As in 'outrageously' funny! Am a Canadian grandma with a lifelong commitment to music and the dance arts. Have lived thru' decades of diverse groups, artists beginning with the Beatles with whom I was the equivalent of ARMY. I've learned to disregard the MSM opinions as far as my own assessment of BTS is concerned. They have brought me the same joy and a return to the good feelings I experienced back in the 60's-70's. However there is more. BTS have generated a deep love (yes love) & caring fondness for them as wonderful human beings who have shared themselves in so many ways bringing kindness and compassion to a large segment of society. The heartless & purely mercenary, exploitative American music industry has disgusted me thoroughly as I've seen 'foreign' ginormous talent shunned, & suppressed to the detriment of audiences worldwide. I've completely given up on all 'award shows' even as I realize they are a right of passage for artists as they try and move up in their careers. My hope is that even as JK is being manipulated by- yes BangPD - & HYBE America, he doesn't lose the wonderful traits & instincts which brought him to this stratosphere of stardom. ARMY you are doing an amazing job calling out the unfairness and blatant lies in the industry.

I guess you couldn't recognize her but she is megan thee stallion who bts collaborated with for butter. It happens. She literally had to get is a legal lawsuit against her own company (which didn't want her to collaborate with the tannies) in order to collab with BTS because she is a huge fan of them and loves them. I haven't watched the full video yet but just paused and wrote this.

Please do react to the video that came before the one the contract renewal video. It's probably my favorite of her videos. In that video, she discussed a topic regarding BTS's solo promotions and I can only praise her for making the video because it was a topic that needed to be addressed and discussed. Every word she said, were the exact thoughts and feelings I had when I watched it. You don't have to do it now, just do it when you can get around to it.
I do love the contract renewal video, as well. It was a discussion that I didn't know I needed. I love Bora's videos. The are very sensible regarding BTS and their activities and actions. We need more people like her in this world.
Same. Unfortunately there're still a lot of people making assumptions about Hybe and the different types of solo promotions instead of trusting that the guys themselves chose which way they wanted to go with their own projects. 💜
@@imajinallthepurple I know. I see it so much that it often annoys me. I trust that the guys knew what they were doing and that Hybe and Big Hit promoted them accordingly. Also, it's not Jungkook's fault that he has a voice that goes really well with mainstream pop. Of course Hybe will promote him accordingly to that style of music.
Imagine they wish BTS to disband so that other groups will have a "chance" as if they're telling us BTS is hindering their faves' success. They didn't realize their faves are already successful. It may not be as the same level as BTS but they are successful. The problem is, they want to overthrow BTS so their faves can replace them on top. Yeah right, but that's not how it works in the music industry. Taking that from jealous kpoppers is not surprising but recently I saw comments/ posts from supposedly armys but they're multi-stan wanting their other chosen group to win the MAMA daesang because "they worked hard this year and they deserve it more". Giving a hint to other ARMYs to "give others a chance" thus further suggesting not to vote for BTS. The nerve. THE NERVE. I still can't forget how the 21+ fandoms ganged up on JK in Mnet countdown. And the same jealous kpoppers threw hate on Jimin, RM, V and recently with Jin.
I don't know with multi-stans but ARMYs didn't ask any fandoms before to give way so BTS will have a chance at getting a daesang. NOPE. BTS, thru their blood, sweat, and tears managed to crawl their way up against the giants from the big 3 companies, and against the western artists, with the strong support from ARMY and without any help from anyone outside their label.. They held on tight despite the hate, racism, prejudice and hardships they faced. We've gone thru all sorts of battle to get our boys where they are now and here we are, these noobs are asking us, the ARMYs, to hand their faves' success in a silver platter. I don't know whether I'd be annoyed or I'd laugh but it's hella funny.
It's so low brow to even say oh pleading don't vote for BTS let someone else have a chance. Well hold on a minute you don't ask other's to stop working hard or ask their fans to not support them just because you know that group are super talented and worked hard and deserve to win. Those people never like it we said the same to them, they really are warped or simple minded.
BTS build your own stadium in Korea. Then you can do residency performances until the end of time! 💜

Tbf the same can be said about other groups as well who have also renewed their contracts while also being soloists, but I do agree that BTS is one of those groups that stays together for a long time.
It’s so funny to watch the fans of other groups praying for BTS’s downfall, because not only would that not help their “faves” but it would actually hurt them- think about how hollow a victory it would be to be named #1 by default, not because you earned it.

Industry dominates the media. Most of this media play is from competitors and Antis pretending to be ARMY. Hopefully this purge process will have wrung out all the clout chasers. I do see some return of past BTS reactors after a long hiatus. I don't even bother with them as much unless they give a ligit excuse (remember to check their history & if they continue to react to the competition during that time).

BTS made HYBE !! They deserve massive extraordinary recognition via their new contra and permanent legacy in the INTERNATIONAL hall of fame (if there is such a thing) rather than some paltry Grammy or other awards. They are simply over and above all of them !

25:58 im sure a lot of newer armys like shiki have no idea who these people are too. i think it's time for boracity to make a video highlighting all these problematic trashy people that have used bts to increase their exposure and then later on said "we need fresh faces in kpop" because BTS has started to dominate both SK & western music industry
And this is why most army's support the other HYBE artists too. Because they know BTS benefits too, they own stocks and they are kinda like higer ups there. Plus they know HYBE is the best company when it comes to management, no company is good in terms of capital and money hunger, but we all know who the chairman is and who the biggest group is. They have a voice on HYBE. HYBE is BTS, that's why you see the BTS members always promoting all the other HYBE groups on their social media (tik tok, instagram, etc.), because they love what they created and they earn money from the promotion of these groups.
(i know there's some armys that are very conservative and are "BTS only", but a lot of these fans are actually very toxic and don't even aknowledge the achievements of the other HYBE groups)
This is a very important point - the cross-supporting of other groups...not only those under the Hybe label. Doing dance challenges with SM % JYP members elevates them above the fractious elements of the music industry and contributes even more to their remarkable legacy.
