Russia Pushes HARD Before Western Aid Arrives

- The Ukrainian military has announced the withdrawal from three settlements in Donetsk as Russia is pushing their forces to the maximum before Western aid can reach the individual units on the frontlines. Russia used cluster munitions to attack civilians in a public park and burned down a law school in Odessa. Tucker Carlson decided to platform and promote Alexandr Dugin and his genocidal and racist ideas.

At 11:56 in this video you describe exactly Trump’s plans for the United States if he’s elected.
Actually, I agree with you most cases in this case, though... I think it's a good thing Russians are advancing! With Ukrainians getting more ammunition... it should be even more of a meat grinder. After all, the endgame is Russian internal leadership change.
If it helps with pronunciation at all Jake, there is actually “this one neat trick” in this case. (TLDR: click the audio pronunciation button on G Translate). Type in “English to Ukrainian” on the search engine of the company that owns this platform. In the text box for English, type the English name of the Ukrainian city, term, or person. It will give you a direct transliteration into Cyrillic, instead of a translation. Click the speaker button in the Ukrainian box. It will give you a fairly good audio pronunciation. Extremely useful… I use this all the time for words I’m uncertain about. Since the start of the war, they’ve made Ukrainian a primary language of development, and it’s extremely accurate.
@@Mikeb8134That’s the ideal situation, and what they’re moving toward. An armistice and withdrawal, when Putin feels the pressure, might be a more likely outcome. Making any sort of deal with them seems repugnant, I know, but a desperate Putin might try to cut most of their losses, and opt for something they can spin as a Pyrrhic victory…

Most Russians scapegoat the Germans for their losses in WWII, when it was mostly Stalin throwing meat waves of poorly armed soldiers at the Germans to soak up their ammo with their bodies
Stalin was just as bad if not worse than Hitler
He just ended up on the winning side in the end
Though he started out working Hitler to invade Poland
Well, I (a German) have heard that from numerous people from Poland, Hungary or Romania.
One reason might be that we only managed to occupy those countries for a couple of years and were 'a bit busy' by fighting a World War on several fronts while the Soviet occupation lasted for more than 40 years and the Soviet Army and Police had mostly nothing else to do than 'find a final solution for minority XYZ'.
Another reason could be that while the Nazis murdered millions of people (who in return after the war weren't alive enough to complain about their 'special treatment'), the German secret police did not realy have any interest in what political view a random Greek, Pole or Hungarian on the street had - their main interest was maintaining order, keep resources flowing to Germany and, as I mentioned, murdering those minorities they deemed 'subhumans'.
Putin has been using Hitlers playbook from the very start.
@@SA-hh9mv that reminds me of a post I saw near the very beginning of the war where some protesters were holding up signs and there was this person holding up a cardboard sign in the center of the frame saying “all right Putin, let’s skip to the part where you shoot yourself in your bunker“ lol they even predicted the fact that he would go hiding in his bunker in the Ural mountains 😂

I love the Georgian people. The first time it really struck me that Russia was a hostile foreign power was in the war with Georgia. Georgia may be small, but at least they are braver than the cowards in Russia who refuse to take responsibility for enabling Putin's regime.
Russia interfered and invaded Georgia way before they turned on Ukraine. Massive ethnic cleansing by Russian backed separatists and the western world didn't blink. Then Russia invaded in 2008. Invaded Ukraine in 2014 and the west coughed slightly but opened the gas valves. Georgia has been off everyone's radar because it is small, it has no oil, and can be traded off on 'realpolitik'. However, Georgia is one sweet nation, and its people are the most generous Europeans I have come across. I hope that they are not invaded again by the imperialists in order to 'save them' from the decadent west.
and i am there now...
Georgia's problem was that they were not closer to western Europe
So when Putin annexed part of their country we did nothing to help them
This only taught Putin that we weren't willing to oppose him if it didn't directly affect us
putin wasn't elected, and if you say they need to storm Kremlin, what doesn't let putin repeat Tiananmen square?
Maybe the US military bases and equipment on Eastern Europe have played a role on making people rally behind Putin or at least be tolerant towards his policies( and I know that Putin is not a good guy overall).

Roving behind the front line with truck-mounted rocket launchers, they take orders from field commanders and work with other troops, contributing to the war effort despite lacking official support from the military.
The unit is funded by donations and stocked with faulty rounds they repair themselves as well as weapons captured from the enemy. Both are delivered to them by front-line troops.
In their base in the southeastern Zaporizhzhia region, they were preparing 122mm Grad rocket rounds that were later fired by troops from another unit.

