When you're already having to pull timing and limit boost to keep from blowing off the tires there's no need for a lot of the stuff lower power gas builds get in the weeds over. A little parasitic loss is nothing when the turbo is in it's efficiency range with plenty left. Stout enough to live is the main priority

Ever think about explaining turbos/blowers/motors with a quick video on pump curves or do you think it would confuse too many people that aren’t familiar with it? Would be great to explain what you mean when you say efficiencies and if something is in a good spot. Be it for power and flow or life/longevity then again if you’re in the right spot you’re getting both. I’m sure you don’t want to give up too many secrets, I’m very familiar being in the industry i work in but would love to hear how you apply it to moving air through a motor. You can use E98/100 to “intercool” the cold side by putting a nitrous fuel solenoid spraying 150-200 shot of fuel (tapped off your pressurized fuel injector loop) between the turbo and the throttle body set to turn “on” at full throttle...you can adjust your full throttle fuel map and the O2 sensors will adjust afr to compensate for the additional fuel...in addition to dropping inlet air temps, you also have the added benefit of reducing the duty cycle of your single injectors...all for a fraction of the weight of a conventional air/air or air/water intercooler.

Yes, matching a turbo/turbos to get the best efficiency at your power point is a real black art. Makes me wonder why more people don't put a one size up turbo and then control the output as you have done here. Surely an air to air HX is a better option for something that will do mostly street driving? Be interesting to see the difference in numbers between the two methods.
