having a dump and taking a shower at the same time, the dream.
Lol! I guess that would be the most efficient way to use a wet bath!
Never thought of that but you made me laugh!

Ohhh man this is the best comment ive seen in awhile, thanks for the laughs man!
That Nucamp is absolutely perfect. The prep room around the sink is unmatched. And that wet bath with the sink is clever. đ
NuCamp does a great job with their floor plans and maximizing space. Thanks for watching and commenting.
Iâve been researching campers and new camp is the way to go. You get what you pay for. And they know what theyâre doing building these things.
The Nucamp T@b I think is actually my favorite. I think they made the most of all the space and it still includes everything with a nice modern spacious feel. Thank you for doing this! Itâs awesome to be able to shop by weight since thatâs what a lot of people have to do when they already have a vehicle and then need to add a camper. Thanks so much for making this video!đđŒ

Regarding the first trailerâs stove positioning- totally makes sense because before you talked about it, we were saying how awkward it was that the door swings against the stove. But since the stove is on the other side, that leaves the door area free to go in and out. đđ
Hi Shaun,
It does make sense - it just seemed weird to me for some reason. Probably because the cooler opened one way and the stove opened the other...

I was thinking the same thing but turn the fridge around so they are on the same side. Also, if you have guests over under the awning you won't have your back to them while you're cooking.
Thank you for the review, you guys are showing just what we are looking for. I have a outback and have 3,000 lb max for towing. My wife wants ONE thing out all these, a BATHROOM. The inTech with the panoramic view is my favorite.

Nice review video. The NuCamp Tab 400 Solo is my favorite of these. I currently have the Forest River No Boundaries 16.5. Dry weight just under 3000, 20 ft long. It has a great u-shaped dinette at the front, surrounded by 3 very large windows, ideal for me because I always want to look outside at the view. The queen bed in the back also has 3 windows. It is very rugged built, great for boondocking.

This is an awesome review! We just bought the Coleman Latern LT 17B, identical floorplan to the Coachmen Clipper 17BH. It has a big shelf over the queen bed, an electric fireplace below the sink, the mircrowave is relocated over a slightly smaller fridge, and a window at the bottom bunk rather than the door. These little 17 bunkhouse trailers are amazing for a family with smaller kiddos!! I really appreciate your down to earth review of reasonable trailers that most of us common folk can actually afford and tow!
Thanks Brian!!!

Been eyeballing the rpods a lot, but this video made me reconsider while looking at the Tabs! Have seen a few and bypassed them, but the more I look the more I like them! Last year my wife & I bought a Sonic 149VL. It's a great little trailer 14' 9" and weighs 2960 lbs. I'm 6'6" & 270lbs and I fit in it nicely. The kitchen is in the rear by the door, the queen bed is up front, it has a small leaf dining table and full size toilet with separate shower (no sink). We love it. Thanks for the video, Great job!!!

I have the KZ 130RBSE, which I first learned about when you profiled it in your "8 Small Campers With a Bathroom" video. I just got it in December, so I haven't towed it with my Jeep Wrangler yet, but I have used it several times with my Silverado and it has pretty much lived up to my expectations.
Hi AlaskaEric,

I love the Nu Camp RVs, we just don't have any dealerships down here where I live. The designs are just so cool, with the window when you lay on the bed, nice ambulance feature and huge windows I love that it makes it so nice...And I don't mind the wet shower, live that little window in bathroom you forgot to show us, I could barely see, but usually they have like little vent type window..! Thanks..I didn't like any of the others..really in love with Nu Camp.
Thank you for showing us around, appreciate it! Yes and the comment about short and sweet is true, I literally have to speed up the video sometimes on other people cuz they drag things out, good job, you guys!

GET READY! We are launching our new digital/video magazine called RV Camping Magazine on June 1st! Stay tuned for our CZcams Video all about it!
Nice roundup. I grew up with soft top trailers and Im not fond of the fold out beds on the hybrids. We have the older version of the Coachmen Clipper 17BH, a Coachman Northern Spirit17RD 3450 lb dry ( very similar to the Catalina). Its perfect for the 2 of us and tows pretty decently behind my Honda Ridgeline with a WDH and Brake Controller. Anyone looking at small trailers, please try to keep your weight well below your vehicle limits. By you time you add water and basics of life, you can push the envelope pretty quickly. Remember Dry Weight means not a spoon, towel or piece of T.P !!!

Seems like the NuCamp took first prize for those only looking to sleep 2 or 3 people. Looked like the best counter space and bathroom with lots of thoughtful features overall.

The NuCamp definitely has great countertop space and we like the bathroom as well. Glad you liked it too!

NuCamp also includes two 6v deep cycle batteries, an inverter, ducted AC, among other things that i donât think any of the others had. You do pay a premium for them, but you get a quality trailer that will probably stand the test of time.
We're glad you liked our TAB, Benjamin!
The wife and I have an order in on a Forest River Cherokee Wolf Pup 16FQBL; which fits this category of travel trailer. There's only the two of us and we're height challenged. I love your RVs I just would like to know when the fridge has a door for the freezer, very important to me
Hi Marilu,
Do you mean a separate door to the freezer?
Thanks!
Mike
We have a 12ft Taylor Coach, 1500lbs, toilet/shower combo(also outdoor shower), we tow it with our 4cyl Sante fe suv, and get 17 miles to the gallon. Queen bed/2 burner stove/2.7 fridge, bunk(we store our bedding), 3000lb axle, electric brakes.
Hi Jane,
We need to make a video about the Taylor Coach brand. We've never been in one but we hear good things about them.

