SO EVERYTIME SOMEONE WANTED TO LEAVE NIGHTVALE THEY ENTERED ANOTHER NIGHTVALE THATS SLIGHTLY THE SAME KINGCITY WAS ANOTHER NIGHTVALE EVERYTHING IS NIGHTVALE
loozmater
desert bluffs is a night vale!! THATS WHY KEVIN IS SO SIMILAR TO CECIL (look wise)
Nightvale exists in Michigan confirmed!
Miss Fluffy and didn't Huntokar reference one of the shattered realities where a "local radio announcer fought off, and ultimately lost against an evil invading entity? Kevin is a fractured (in more ways than one...) Cecil
MacTechG4 omg this actually made me cry a little. idk why. just a bit emotional tonight I guess
We are night vale
So... Desert Bluffs was a version of Night Vale that the Distant Prince took to play with. Huh. That answers that.
Carrie Putnam that’s....debatable, because it seems that desert bluffs is it’s own place. But that wouldn’t surprise me...but wouldn’t that make the distant prince the smiling god?
@@redrasegarden
I feel like this holds water but it is The smiling God and not the distant Prince, after all the smiling God is a light and the distant Prince is only interested in dark places. It would be a good explanation for why there are so many similarities between the two. Like Kevin being described as a double of Cecil, or old lady Josephina in desert bluffs
Chatooka Music I see. Very interesting
The Cecil who would not listen must be our Cecil.
The Cecil who listened but could not comprehend must be the Cecil under lane 5 of the Desert Flower Bowling Alley.
The Cecil who tried so hard and failed must be Kevin.
And the Cecil who was gone long before she was there? Perhaps the young Cecil in the tapes. Or perhaps even... Carlos. There is only night vale, not an outside world, so Carlos must be from a mirror night vale. Since he left that night vale you could say he was gone as far as she was concerned.
Are you suggesting Cecil is in love with himself, and Carlos is in love with himself?
Actually she says he "He (Cecil) marries his own ending (Carlos)" at one point so Carlos is something else entirely. And not exactly human at that.
There is not only Nightvale. There is much more outside Nightvale. However, one Nightvale was completely removed from it's universe just before nuclear annihilation.
All the other Nightvales are still somehow connected to their worlds just...difficult to enter and difficult to leave.
I know Im three years late but maybe the Cecile who was long gone before she was there is leanord?
I think our Cecil is actually the one that listened but could not comprehend. Huntokar has come to him before, and spoken to him, but he couldn't understand her. He's never refused to listen, although there have been times he's run away afraid.
you could make a religious out of thi-
*no, don't*
oh my god that reference :D
Ten Commendements of this New religion :
- NO WHEAT AND WHEAT BY PRODUCTS
-All hail the mighty glow cloud
-Dogs are not allowed in the dog park
-If you see something, say nothing and drink to forget
-Life is ultimately meaningless so who cares anyway
-SHUT UP *STEVE CARLSBURG*
-If someone says that Carlos isn't perfect, kill them with fire
-Guns don't kill people !
-If you say that guns kill people one more time, I'll shoot you with a gun, and you will (coincidently) die
-Don’t regret anything. Until it is too late, then regret everything.
@@justeundonut-moi.7979 Don't forget number 11 NOBODY DOES A SLICE LIKE BIG RICO"S. NOBODY!!!
no, please
Anyone else notice that Steve is the only person in this Night Vale that sees Huntokars messages in the sky? Damn that disturbs me.
Sebastian Collins same
Chad could too, after visiting the sports shop
*WE WEREN'T READY*
Oh dark gods above Huntokar is Cecil's mom. So Cecil is in fact half eldritch being.
I was thinking the same thing!
Delannie Williams this would be one of the most fantastic subplot lines ever!
It would explain so much.
OMG that makes so much sense I hope it's true!!!
Delannie Williams
Explain please
So... In summary, Night Vale lived in an alternate reality where Nuclear Armageddon was real, but Huntokar pulled the town out of time and space to live alone. Doing so, Huntokar broke reality, and she is the cause of the rifts in time and space, as well as the false memories. The Dragons came and became troublesome to the continuum, and are bringing the other gods into the mess, and this will eventually destroy Night Vale. Did I get all that correct?
Sounds accurate.
James Merrington The "false memories" are likely to be real memories from other alternate selves of characters in other alternate universes, just that the Night Valeans refuse to acknowledge them as "real"
This fandom must look so weird from the outside.
@@justeundonut-moi.7979 the weirdness is bigger from the inside.
They're explaining the origins of everything and it makes me a little worried the show might be ending.
Same
As long as it's a good ending. Within the Wires and Alice isn't dead are still there.
