  • A Russian commander in the field has been filmed talking to his soldiers right before a battle and telling them that they all are about to die. The United States has increased production of the next generation of HIMARS rockers (PrSM) and has freed up inventory to send Ukraine a lot of ATACMS missiles. Shawn Harris is a retired general running for Congress against Marjorie Taylor Green in Georgia.

He also commanded his paras to shoot every POW in Sicily (he didn't want to weaken his combat power at a crucial moment of Operation Husky. which would be fine, had he backed up his troops and took the blame for it once the press got a hold of this fact).
When this got into news, he executed a few his own troops who followed his command and punished dozens who swore they were just following his command just to save his own face and a political career.
Patton was no doubt competent general, but he was craving to be a Napoleon, or Alexander, a godlike figure.
      So was McArthur.
The one great general and a leader was Eisenhower and maybe King for the Navy side.
EDIT: Don't get me started as how he abused the Red Express convoy personnel. Patton was truly something.

It stops us being like Russia too, blindly thinking we're superior, & it reminds us how bad war is. And we have no issues with Turkey today, so why hold a century-old grudge? Thank you so much Jake Broe! I really enjoyed your video creation today. Even though I've seen a few clips you showed, your input about them is so beautiful and well-balanced a perspective. Especially the economic (or lack thereof) inside russia.
I saw a tweet about the russian soldiers graves being concreted over, but had not heard as much detail as you gave us. And I glimpsed the start of the russian soldiers "pep-talk"... oh my gosh, they are being honest with them about them going to die! Sadly we many of us know from soviet times in our families, that russia will definitely forget them, and no flowers etc., etc., because ussr-russia didn't even know where its previously imprisoned were after WW2. They just finally informed a few families in the lat 1960s that they were dead, many were still alive but russia offered them up to fight under British Command. They lost track of their "own", even though they were not ethnic russians. So who exactly is that commander speaking to, are they even ethnic russians or some other ethnicities inside the rf that will definitely not matter to russia and its meat machine?
I did really love the feel good clip at the end. I've seen that a few times on Ukraine-focused YT channels, and it is great to keep seeing the very nature of typical Ukrainian people. Kind, civilised, and giving to those who truly deserve such kindness. And after Ukraine's victory, we will all see this in real life, I'm sure.
