Far too often I have people reach out to me with some combination of unreasonable expectation or unreasonable combination of parts. It’s just not the path to success.
I agree 100 with this video. If it’s your first turbo LS you will have more fun, and be further ahead if you stick to a simple build, and shoot for a 500whp target give or take. The car will be plenty fast and will make enough power to ruin everything behind it so you’ll have lots of things to upgrade and spend money on. Nice video Ryan. Thanks for the knowledge.
@@1411MEDIA something off the showroom floor that makes 500 fly wheel horsepower and weighs 4500lbs isn’t anywhere near as fast as a 500whp 3000lb or even 4000lb car or small truck. It’s a total eyes bigger than your stomach situation.
I appreciate Btr for responding with real actual results , I wanted to buy their IM and they told me I needed to spin alot more Rpm to see gains and would lose low range torque so with a turbo You need all the torque down low for better spooling and can turn up the boost up top
Ever since dodge started handing out 700hp with a warranty and heated seats that is now the bench mark for a street car. So turbo LS street cars have to at least make 700hp.

Thing is you can buy something off the showroom floor that has 500hp. Most guys that build turbo LS wanna shoot for 1000hp or as close as they can