Thanks Jake for the update.
Thank you, Jake, for another informative and interesting video. The spirit of the Ukrainian people is amazing, as is that of the protesters Georgia. I only wish we could help all of them more. Although Trump doesn't seem to be a territorial expansionist.

Thats why they both support each other. Trump less openly at the moment. As he needs to be elected first.
@@GCarty80 You missed the point. Trump is no better than any dictators as he himself said he would be on day one of his dictate. Also, if he get elected he would never live office. Period.

WHERE ARE THE F-16s???????????
Pilots are still in training, this takes a lot of time
@@normkeen2597 Yes and the training should have started when the Ukraine pilots asked.
@@lewisgreenway5065 Before beginning training to use something, it's essential to be certain that you will actually give it to them. Then, it takes time to assemble and organize the people and resources. You have to accommodate them in training programs. It's not something they can do with a snap of the fingers; it requires time.
The training to become a pilot in the U.S. military, specifically the Air Force, involves several steps and can take around 1 to 2 years¹²³⁴. Here's a general timeline:
1. **Officer Training**: This includes completing the Officer Training School (OTS), Air Force Academy (AFA), or Air Force Reserve Officer Training Corps (AFROTC)¹².
2. **Undergraduate Pilot Training (UPT)**: This is the actual flight training phase and it lasts about 1 year¹².
3. **Advanced Flight Training**: Upon completion of UPT and receiving an aircraft assignment (also known as seat assignment), pilots continue flight training for the specific aircraft they were assigned. This can take an additional six months to one year¹.
Please note that these durations are approximate and can vary based on a number of factors. Also, after the training, pilots are typically required to serve a certain number of years in active duty service⁴.

@@lewisgreenway5065 They likely did. It takes at least one year to train on a new military aircraft type to learn how to fly it, and at least another 6 months of operational training to learn how to fly it in battle. So almost 2 years is about right for transitioning from Soviet era fighters to the F-16.
Short tern gain, horrendous long-term losses. Russia in a nutshell
Great stuff, Jake. Thanx so much.
That poor old lady seems to have now (to date) survived WWIII as well. 😢
Wow, it seems a lot of similarities between Germany 1939 and Russia 2024! Scary!
I would suggest the similarities are not with Germany in 1939, in terms of Russia's behaviour. Rather, they are like Russia's behaviour 1917-1945 in terms of how they took over Ukraine, the Baltics, and eventually all of east and central Europe. Step by step, treaty by broken, lying treaty, followed by another war, another few provinces, etc.
With America coming up fast. Scary indeed.
Nazi Germany also used excuses for invading such as to protect the German speaking population and false flags.
Even scarier given that Nazi Germany never had nuclear ICBMs.
I hate this bizarro timeline, too. You're the best, Jake. Keep defending the truth. Keep defending democracy. Glory to Ukraine.
i am weeping after seeing them singing in the truck. .... Ukrainians sing always. In times of joy. In times of sadness.

Better to lose an inch of ground than an inch of people. The ground will be re-taken. The bigger problem is Ukraine fighting NATO's war alone, and ruzzia capitalizing on the collective West sleeping.
spot on. Nato is a joke
West sleeping? Billions and billions given to Ukraine. Are you crazy? They've wasted billions on getting Ukrainians and Russians killed. So many families suffering lost ones on both sides but the western governments don't care. They did the same in Afghanistan, Syria and Libya. Stop being so brainwashed.
Exactly right.
Just like Trump wants to do here.
the problems with lessons learned, is that we forget them too too fast.

One has to wonder if this retreat would have happened if MIKE JOHNSON had sent the military aid five months ago. This American is disgusted with politicians, specifically Republicans in the House of Representatives.🙍♀️
@jeannewatkins: Trump has stated that there will be no more aid if he gets elected. The Republicans as a whole have lost my vote and forever I might add. I walked away from the Dems 40+ years ago and never looked back and it's the same with me on the Republicans.
BTW, this is exactly why the Vietnam War ended with the south losing. The Democrat Congress ended all aid including air power to the south. Not that it would have turned out differently in the end.
Why should the USA spend 60 billion in Ukraine and trillions over the world when people can’t get jobs and are homeless and can’t retire here in the USA.
