What a tragic and unjust ending to one of the most important people in all of football and that just superb team. Thanks Tifo for always giving everyone great information that gets forgotten through time
i realize it's kinda off topic but does anyone know of a good website to watch new tv shows online ?
@Forest Milo i use flixzone. Just google for it =)
@Clayton Jesus Definitely, been using Flixzone for since march myself =)
@Clayton Jesus Thank you, I went there and it seems like a nice service :) I appreciate it!
@Forest Milo happy to help :)
I live for football videos like this. Absolutely loved it. Brilliant work Tifo.
A Man live for something else. Become a nationalist
Sean Joyce no way. Football is life. Nothing else comes close.
Maybe cosmology. Or music.
A Man all of NASA pictures of planets, Jupiter mars etc are all composites , not actually photographs. Just go look at them, they are 100% fake
Sean Joyce to each his own
Someone should make a movie about this !!
That's some lame ass background behind LFC emblem
lol they had it on their twitter account for some time :D
@@user-iv1nx5ik5f What's lame about standing up for your fellow human beings? I'd say that's one of the bravest thing a person can do
@@linusminus3 don't get butt hurt all I said was the background was lame never did I bash anyone
@@user-iv1nx5ik5f Do you know what that background stands for?
Many many thanks from a Torino fan. Ernest and our lads shall never be forgotten.
GRANDE TORINO PER SEMPRE
Wow. That was absolutely fantastic. What an awful way to end a seriously good era for Torino.
Right up there with the Busby Babes tragedy and Chapo's tragedy in Brazil.
A Sir Matt Busby video would be a fantastic one to do.
One of the best analytical football channels on CZcams.
others ?
The best*
And the most underrated!
"One of" - how many are there?
Hi Tifo massive fan from Ireland here. If you were planning on continuing this series of great unknown football figures I was wondering if you could do a video on 'Don Patricio' Patrick O'Connell, the man who captained Manchester United during WW1 and as a manager guided Real Betis to their one and only la liga title. Believe it or not he also saved Barcelona from extinction during the 30's. Craziest part of his story is that he died penniless and was buried in a unmarked grave in London. He was a true Irish footballing pioneer and I think more people should hear his story. Thanks.
THIS PLEASE
They’ve done it!
As a Hungarian football lover, it really made me happy that you covered one of our grates. Thank you very much, I really appreciate your effort!
Time to fire up Football Manager let's recreate this formation lads.
Not far off what Bielsa is doing at Leeds United!
Aye basically a 2323 innit, something Pep would do at times
More like a modern 3-4-3, the way the it was described in the video, anyway. Pressing very high up the pitch with the CMs and WBs pushing high up the pitch to create overloads on the opposition defence. Lots of momement, lots of quick passing. I'm not sure if it originally had one, but I'd imagine it would be really interesting with a libero who acts as a pivot for recycling the ball just ahead of the center circle when on the attack.
Amazing video. It's sad that since the European Cup/Champions League started in the 50s, Grande Torino lost their opportunity to show the world how good they really were. It's possible it would've been Torino and not Real Madrid with Di Stefano and Puskas that dominated the European Cup during the 50s. One of the saddest football stories.
Could of also been Manchester United instead of Real Madrid since United had players like Bill Foulkes (forgotten legend and played his whole career at United), Duncan Edwards, Bobby Charlton, Dennis Viollet (scored over 100 goals for United) , Tommy Taylor (scored over 100 goals for United before dying in '58).. for those who don't know anything about the past about United.
Well the Munich Air disaster happened in 1958 so that's a slightly different period. Maybe they would've dominated from 58 and during the 60's
Maybe a video on Leeds under Bielsa
I agree
I swear to God if there is anything close to perfection its you guys , I love TIFO and I will always pray for your success, thanks for such wonderful videos.
Thanks from a granata fan.
Grande Torino always in our hearts.