Bruh I just got into Night Vale recently. If they end it I'm literally gonna cry
EmeraldEnder0317 Listen to the old episodes.
Esproth I'm actually trying to catch up, there's just so many XD (Although, I have skipped around just to listen to Cecil gush about Carlos)

"-... opened doorways to my original Nightvale.. Doorways through which travel is possible, but... not advisable,"
the old oak doors??
god, this explains so much, so beautifully. an amazing applause
"... Maybe take a few versions of my Nightvale to turn into playgrounds for their terror filled delights,"
Dessert Bluffs?? Smiling God????
IT MAKES SO MUCH SENSE

I am very sad now
Broke? You mean DESTROYED
honestly the scariest thing about these recent episodes ? is the implication that nv is ending.
Shift P I KNOW RIGHT I REALLY DONT WANT IT TO END EVER NOOOOOOOO
They're not ending :)
The great unraveling?!
"Night Vale is shattered but, for now, is still here. Hrm. Time is startlingly persistent in that way. Even badly wounded... it moves."
Some of the best fucking writing ever.
They've started to close a lot of the loops: What happened at the Smithwyck house, what happened to the Cecil on the tapes, what the tiny underground city really is, and what happened in 1983. It does look like the show is coming to a conclusion, or at the very least, that they're finishing one massive 'arc' of it.
So now the biggest question in this entire thing, where does Carlos, an outsider scientist, come into play in this story?
maybe carlos is huntokar
Jadedcobalt Gildedjade carlos is actually another god, who will interfere with the destruction of night vale by controlling his domain of SCIENCE
Jadedcobalt Gildedjade Maby he is from one of the other Nightvales? The university of what it is hardly sounds like something our normal world would have. Huntokar talked about developed Nighvales, maby he is from one of them?
Jadedcobalt Gildedjade
Carlos is too perfect that he crossed broken realities to night vale?
Yeah, he seems to be pretty unique in the grand scheme of things.
The splintering of reality makes me think of If He Had Lived...
....notice that the "Smiling God" was never mentioned by Huntocar?
holy shit.
She mentioned the beagle, and the faceless old woman, and the glow cloud *but never the Smiling God*
MacTechG4 Oh my goodness. honestly mind blown. I feel like I need to go back and relisten to the entire series now
Dersite Dreamer ...
What if Desert Bluffs was one of the Night Vales she was talking about? That bled in to our Night Vale? The Smiling God might be their currupt version of Huntokar, Kevin a broken Cecil. It makes sense, and I dont want it to make sense.
Yes, so there should be at least one episode left.
@Cylipelt
[[this was taken from my tumblr and copy pasted here because I'm too lazy to write it down again]]
Kevin is the one who failed!
IT MAKES SO MUCH SENSE NOW. LIKE HOW HE LOOKED SO MUCH LIKE CECIL BEFORE HE ‘FAILED’. HE DIDN’T FAIL IN THE SENSE THAT HE COULDN’T SAVE HIS UNIVERSE, BUT HIS NIGHT VALE. DESERT BLUFFS USED TO BE EXACTLY LIKE NIGHT VALE BEFORE STREX, BUT THEN KEVIN FAILED TO PROTECT HIS OWN NIGHT VALE AND ULTIMATELY DESTROYED IT!!! AND THE ONE WHO LISTENED BUT COULD NOT COMPREHEND IS THE CECIL THAT LIVES IN THE TINY TOWN UNDER LANE FIVE OF THE BOWLING ALLEY, BECAUSE HE *KNOWS* ABOUT HUNTOKAR, AND HE KNOWS *WHY* BUT HE DOESN’T KNOW, NOT REALLY. HE HEARS BUT HE DOESN’T *LISTEN*. AND THE CECIL THAT DIDN’T LISTEN IS OUR CECIL. THE CECIL THAT WAS DRAGGED STRAIGHT FROM THE ARMAGEDDON REALITY INTO THIS ONE. HE *COULD* KNOW WHAT’S GOING ON, BUT HE DOESN’T. BECAUSE. HE. DIDN’T. LISTEN. AND IT ALSO SUGGESTS THAT THERE WAS A GOD VERSION OF CECIL.
Okay, time's a little broken here... I finished a 24 minute episode 23 minutes after release
Time isn't real. you should know this by now.
Ryl0_or i listened to the entire series in two and a half days and i did the math and it should be impossible....
Casserole Time gets weird around Night Vale
sO DOES THIS MEAN THAT DESERT BLUFFS IS ALSO JUST AN ALTERNATE NIGHT VALE... IS THAT COLLAPSING TOO??? KEVIN MY BBY NOOOO
Are Pine Cliff and Red Mesa also alternate Night Vales?
Prophecyarmour I would guess they are
Kevin is totally the Cecil that failed
MySerpentine the smiling god....
