the same rig as Juan's Geo-Pro). There are many questions on how your Jeep tows and with the same tow capacity, I will share our experiences since we purchased our TT about 13 months ago.
    1. Since purchase, we have put (as of this writing) 14,467 miles on our rig.
    2. We do have a weight distribution hitch (Camco Eaz-Lift TR3 600lb). It tracks very well!
    3. It tows very well on flat to moderate inclines
    4. Our longest trip was an almost 13,000 mile road trip (about 10,000 while towing) from FL to WA state, and back, over a 2 month period through 24 states.
    5. Our biggest challenge during that trip was the steeper inclines. Going up those, we would not push it more than 35-40 MPH.
    6. We had ZERO issues with transmission, engine overheating or any other issues related with towing.
    7. We certainly have a brake controller (Curt Wireless Bluetooth)
    8. Since purchase of our rig, and during our long road trip, we have have NO major issues (2 small roof leaks did need to be sealed; it is a 5 year old rig) and just some minor things.
    9. While our TV is certainly NOT an ideal TV, it works for us (this is all that we have to tow).
    10. We usually keep our speeds at 55-60 on the highway.
    11. Our gas mileage while towing ranges from 17-21 MPG. Best during our cross country road trip was 23 MPG with a tail wind; worst was 14 MPG with a head wind.
    12. We have 3 driving modes in our TV; Eco, Normal and Sport. We have only towed using Eco mode.
    13. Stability while towing has not been an issue. I had another WDH before the Eaz-Lift and it did not perform as well.
That's about it. Please feel free to ask and questions.

Hi, Blake. The first camper that I was interested in was a Lance. Then I learned about Geo Pros. What sold me to the Geo Pro’s: All Aluminum framing, Azdel vacuum laminated walls, and roof, fiberglass outer shell, Walkable roof, Dexter axle, Off-road packing including the 4” lift kit, Solar panels with 1000 inverter, the Maxxair fan with cover, gas / electric water heater, 13,500 low profile A/C, all interior water piping have no fittings they are sealed together to prevent leakage. We love the modern look of the Geo Pro with the light colors in the interior. To be fair, I went to 12 dealers, none carried the Lance brand. Only two salesmen heard of a Lance. In my search for the Lance. I was shown a Winnebago Micro Minnie. I was not sold on the Winnebago. We are very happy with our Geo Pro. We are going on 11 months 5,904 miles of towing, and 40 nights in it. My Jeep is a late 2018 JLU Sahara. I only have a 2” lift with stock shocks and springs. 35” tires everything else is stock. The Jeep tows the Geo Pro like a champ. No issues, no sign of struggles. I do use a break contrail in my Jeep for the Geo Pro. About your Jeep with the 4” lift and 37” tires. Nice!! It’s all about the axle weight capacity. About the springs, it’s a tricky question because if you get stiffer springs, your ride will change when not towing a camper. My transmission temperature is between 199-208 203 most of the time. I’ve traveled about 2000 miles with the trailer. I don’t go over 65 MPH on the highway. I installed a brake control on my JLU for the trailer.

More light came in. And I know I was going to have friends come with us at time. I’m glad with my decision of the G19BH. Take your time and think of what model makes you feel at home. Thanks for watching and comment. Let me know what you get. Cheers, JC

Aaron, we are learning the more you take the more work there is to be done. We started to take less things in every trip. We also buy food and drinks at the town we stay in to keep weight down. And I do travel with all my tanks empty. For my it has never felt I’m towing too much weight. I hardly feel I’m towing a trailer.

Thanks for this wonderful review, I’m just starting to think about getting a camping trailer and I own a JL Wrangler, so I have to keep an ultra light weight trailer, this one looks fantastic, what’s the price? I live in central Florida, what would be the best rv dealer to work with? Thank you very much

Hi Roger, you're welcome. Geo Pro’s have a few models under 3K LBS . my model is the G19BH @ 3088 LBS dry weight. We got it for $24K. This is a premium price for a premium product. For outstanding quality features of a geo Pro are: All around aluminum framing, walls are constructed with Azdel, Dexter Torsion Axle, They don’t use fitting on the plumbing, carpentry is pre-drilled and screwed together Vs stapled. We got the off-road package with the 4” lift. They also come with a 100-watt solar panel the new ones now are 190-watt it comes with an outside inlet to add more solar panels with a 1000 watt inverter. A WiFi booster.13,500 Low Profile Roof A/C and Maxxair® Ventilation Fan and Vent Cover. We also like the interior light colors with the large frameless windows including a front automobile windshield. We purchased ours in Ft Pierce @ Tropical RV Sales. It’s a small dealer that only sells Geo pro’s. There are a few economical options out there. One of them being the Wolf Pup same floorplan. Both are manufactured by Forest River. There are great deals in RV one in Ft Myers that carry Wolf Pups. (They don’t carry Geo Pros) I would buy at a small dealer. They have the best customer service out there. I don’t suggest Camping World. For one thing, they only have 1 or 2 lightweight models. 2nd customer service is horrendous there. However, we are Camping World members to buy accessories. They have a huge selection and have a store in many locations. I just don’t suggest buying your camper there. I hope this helps. Let me know if you have any further questions. Let me know what you end up getting. Thanks for watching and your comment. Cheers, JC

There's a Dealer from "Haylett RV Reviews" (also on CZcams) who said the average Extra Weight which includes Propane, Water, Food, Clothes, Bedsheets, Pillows, Garden Chairs, Bikes, etc, is about 1300 lbs. Add that to the Trailer's Dry Weight, and if it's Over 3500 lbs, your vehicle will probably need Engine Repairs and New Brakes sooner than you think!

Hi, how well would the Jeep tow a 20 BHS? Pretty much no water and just clothes,l and 250 pounds of extras ie. Chocks, blocks, grille, 3 chairs. 3 people. No hard top.

    • @Ultracon
      @Ultracon  Před 2 lety +1

Hi Chris, The G20BHS hitch weight is 495 lbs, and the dry weight is 3547. You're going to be over the weight limits off the bat. I would not recommend this. I wanted the G19FBS. But I played it safe and got the G19BH. Do I think the wrangler can handle the 20BHS? YES? But, if you get into an auto accident, this might get you into legal problems. It’s best to play it safe. Let me know what you end up getting. That 20BHS looks fantastic. The G19BH lacks elbow room when we have guests. Cheers, JC

I love the American flag behind the grill on your Jeep, but do yourself a favor and get rid of it. It restricts airflow to the radiator and can lead to overheating which can damage the engine especially when towing. Just trying to help!

Hi Alexander, I’m fully aware of the JLU engineer’s capacity of 1000 lbs payload and 3500lbs towing. My girl and I have a combined weight of under 300lbs. 150-200 of cargo weight for the JLU. The Geo Pro dry weight is 3088 lbs. The heaviest item would be the propane tank, followed by the electrical hook-up cord then the electrical surge protector. The few items we keep in the trailer are plastic or light. At most 200 lbs of cargo weight. I keep all my tanks empty when traveling. We buy any food and beverages at the camp location. Trust me, I’m fully aware I’m limited, and we travel crazy light. I drive nice and easy at 55-62 MPH. Thanks for your comment.