Absolutely brilliant work! Really sad ending to his life :(
Phenomenal video once again lads, I absolutely adore these history videos - it's easy for people to often forget that some of football's greatest ever players and managers came before the glitz and glamour of modern day football
Keep the videos coming! 🙌
On todays football history books, people forget the role of Hungary in the game. A forgoten and important football nation. Just a example that the team that broke Real Madrid winning streak in the euro cup, was coached by a Hungarian (benfica). And Hungary national team was top class. They are from a long gone football era, in which, the game wasnt a industry only money making like today.
I agree back then only class determined who were the best, but its a shame hungarian football today has dissapeared of the map, btw Bella Gutman was an excepcional manager and tactician, the real madrid team you talk about is the one that won 5 euro cups in a row right? With Di Stefano?
@@miguelgomes2542exactly
@@miguelgomes2542 Bella Gutman managed my team in Brazil, São Paulo.
He is, to this day, one of the most influential figures in the history of the sport in my country when it comes to tactical inovations of that era.
Brazilian football owes a lot to him.
Legend.
as soon as the words “grande torino” were uttered i knew how this was ending, may they all rest in peace
Absolutely brilliant. Fantastic. Been a football fan my whole life and had somehow not heard of this legend. Thanks again tifo 😄
This is heartwarming and heartbreaking at the same time a man who overcame nothing adversity through hard work and genius. A lasting legacy no matter how tragically his life and that of his team was cut short
I am embarrassed that I never heard of him because he made an amazing impact to the playing style in football
Crazy how good this video is, Keep doing these videos about people who have been forgotten
Have learnt so much watching your videos. Thankyou tifo
Do one about Laszlo Kubala. The reason for the Nou Camp and inventor of the direct free kick. He was also about to fly with Torino and play for them until his son became ill and he pulled out. This was a great video, and makes you wonder how differently footballing history could’ve planned out if various things hadn’t happened. This, the Hungarian revolution and the Munich air disaster to name a few
Forgotten once but forgotten no more
Amazing work Tifo to bring to light such an under appreciated figure of world football.
Great video as always, one of the best football channels in CZcams, could you do a full video on the Great Torino team?
Goosebumps everywhere, Thank you for telling us about him Guys. People like them should never be forgotten.
The story was so intriguing...I had to hear twice on the spin 🤩🤩👌👌🙌
incredible history
How is this not a movie yet?? Could be an academy award winning sport biopic!
Well done! He should be more well known (as should Tifo).
Yep, shed a tear.
Side note if anyone does go to Budapest I do recommend the synagogue there. A great memorial to the holocaust from the Nazi occupation. And the shoes on the Danube as well but go there at night when they have the candles lit
I'd love more of these history videos this is why I love football
Best series going at the minute, the like to dislike ratio says it all
Brilliant story.
Hungarian football in this time is incredible, just imagine if he had become the manager of hungary in 1954 they might have won that world cup against West Germany and would have been a great story has he was kept in a labour camp
You give me so much football knowledge. For someone who wants to become a manager one day. Keep enlightening people. Great video
That's something every football fan should know .
Sad that i know the tragic end of the story, but not the inspiring story itself. Great work
These videos are fantastic. You should think about creating one on the life and impact of William Garbutt - probably the most important English figure is Serie A history, and also the reason that managers in Italy often go by the nickname "Mister". His story is not well known and you would certainly be doing a great service to tell it!
These videos really do make my day 😃😃.. thanks tifo football
Brilliant! I'll share it on Twitter tomorrow!
The Invincibles of the Grande Torino
Brilliant! Absolutely loved this!
Bless you guys for sharing this knowledge.
This channel inspired me into starting coaching
amazing story thanks for letting us about this. love this channel
Watching this video, I notice that Erbstein's tactics are actually very similar to present and modern tactics!
Football does not seem to circumvent the essential presets of life: everything, including football, eventually goes back to its roots!
Totally loved this. Please come up with more videos from the past.