You do a great job on all your videos! That last one seemed like you could stand up comfortably in the shower! It seems like they should be more observant on how high the showers are! I am 6 feet tall ! Years ago I had a 35 ft RV even that had a bathroom I was not happy with as for as shower hight:(
Hi thetiler,
Thanks for the kind words! We appreciate you watching our videos and your comments too!
Shower height makes all the difference. RV showers are already small to begin with and if they aren't tall enough it just makes the whole shower no good.
Thanks again and keep in touch!
Safe travels,
Mike and Susan
Shower height can certainly be an issue! We did try to design our bathroom to allow for the shower to accommodate taller campers.
Ok trailer with tent I consider pop up. Good fair whether, but did tent camping10 years as Boy Scout leader.
Ones with slides look interesting, as more real estate inside. These videos help me know what I want.
Figure 1st rent travel trailer my car can tow. 2nd no tent. 3rd. Big comfy bed no bunks. Finally big fridge.
Hey James,
That's some great criteria for a camper :)

Great review I really like the Rpod 189 as it's just a touch over 3000lbs and I have a jeep cherokee as well also the Geo pro has one very simular
Hi Paulo,
The Jeep should be able to handle either of them with no problem!
Thanks for watching and for your comment!

I like the efficiency of the nu camp layout. Talk about the ultimate night lounging camper ... you have full access to the fridge in bed. :)
Hi Croaking Toad,
Love the screen name!
And a fridge next to bed sounds like a great idea to me too!

Wow. What an awesome video. I love the brevity. I love the relevant information. The selected trailers are exactly what I'm trying to source out. I love this video. Anyway thumbs up, and you have a new subscriber. Great job guys.

the coachman clipper 17bh is such a great little trailer. we're hopefully switching to a full size RV so we can pull it.

I like the off roadable (mild terrain) trailers
Hey Bob,
Nice!

on the first trailer, the stove top cover opens the other way so you are not blocking the door while cooking. thanks for the reviews!
Hi Tex,
Thanks for the response - still seems weird to me because there is plenty of space.
Thanks for watching and commenting and I'm glad you liked the reviews!
Mike
Great observation, I also considered perhaps its angles that way so you can "face" the party, instead of the cook having to have their back turned, and because the breeze will have an easier time carrying fumes away from the trailer on the side. Your likely correct though!
Tab. Thank you.
Hi Stacy
You are very welcome!
Thanks for watching!
Mike and Susan
We're glad you like our TAB, Stacy!
I am a fan of the R Pods. I've looked a lot (online) and always come back those. The 180 is my favorite floor plan. So, I like this R-Pod also. The NuCampT@Bs are great, but expensive for the size class.
Hi Connie,
Lot's of folks really like the R-Pods and NuCamps.
We always recommend buying used so you can save some money. The first 3 years will be the most amount of depreciation so your best deal will be to buy something a few years old.
And if you want to buy new - be prepared to negotiate.

We're glad you like our TABs, Connie! We do have a bit of a higher price point because we focus on quality, with all our campers being hand-built by Ohio Amish craftsmen.
Like the nuCamp. Nice design. Cabinets look sturdy. Would enjoy seeing if Oliver makes a small one.
Hey TravelDreamer,
We like that one too!

This is m y first visit to your page. I am looking to purchase a lightweight TT soon. This is very informative. Thank you
Welcome! So glad you found us and hope we can help! Thanks for watching and commenting.
Nice list! I'm surprised no Rockwood GeoPros made it though. They look nice, are built to go offroad and come with basic inverters and solar panels already installed. I do love the Sol Dawn. The only reasons I'd still take the GeoPro over it are the inverter and the fact that I'd have to go from dinette to bed every night.
Hi Alexis,
I remember there was a GeoPro at the show when we shot this video but I can't remember why we didn't include it in the video...
Thanks for watching!
Mike
These are great but so many left out that offer more space and the same weight like keystone hideout 175lhs which competes with the 17bh and offers sink in bathroom, or the Rockwood mini lite or even the epro lineup that now comes with Murphy bed and standard solar panels. Good video.
Hi Jaz,
There are tons of great trailers that aren't in this video! But we intend to make more videos and show off even more great travel trailers under 3,500 lbs. I appreciate you giving us some good suggestions to look for in the future! Keep the suggestions coming!
Thanks for watching!
Mike
inTech Flyer Explorer - I think the stove top cover opens in the correct direction, so the person cooking is not in the way of/blocking the door to the trailer.

Good point!

Iâd like to see Stand up in toy haulers that are short in length, under 3500 lbs and haul an ATV! With a really good amount of fresh water capacity.
If you know of one that fits all those criteria please let us know. We would love to tour that. Thanks for watching and commenting.