I was thinking the same.
Kevin is the one who failed, isn't he?
MySerpentine Oh poop man. you might be right. that makes me really sad actually
Me too
I like to picture Huntokar as a giant beautiful raven-like harpy, with massive black wings. Her eyes are diamonds with millions of facets, able to see through all of space-time. There are countless minuscule planet-like spheres orbiting her talons, each a different version of Nightvale that she watches over.
I think Carlos is the only person in Night Vale who doesn't have any other versions of himself in Alternate Night Vales. After all, he's not from Night Vale.
But he's mentioned in the nightvale under lane 5, but he's not in nightvale
@@UwU-uu9epwell that would be an instance of universes merging together so technically there is still only one Carlos but he is interacting with the tiny universe because the tiny universe is still in our nightvale. Btw I think tiny nightvale is nightvale prime
Okay... is anyone else worried about Night Vale After Dark..... like yeah I am ALL FOR a night vale erotica. But. It's *Night Vale* guys.
Gazer The Star Hunter OH MY GODHGDJJJAHHG
Gazer The Star Hunter BUTT STUFF or something
ChrisMorray HAHHAAHGFFAFGH NOOOOOO U CANT SAY THAT
ChrisMorray 4* VIOLET IS DEAD
Belle thanks for reminding me to be sad.
10:20 Children's Fun Fact Science Corner for today! - The 'practice Armageddon mistaken for the real thing' on November 7th, 1983 that Huntokar was talking about was actually a real thing. It was due to a joint NATO operation called 'Able Archer' to simulate what strategies should be taken in the event of a Soviet nuclear attack, but the Kremlin mistook that for real world preparations. That along with malfunctioning early warning satellites very nearly lead to a disasterous nuclear exchange.
Even Andy the deft bowman ?
What if the reason Carlos is resistant to mind control, the reason he's immune to every strange event that happens in Night Vale, the reason there only seems to be one of him in all these alternate realities, is because he's one of these gods like the Glow Cloud and the Faceless Old Woman and he just doesn't know it.
Little late: That makes sense, he's always described as being perfect, not a single flaw on or about him. No human being is perfect. He's so inhumanely perfect that him being a god would... honestly make sense
Oh shit, does this mean the theory that Desert Bluffs is an alternate Night Vale is actually true???????
That moment when the sirens for three mile island are being tested during this episode
We've been waiting for this for ages. Huntokar, we've been missing you
Huntokar is my space wife
Please, Night Vale can't die. I only found this place a couple months ago. You can't give me something beautiful and rip it away again.
"I sat cross-legged in a lake for 10,000 years." Sounds like she's so proud, but I don't know why.
Fascinating! My theory on Night Vale has been proven right, a temporally fractured multiverse where all temporal events and realities are happening simultaneously, past/present/future all exist simultaneously in the "now"
...in other words, a big ball of wibbly-wobbly timely-wimey.... stuff, also known as the "whole sort of general mish-mash"
i get that reference:D
The truly interesting thing about both concepts is both how similar they are and how logical they seem when you really think about them;
The Mish-Mash is basically a way of organizing the mash into something that makes sense to the entity existing in it, we all create a reality that is unique to us (all versions of Night Vale existing simultaneously), Cecil's night vale differs from Carlos's, Old Woman Josie's, John Peters, you know, the farmer/war hero/distant monarch masquerading as a local farmer, or even, yes, even Steve Carlsberg (groan) (who is more aware of the WSOGMM than other Night Valeians)
Next post, how the WWTWS relates to NV
I got both of those references :p
And as far as Timey-Wimey goes, picture a tightly wound, compressed ball of yarn/string/thread, that ball represents time viewed from the outside, humans have the ability to move in one of the threads in the ball, in a linear manner, and "forward" only, this represents reality as we see it, our slice of the Mish-Mash, we cannot go "backwards", nor can we jump to a different "thread" (version of "reality") we are stuck in an endless forward progression
Since all points in the ball touch, theoretically there should be no reason we couldn't jump to a different thread, go backwards, navigate between threads, go from the core to the surface, etc, it's all one contiguous object after all, "time" is a man made concept for measuring reality.
The Mish Mash and Timey Wimey are complimentary concepts in viewing what we perceive as "reality"
Yes! That was my theory as well, but nothing matters anymore because everything is falling apart and only the doctor can save us.
Oh my god this explains everything...
Not the PLANET OF AWESOME SIZE, though.
Oh, true. Basically it's answered questions whilst making more questions.
Cascade Rorie I've been relistening to all the episodes, and I'm pretty sure - as sure as I can be with Night Vale, anyway - that the Planet of Awesome Size is the visual embodiment of death. All characters that reached out and touched the planet died, or went missing - but the characters that only saw it, looked for just a moment, they were in near death experiences, but lived. Huntokar saw death and destruction, and saved Night Vale from it. But now its back, and it can't be saved this time.