You do a great work by explaining the beauty behind the tactics and its history.this helps to truly understand the football as a game.thank you very much not as a lover of your videos but as a football lover
I'm an Inter fan and love documentaries as well, your videos are amazing, you put so much passion on them, the details, the narrative and graphics are amazing. Calcio is above the club and fandom. The love for the game is above the club you cheer for. You transmit that though your videos and to me that has no price.
From El Salvador, C.A. Thank you very much.
Ivan.
WOW! Thats why i love this channel.
Wow, I've never heard of such a story or this great manager. Thanks so much Tifo, something new I learnt today 😆😆 awesome work btw, keep it up!
Is there a movie based on this ? or a documentary? if not, its high time someone brought this story to the world of cinema. incredible.. absolutely incredible! ♥️💔
This could make a great series no doubt
netflix dont like sport drama
Teguh Lumban-Gaol

Keep up the great work guys, your videos are brilliant
Genius! Keep doing these videos.
Thanks to you and your wonderful vids I'm so much more knowledgeable person with respect to football. And not just bounded to few leagues.
Thanks Tifo!!😊😊😊
Really love your video, not too long but very informative and inspiring👍
@Tifo football today i heard about grande torino for the first time and my thought process was ill look if tifo already made a video about them. As usual i wasnt dissapointes. The best football channel on ytube :)
A really great video, I just wish tragic ends like these never happen to anyone that said keep these types of videos coming.
Beautiful video! ❤️🙏😢
Do one fred spiksley he was a footballer for sheffield wednesday and he scored one of the quickest goals in the fa cup final he was also kept as a POW in Germany while he was coaching in Germany.
Ernő Erbstein Ernő's memory continues to live in both Hungary and Europe! This year we re-founded the once popular Budapest Athletic Club, nicknamed BAK, where Erbstein spent his football career. As president of the club, I am pleased to announce that next year we will launch the Egri Erbstein Silverball Cup, which was the predecessor of the Hungarian Cup in the early 1900s. We also want to pay tribute to the victims of the Superga tragedy on the 70th anniversary.
Absolutely brilliant. I'm going off to get that book now 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟
Wow... thanks TIFO!
Always watching your videos , support always 👌
As always the best football channel on CZcams ❤
a fan since umaxit
Another class video 👍
I saw a new world cup after discovering this channel
Great job !!!
Love this channel!
Great video and amazing music choice
Great vid. Small spelling mistake in the word realised on the slide where Erbstein returns to Torino
Great video, tragic story.
Great video
Such a great video, about Erbstein. Gladly I'd watched this one.
this is a very great shit. again, you won me with your content
What a story, my god
Tifo History uploads is bae ❤
Edit: This was a masterpiece! What a story, was almost about to let one drop roll out. Don't know much about Italian football but I'm subscribed to the BEST football related channel on CZcams to sometimes help with me with that. 😅
Do Paulino Alcantara. The FC Barcelona Legend
The quality of your videos is one of the reasons that I have your notifications on
Wow. Just wow
Amazing story! ❤️⚽️
Without question, one of the greatest managers ever...and he may have only been getting started.
Tifo, could you maybe make a video about Red Star Belgrade? We have won against Red Bull Salzburg in the playoffs and are now playing champions league football, every game so far in the league has been won and last year we have reached the round of 16 in the euro league.
4 years ago we could have only dreamt about the euro league but now we are playing champions league football.
I think our coach Vladan Milojevic has done a outstanding job transforming our team.
beautiful work, you really know what you are doing, keep up the good work. Can you make a video about Larbi Benbarek
. it has been said he was The Pele of his era. thanks.
Wow. Amazing video such a bad ending. May their souls rest in eternal peace
Nice summary. Probably a legend. His death is tragic but no doubt Torino would be in the same level as Juve if he's still alive then.
Information galore 💓💓one error though , realsied 😂
Make a video about the incredible story of aek athens
He sounds like my kind of guy as a scientist fascinated with football theory
