Very well said. Ive never engage in wars myself and I will never tarnish BTS's name. My issue is with these awards and how they're run. Its just not a good look when theres so much corruption.

The artist who takes the award knowing they are not eligible just shows how desperate the group is in this case BP had no business even being nominated, but they are desperate for any award task tsk, pathetic. MTV is a flaming joke. The attendance at the award show was incredibly pathetic. They thought using BP would bring viewership but there is no substitute for BTS and the viewership that night was nauseatingly low. The venue was half empty. Smells fishy to me. Sometimes you don’t always get what you pay for. I have o respect for the group that won without needed votes.

They hate BTS because they 1) Can't capitalize on their success and 2) Have no real power or influence over them, so they deny them out of spite.
It's not for no reason, but because BTS is like a "one-man army". They don't rely on radio play, bundles, reality shows and music industry promo bcs everything is run and promoted by Hybe and Army (for free) alone = they don't get much merit and yes, they're jealous. They also just don't want non-American, non-white artist to win
they hate bts cuz they have such a powerful impact on the world, they fear armies cuz they know if anything happened to bts armies will fight for it and if something happened with armies, bts will fight over it ( we all know the james corden incident )
Finally someone is talking about yg's media games. I noticed a long time ago how dirty they play with "this" group. for the past 5 years, they have been rigging their comebacks to bts comebacks to play out "the ultimate fight between two giants". I often saw articles from yg with the headings "this" group
broke the bts record, "this" group is more popular than bts, the female version of bts" and the like. they even did a stadium tour to make headlines with bts again (and the stadiums not even sold out).
I never hated other groups, I don't care about them. but the way "this" group is always shoved next to bts, and "this" girls say that they suffered so much and achieved everything on their own, I just feel sick of them. when "this" group talks about how
hard they worked on their last album, I laugh. they are not artists, they are not on fire with music, putting them on a par with bts, it humiliates the guys as people of art. I'm sorry if this seems rude to you, it just boiled.

And they were even caught by the media but those articles were never spread coz they did not wanted the rumours to end . They keep on exploitating BTS. Those fake edits of tae and jennie keep blowing up from somewhere even tho nobody actually saw them together, they actually never even had any interaction in award shows as well.
The music and award show industry is beyond corrupt and disgusting. I don’t think that will ever change. The VMAs are the lowest on the totem pole and the VMAs NEED BTS for ratings and they know it. If BTS isn’t attending they know their ratings are not there. I love the fact that BTS did not send a thank you video. They didn’t deserve the acknowledgment and BTS let them know it. 💜🙌🏼

The biggest indicator for me is the fact that BTS won Group of the Year but lost everything else. If the VMAs really were fan voted and stayed true to that, how did Blinks lose in votings for the *biggest and most important* award, but won the others? How did ARMYs go against other groups and win for that award, but somehow our votes fell short for other minor awards? All of us were voting for every category. So the only conclusion is that MTV used their fine print rules and made BP win their awards because of YG - but then when they tried giving Group of the Year to the girls, they realized *people would know* that they're a scam (An inactive group winning GOTY without any releases, wow) so they said, "Hey, it's impossible for BTS to lose here because we'd lose credibility, but we could rob of them of every other minor award and give that to BP so let's do that."

Hello everyone! Sorry if the video is rant heavy! I love BTS and it hurts to see them being treated badly and unfairly. They represent hard work and honesty, something rarely found today. I also just want a healthy environment, where everyone competes in an honest manner with the same starting point. I do not want to cause any wars or arguing, i just had to get certain things off my chest because we as ARMY do put in a lot of time, effort and heart into things, which makes it worse when you see how the corporations and industry reciprocate.
I also do not like the VMA’s because they are greedy, unethical and at the end of the day not credible. Last but not least, my comments are aimed and VMA’s not the artists themselves. I’ll be honest, i didn’t even know who JH was before this 😅 I just don’t listen to other groups or artists really. Nothing wrong with doing so but that’s just me! Maybe you should never react to them because their fans are going to eat you up. When I tried to get into a gg I listened to some songs but they are not for me. I get bored with groups who stick with same girl crush concept. I only believe in artists who are like BTS who keep improving themselves and care about their art. The other group is more of a visual group because that's what their fans say every time about them. It's more brand deals for them than musics. I don't believe in spending money on artists who only use their fame and not improving their music quality. I like artists who can at least write their own songs to feel more relatable, not having the company put words in their mouths.

We held the BTS MV awards again this year lol. Everyone expected the cheating and were surprised we won at the end. Karma is an Army.

