It's great to know that one needs a secondary power cable that simultaneously charges the Jeep battery during towing. Thank you.
RV people have the BEST comments, solutions and Support. This Video is Awesome!
Hope everyone pays attention to the black holding tank size! Hope you like to empty every 3 days. Almost bought one...nice rv, nope. 12-13 gallons is pathetic.
Great video...appreciate the info!
I wouldn't put medicines in the medicine cabinet that is in the shower. Humidity from the shower will degrade the medicines (water molecules). I would keep the medicines in a cool, dry place.
Hi Mike and Susan! I like all of them but I think I like the Coachmen Euro because I like the European look. But I like Thor as well. It was a hard choice to pick with this one. Thank you Mike and Susan. Have a great week and weekend.
Hi Sherri! Thanks for sharing! Hope you have a great week and weekend too! Mike and Susan
Why didn’t u back in. ???
Watch the video again. If I back in then the side door of our RV would be facing the wrong way. The hookups are actually on the wrong side on this campsite.
I like the Thor Vegas for the additional sleeping options, the front swivel seats that have a table between and the BR. I like the Coachman Euro for the dishwasher and the bathroom, with the glass shower door.
Hi Patty, great points! Now we just need a coach that has it all! Thanks for watching! Mike
Northern lite for me too , seemed to have most headroom in bedroom.
That's a great choice! Thanks for sharing your vote! Mike
Great video but the coffee maker is much lol a simple percolating pot is small and better tasting trust !
I have tried the old percolating pot but I can't stand coffee grinds in my coffee! Maybe I'm doing something wrong...I even tried using a coffee filter in my old percolator...any advice? Thanks, Mike
Mike makes a good point in the comments. If i can afford to buy an RV, I'm definitely paying for an independent inspection. Maybe Mike and Susan could do a video on inspections. 😊
Maybe we could make a video about why inspections are so important and we can interview an RV Inspector - lord knows we know quite a few RV inspectors. Thanks for the suggestion! Mike
We really appreciate the pop up info yall add
Thanks so much! Hope you have a great day! Mike
Find a real one for tall people please. Would need to include Raised counter heights and a toilet that I'm not hanging off of...
There are no RVs with raised cabinet heights. You could possibly add a comfort height toilet as an after market product.
@@RVBlogger that's disappointing. I guess I will have to go with a tiny home build then. Thanks for the intel. I've been searching fruitlessly.
Very nice reviews, thank you.
Thanks very much! We do our best and we are glad you enjoyed them! Mike and Susan
If I had the funds, I would choose the Euro with a washer. The Thor is a great second option, yet a propane cook hub and a shower curtain really falls short. Thor needs a induction cooktop and retractable shower door...
I love the idea of a washer/dryer over a dishwasher but most of these coaches are designed for weekend warriors not full timers. Are you full time so you would need a washer/dryer or do you just like the convenience of a W/D while camping for a week or weekend? Thanks for watching! Mike
Jayco wins.. 1. The layout is great with all that floor space 2. Unlike Grand Design, this jayco has Azdel inside and outside. 3. Unlike Grand Design again, Jayco uses plywood instead of cheaper OSB 4. 2 year bumper to bumper warranty and 3 on the structure.. Best in the industry. (And yes, I know GD isn't in this video but the 17MKE is the true competitor)
Great analysis! And we have reviewed the 17 MKE a couple of times so we didn't include it in this video. Thanks for watching and sharing your thoughts! Mike
Once again, it seems like they hire their designers right out of grade school. Why in the world would you put a double sink in an RV this size?
Some folks really like a double sink - we love ours! So I think it's kind of a 50/50 thing ( pun intended - get it!) Thanks for watching! Mike
BT really needs to reevaluate their layouts. I really like the footprint of these but man, the floorplans are odd.
Yeah - its tough to make a good floor plan when the whole RV including the drivers cab is under 25'. What would you do differently? Thanks for watching! Mike
Dishwashers take up too much storage space. I’d rather have space for storage.
We agree! Or a washer/dryer maybe... Thanks for watching and for your comment! Mike
My Vote…..ABSOLUTELY have to have the dishwasher!!!!
LOL! Folks are really loving the dishwasher! Thanks for chiming in! Mike
Life is faced with difficult decisions and trade-offs. I love the idea of a dishwasher. However, I really love having room for storage even more. I can't justify losing storage space for a dishwasher, especially with the possibility that it might not do as good a job as I do.
