    I have a Dart 632. Dual 4-barrel. The simplicity of producing 1,000 hp with just cubes, no efi, no boost, etc. Is priceless.

    I watched your video the other day when you asked the fans what you want to show us, my opinion is show us everything, I don’t know a single thing about building motors. I love everything you are showing us on how things work or how they go back together. That sucks about your motor in the wagon!!! I can’t believe the rods shattered like they did. Please keep doing what your doing with the channel, have a great weekend to the Morris family and to you Steve.

    Great stuff Steve. I love your explanations of the various aspects of race engines, I have learned a bunch. BTW that 632 sounds like it could use a bigger cam; lots of cubes, good heads and plenty of bottom end strength, since you spun it to ~7300. Although, I will admit that my default stance is usually "more cam".

      @josephschaefer9163 Před 2 lety

      @@paulcopeland9035 The long stroke of a 632 means the rods are long. This makes the wrist pin high on the piston, which means thin ring pack, which means you can't make big power with boost. Deck plates give the piston more room

For example, bb Chevy street engines that can be bought in the 20k range. Std deck height, option to fit under a stock hood. I love the super rad builds, but it would be cool see a build that myself, and hopefully others could say, dang, I can afford a SM motor, seriously I need something for my Malibu 👍