YG (the company that manages the Blackpink group) planned their comeback based on vmas precisely for them to perform and win the awards that BTS was competing for (and they were winning in all categories) vmas practically is: whoever will perform wins award, simple. They gave the rightful award to BTS as group of the year because they saw they fucked up. Army is tired of the rotten media, companies like YG wanting to benefit from the boys, thank you for them being away from the USA in the meantime with the group break.
bts is making history for being true and staying true to who they are as artists :) and everyone should understand that music doesn't come from money, labels, etc. It comes from the heart and what you believe you as an artist, group etc want to release to the world and bts have all on their own done that!
They are the only artists I am respecting beyond everything because they are not for showing. They are the true artists love their job and passion. So they don't need every awords to prove their talent. Army knows them well. Scammers will keep doing this for them continuesly. But BTS will do their thing continuesly too. We as a Army always support them no matter what.💜️
As a US citizen it is not just the music industry that is like this.....but we keep fighting. Hopefully one day the spell will be broken, but until then we will keep being the ARMY that BTS has taught us to be.

And the winner is………….We are sorry to report that upon investigation none of the above nominees qualified as as an award show…..but we do have a new category so they will not go home empty handed……UAAs and that winner is the Grammys(underhanded assholes awards) CONGRATULATIONS 🏆
I'm just happy abt the fact that all this has done is to prove that none of the awards BTS won can be discredited, cuz it was all genuine and based on their efforts alone. It just shows the power of BTS and army that ppl are scared and change rules to prevent them from winning.
When group of the year was declared as *BP*, I was in a class with my best friend who's also army, we were sitting at the last bench and istg we both looked at it and laughed and everyone started looking at us because we knew it was rigged and moments later BTS was declared as group of the year and literally it may be armypathy but we both said at the same time *karma is an army*, like the second hand embarassment literally, oof it was a wil day on twitter.

I also don't understand how, as an artist, you say yes to a prize of which you know it's not really yours. I have to say this time I got pissed off, specifically in the 'Group of The year category' because even if I love PB those nominations don't make sense it all. Like how can they be nominated for that without releasing music for 2 years and having a big impact like the other nominated artists? literally Blink was crying a month ago because they missed them so much.. like what (?) 😭 VMAs should nominated them for the next year bc that was the fair and logical thing to do but ok..
Anyways, I already knew they were going to the finals bc they were attending and they have a big fandom. I also think it was totally a last minute change. And even if Bangtan weren't going to win, we all know that BTS is the real winner and the ones who deserved that award.
For the Metaverse award I was actually rooting for Ariana grande, for the kpop category I have no words, like BTS should won but it was more "understandable" since Lisa solo did met the nomination criteria, had a good impact and she attended.

It is actually good that BTS doesn't go to VMA's anymore. Because if BTS goes, ARMY will also go. That'll help with ticket sale for VMA's award show. It's nothing for BTS to donate 1 award rather than supporting such scammers.

I actually know about this fact long time ago from other artists; I never take this award seriously. I am glad someone is actually talking about it. They got nominated group of the year without album released so we already knew what was up.
I don't watch those award shows coming out of the USA as I know how fake and disorganised they all are. TI did watch the billboard and American music awards due to BTS just to compare the to music award show's from other places. Oh my goodness me, how boring, badly put together and tacty they all are. No real professionalism.
I knew about the voting issue being as fake a feck. As I knew about the 'hidden' disclaimer. Here in the UK that 'hidden' disclaimer would not stand up in a court of law. We have strict laws here and that so called award show would receive massive fine's. I never realised it was also a attendance show though.

I remember I and all army on Twitter we were so pissed and laughing at the same time because nothing made any sense like we knew it's going to be a rigged award because some gp got nominated without releasing any music for 2 years for the GROUP OF THE YEAR which make no sense but anyways we had the great laugh at the end and I remember we were having a streaming party at that time and we were running our own award show the boracarpet so we had fun despite of whatever of corruption was happening
Actually, I am kinda THAT KPOP GROUP's fan too. I was so surprised that they were going to perform at VMAs. I thought okaay just performance. But they won 2 awards. I WAS SOOO SHOCKED, even though I was their fan. Because I knew that they cannot win those awards. It is true that they did not release any group song for the last 2 years. They were kinda inactive. idk its just weird.

I’m not annoyed at all that Blackpink won best metaverse performance and Lisa won best kpop. I am their fan too (I loved their pink venom performance at the vmas too) even if I would have preferred BTS to win. But them winning group of the year would have been absurd as they’ve been inactive for a long time, and is an example of how the VMAs give awards to people who attend rather than who gets the most votes. And then BTS was announced to be the actual winner, which supports this even more. Another example is Jack Harlow winning song of the summer over left and right. I know for a fact that left and right got the most votes, so it really does expose the corruption.