Since you are full time would you think a washer/dryer would be a better use of space than the dishwasher? Thanks for watching and commenting! Mike
Hi Mike, I actually like doing laundry at the park laundromat. Not only do I get more room for storage but It gives me an opportunity to meet other full timers. 😊
I really like these guys. Watch all the time
Hey this was our first tour video from the Hershey Show back in 2019! Wow we have been doing this a long time! Thanks for watching!!! We really appreciate the support! Mike and Susan
You know what would be cool, a Murphey bed up in the front instead of a dinnet table and a bed in the back and the shower floor expanded by a few more inches and the toilet a bit more away from the wall. Simple innovations that the RV companies don't really think about because if you think about it all RVs are nothing but the same cookie cutter design with different pricing but with Things simply moved around. In other words you are simply getting ripped off.
LOL! Quite the cynic! But it is kinda true. If you have ever tried to remodel an RV you would quickly discover that every time you move something you have to move something else and it creates a chain reaction because of the unintended consequences. So the designers are a little restricted as to what they can do. But there is always room for improvement. Thanks for watching and commenting! Mike
We love the Coachmen Euro it doesn't sit high as a Reg class A. We can do without the dishwasher storage would be better the 2 sinks are good. Does this Class A come with 2 twin beds?
Great question and the answer is YES - but...not yet. They have a new floor plan coming out soon that offers twin beds. Here is a link so you can check out the floor plan. www.coachmenrv.com/print/floorplans/euro Thanks for watching and commenting! Mike
It always annoys me to no end when they put a sink in the bathroom in such a small camper. It's completely unnecessary and shouldn't even be a thing. You have your sink in the kitchen. Imagine how much more room would be in that bathroom for the shower and the toilet if you just eliminated the useless sink.
We agree but there is a serious debate about the bathroom sink. I say eliminate it and but a hand sanitizer dispenser in the bathroom - problem solved and more space for the shower and toilet! Thanks for watching! Mike
Thanks for the tours! That Coachmen Euro looks too 'plastic-ey' and lifeless for us. Great features but too bland, at least the model shown.
You are very welcome! We've been touring RVs since 2019 and loving every minute of it! It seemed like a lower cost luxury coach but it falls a little short. I would get rid of the dinette and install a TV location over top of a fireplace. We love to use TV trays while we eat dinner in our theater seats and watch TV. Thanks for commenting! Mike
Hello. I love how straightforward, informative, and entertaining your approach is to these videos. My wife and I had an A-liner popup some years back and we're thinking about getting something slightly larger so we're in the research phase right now. One question I have for the two of you has to do with the reliability and quality of RVs in general. Do you ever mention this in your videos? It would be helpful to know, given a choice of a couple similar trailers, if one had better construction and perhaps a better record with reliability. We know that when your "house" is moving and being jostled about, that things will break more readily than in a permanent structure but if you are aware of RV companies that seem to do a better job of putting their units together, that would be a great thing to pass on to prospective buyers. Thank you for your content.
Hi Claudio, This is a great point that you bring up but we don't cover the quality aspect of these trailers. Two of the same exact RV can be very different quality. And it all depends how you camp in your RV and how often you use it. And we would need to live in each unit for a year to see if it is really a quality unit or not. So we just stick to livability and then we leave it up to each viewer to research a unit they may be interested in. We always recommend getting an inspection and a good warranty wether you buy new or used. All that being said if Susan and I were going to buy a travel trailer we would buy one of the fiberglass brands or we would go with an AirStream. These hold up the best, have the fewest leaks, and they have the best resale value. So although the price is higher when you purchase, the overall cost is lower because you may spend less on repairs and you can recoup some of your money when you sell it. We currently own a Class A Thor and a Class C Gulf Stream and they have both had their problems that I have had to fix. But that is going to happen in every RV. Avoid Schwintek slides unless you want to get really good at making slide repairs or you have an excellent warranty without mileage limits and allows for mobile RV techs to make repairs. We have a warranty like this and it is awesome. In less than 2 years we have saved more than we paid for the warranty.. Hope all this helps! Mike
@@RVBlogger This helps tremendously Mike! Thanks so much.
One thing to add is how many seat belts
Thanks for the suggestion Joyce. We are considering showing seat belts and also car seat tethers. What do you think? Mike
@@RVBlogger that would be great not only for grandparents but young families as well.
@@joycejohnson1396 Thanks for your feedback!
Why do they most manufacturers have such high step-ups I would think 3 inch step-ups would be nice and better ?
Hi Ronald, Do you mean into the shower or into the RV? If you are asking about the showers then the reason the raise the shower pans is so that the shower trap fits under the shower pan. The shower trap is a piece of pvc pipe in the shape of a sideways S and it traps water in it so that sewer smells don't enter into the RV. I hope this makes sense. Thanks for watching! Mike
How u fill clean water
Uh..., you attach your hose to the tank fill connection and turn on the water. Newer RVs have just one place to hook up the water with a valve that you turn from City Water to Tank Fill. That's how you fill your water tank. Thanks for watching! Mike
Thanks u sir so informative
You are very welcome! Glad we could help! Hope you have a great day... Mike

I love the Euro, but I’d take out the couch and move the tv to where it was. Open up the floor space 😊. Great review as always!