It's funny because I have voted for BTS on Billboard but I didn't vote on the VMA's. Part of the reason is VMA's voting page stated that I had to vote via twitter and had to have at least 10 followers to vote. That bothered me because why would that be needed to vote? Now I know why - they are using voters for data mining.
Awards shows always ALWAYS do these things... Only the one paying is really now a days is the one winning.
the answer to all these questions about why is media doing what they're doing is simple: MONEY. The attendance awards purpose: make money, and make headlines

BTS won the heart of people through their own way doing vlogs since their debuts, creating their own variety show, developpong their own app and plateform. And why BTS have done all this it is because since the beginning they have learnt how disapointing and disrespectful can be the whole music industry and everything that gravitates around it. It was so infuriating to watch this video and also so sad to point the fact that the backlash BTS has endured since their debut keep going even when all this corrupted people know that BTS are the biggest group in the World but they don't want to recognize it.
It would be fun if this video was airing in worldwide news to unblindfoled people. But it wouldn't be a nice mindset even if a part of me would like it.

unfortunately, growing up as a pop culture nut and having been scouted as a child and being cast in a tv show at a young age (but my mom who was a single parent couldn't afford the immense traveling expenses it took to fully do it) in america i'm fully aware how corrupt the industry and how many artist and actors themselves can be completely corrupted by it as well
this is why i'm personally very careful as to what to support and why i like bts so much because they are for sure a bright spot in such a dark industry
i still think the boys suffer a lot because of it though and i really FEEL for them because they always try their best and be genuine and not resort to dirty tricks but because of that they get disrespected a lot (and racism etc. obviously)
all i can say is like myself, be very careful who and what you support in the industry because a lot of people are not privy to all these tricks so if you are, please try to support the right things/people
it may not make a huge difference but army itself is huge so the most we can combat this, the better
also, i do want to point out though the vmas are not known as professional just like the OP of the video said it's known as probably the biggest award show in america
obviously award shows have gone down in popularity now but i remember everyone would watch vmas for their iconic moments and it really would be one of the only award shows seriously talked about by everyone around you

That award show made a history, a historic joke that I've laughed at every time I saw this boracity's video. They lowered the value of their awards and made their guest artists, especially "that group", become clowns. In my country, Vietnam, "that group" and their company were criticized for "dealing awards", and it happened because the netizen didn't know the shameless face of that award show (Although V-army knew that winners would be chosen by the sponsors.)
P/s: The reason why "that group" were criticized because of faking achievements that their fans faked the first 24h achievement to surpass the Butter's achievement. And this happened not once.

I laughed when that 4 girl-group was shown and Shiki was like "Who are they?" 🤣their company is so cunning they ride on BTS' popularity each opportunity they get to promote these girls or their songs.
PS: I have nothing against these girls. I think they're good people but their company and its media play sucks.

These award show feels like child's play. The ones that my kids used to play. Give award to whoever they like, sometimes bicker with each other if they cannot achieve agreement with the winners. But it is acceptable since they are kids but this is global awards...it is so disappointing.

After i become an ARMY i got to know how much corrupts & bad music industry is it!!! I was shocked when they (BP)won award in VMA (i dont hate them ) but Vma did very wrong bcz that group didnt won it bcz they were not active more then 2 years , but about our BOYS they were always active & even we voted more then other fans, we all ARMYs knew that our boys will win more . Im not hating Blackpink but it was wrong with our boys :( & yeh this is why i hate VMA!!!!!
Since I live closeby, there were 4 BTS nominations, and Taehyung was closeby in NYC at the time, I kept wondering whether to go. Luckily, parking in Newark was impossible to book, VMA tickets very expensive, and even buses wouldn’t work. When I tried watching it on tv, I quickly turned it off-very loud, really garish decorations & lighting, kind of fake-fans swaying (in my opinion), and even the choreos I didn’t like! Very glad now I didn’t go! 😖 😎 I wonder if Taehyung knew not to attend because of all these strange, questionable ways of choosing winners.💜

This has always been the way. The lineup always consists of the winners. from the Grammys all the up to the newer awards. MTV used to be strictly for the people. now since they get corporatized its changes. The American awards will have to experience what the MMA and the Gaons did, BTS boycotting the awards thus they hit in the pockets, losing the money they could have made if BTS had showed up. industries don't have faith in their artists so, they have to stack the deck.

OMG, after the Radio play video I was already so disappointed in the industry but this takes the cake😡. I could not have imagined that things like this are going on. I always believed that Fan voting would decide the awards. Now I know better.

I think this should teach us for future participation on any award show , if bts will be there we will vote and if not we better ignore these awards shows . It's literally unfair how millions armys worked on votes and result of it just disappointing for once again . I am rly happy for our boys being in global superstars but I would feel better if they would never step in to American market cuz that market is one big corruption .