Yeah - there is no good place for the TV in this RV and we really don't like the TV over the dinette either. I guess they had to out it somewhere... Thanks for your comment! Mike
There is no counter space in the kitchen
Which one are you talking about? Countertops are prime real estate in any RV! Thanks for watching! Mike
@@RVBlogger the first one
I agree. For the first RV, I see no need to take up all the counter space with a huge double sink. Shrink the sink and have some counter space.
@@leahwheeldon3389 Absolutely!
Mike, you wouldn't need a dishwasher. You have Susan. Don't let her slap me.
She read this and she's on her way! RUN!!!! But seriously Susan does the dishes and I do the cooking - haha! We split most of our responsibilities and we have become quite efficient I must say. Thanks for watching! Mike
On the Holiday model I would’ve preferred a single bowl sink and more countertop space for meal preparation. The outdoor storage and theater setup was nice The Thor Vega The cabinet are sweet!! The sofa is a little small. I wish the back could recline. I missed if the sofa could transition into a bed. The kitchen had a decent amount of cutting surface. The Coachman has an interesting design. The entertainment area seemed a little tight , but I like that the sofa jackknifes out. The upper cabinets above the sofa reminds me of a narrower version of the carryon cabinet in air planes. The kitchen works for me. The garbage bin, and cleaning caddy stole my heart ♥️ super thoughtful and necessary. A dishwasher (omg). Absolutely a dishwasher! At these price points, give me as many useable amenities as possible. I’m getting older and hand washing is becoming less appealing to me. The bedroom space colors are soothing and mimics a hotel suite. More walking area would be appreciated.
Thanks for sharing! All great points as usual! More countertop space is really important. Not enough is very inconvenient. The sofa in the Vegas does not jack knife into a bed. Thor considers this theater seating but it's really just a recliner. The Coachmen did have a unique design and we agree that the more amenities the better! Bring'em on! Thanks for watching and commenting! MIke
It's hard for me to understand how a larger RV 27,28 and 29 ft. can have such a small shower. 24X36 isn't big enough 36X36 would be much better all concerned.
I agree! Some of these showers are barely big enough for me to get into! Great suggestion! Mike
All very interesting. The Coleman Euro has an induction range and a dishwasher, which begs the question of the electrical power required to run this thing. It would be worth discussing that in your video. Sounds to me like this is exclusively a shore power rig.
In my experience, people who want a dishwasher aren't usually boondockers.
Most RVs are NOT designed for boondockers. The vast majority of RV owners use their RV for a one week vacation and a few weekends a year. So that is what most RVs are designed for - pedestal camping. If you were really boondocking you would probably never use your dishwasher.
What if instead of a dishwasher Euro offered a washer?
@@ozwomanid57 That would be prefect!
Why am I getting this 4 year old video?
I have no idea? Maybe because this content applies no matter how old it is. Maybe you clicked on the thumbnail to watch it? I'm not sure what you mean?
I want the dishwasher!❤
Haha! The dishwasher is a hit!
For the Couchman the 25TB would be the way to go for me. No slide to use the bed.
Yeah - that is a good feature! Our bed slide broke once and we can't sleep in our bed if the slide isn't out...long night...
I really do not like receptacles on the side of the lower cabinets. That is an accident waiting to happen.
Hi Janice - that's a good point! Thanks for watching! Mike
We hate ice cubes. It’s a non issue. If we need a chunk of ice, we can use any container. LOVE LOVE LOVE this first one.
So you make your own ice cubes but not in the shape of cubes? lol! I'm confused I think - can you explain this to me? Thanks for watching and commenting! Mike
@@RVBlogger I mean your comment about not being able to put an ice tray in these large drawers. We don’t like ice cubes in our drinks. Ever. So we don’t make ice in general. If we need ice for some project, we would just make a block of ice in any container and that would still work in these drawers. I personally have never understood people’s obsession with ice and ice makers. I drink my water at room temperature. 🤷🏼♀️
@@theartistjodievans Thanks for explaining that to me. I get it - I used to drink soda at room temp. Hope you have a great week! Mike
Single bowl sink with sprayer and a goose neck faucet is so functional. I wish all makers would include a convection microwave. You can cook anything in them-especially when the weather is not cooperative outside.
Great observations Kim! We love our convection microwave! In fact I have some chocolate chip cookie mix to bake in ours one day this week! Thanks for watching and commenting! Mike
I’d be very interested in the Coachmen if there was an overhead bunk. Too bad its really just a couples campers.
I thought it was odd not to have an overhead bunk. That's a better use of space for the occasional visitors like kids or grandkids. Great point and thanks for watching! Mike
Thor finally, finally fixed that weird a** bathroom setup in to something really nice. 👍
Glad you like it! Thanks for watching! Mike