Is Steve Carlsberg the prophet of Huntokar?
yes
seems so
Prophecyarmour could be, if Huntokar employs jerks ;)
Prophecyarmour It seems odd she didn't mention him, doesnt it? She said that they see the dotted lines, arrows, and circles in the sky but deny them. She left out Steve who spent almost an entire monologue in episode 59 (September Monologues) talking about the lines, arrows, and circles he could see in the sky.
This is a lot to take in... so many questions have been answered...so many pieces finally click... but now I have an even bigger question. What is different about Cecil? Why does Huntokar take such an interest in him? Why does she reach out to him specifically? Why is it that his existence is tied to a broken interdimensional faultline?
Anyway, if Night Vale were ending I think we would have been told so. Maybe "our" Night Vale will be the one find a way to fix this.
It could be because he tells the news and tells stories and talks to the whole community of Night Vale so his voice is always being heard and for that reason she goes to him to tell him the truth of Night Vale and the truth of the world basically so he can explain to Night Vale why all this is happening. But that's just my guess
Christina Ovsepian He's also implied immortal. that might help
He's also usually referred as "the voice of NV", not "the local radio host".
That still wouldn't explain why his existence is on the "faultline" of reality. And if we are talking about all possible Night Vales there should be realities were Cecil isn't a radio host.
Kelly Bisson unless Cecil had already been there and played an important role when the world originally ended, in the Night Vale Huntokar had tried to pluck out the Armageddon
Seems the world really is always ending. Just hope Cecil and Carlos get a happy ending.
and now i want to give Huntokar a hug.
Gerald same
Has anyone else noticed that the hooded figures kind of just stopped showing up? I've listened to every episode up till now and they just stopped talking about them.
Jessica Sponseller don't mind the hooded figures. They will not harm you
Just Mavrick yeah! Because they all disappeared!!!
No one's talking about the Shape in Grove Park either. Wonder why.
Random Person well they had a conclusion to that. Cecil had to stop taking about it because it was freaking out. So no one talks about it. Makes sense. But the hooded figures didn't have a real conclusion to it. In my opinion.
I threw the Shape in as a joke, but now that you mention it, I miss those gloomy hooded figures
Maybe they'll show up along with Kevin and New Desert Bluffs at a later episode
Ok, I was wrong about my previous theory on Huntokar. I was PARTIALLY right, in that she did transport Night Vale to save it from bombs. But she didn't want to replace our Night Vale with her's..... It wasn't just our Night Vale whose reality was breaking, it was every Night Vale, and it happened because she wanted to save her town. No wonder Night Vale was so weird... Their reality is broken, has been broken for a long long time that it seems it has always been that way, and so we just accepted the weird stuff that happened in town as normal.
And even knowing that she accidentally destroyed Night Vale, the moment I learned that she was its patron god, that she loved and guided their ancestors and was loved and worshipped in return, I felt an inexplicable fondness for her. She created Night Vale. Even after learning that reality was breaking because of her and her good intentions.... She belongs to Night Vale just as Night Vale belongs to her. I did not feel anger or betrayal, just... sadness...
My heart, I'm crying NO POOR NIGHT VALE! WE HAVE TO HUG EVERYONE ESPECIALLY CECIL, CARLOS, AND HUNTOCAR
*HUNTOKAR
I WANNA GO TO NIGHT VALE AFTER DARK
holy shit you heard it too?
* hears someone who's not Cecil * *SCREAMS IN TERROR *
*Doesn't hear theme song * guess we're done for
Huntokar is definitely a god I could worship.
I guess Mountains exist now
BlackRose43V3R bah! MOUNTAIN BELIEVER!!!, next you'll be telling me "angels" exist...
MacTechG4 I think I need mandatory re-education.... preferably followed by de-education
BlackRose43V3R Don't worry, the SSP already sent someone to your house. You will be re-educated soon. Don't fight your fate. Don't scream, don't run, don't say anything. It'll be over soon.
Which Night Vale is the Night Vale that Huntokar originally tried to save, though? Is it ours? Is the tiny one under Lane 5? What about the Night Vale where Cecil learned about the sister city (nulogorsk?) that experienced the world ending? That's still ours, isn't it?
What about the tiny Night Vale under lane 5 that doesn't have the conventional weather? Night Vale usually gets saved/closer to being saved after the weather plays, so does that mean the weather-less Night Vale was the Night Vale Huntokar tried to save (which would explain why they're all still so normal and just trying to adjust to the weirdness *our* Night Vale has already grown accustomed to?)
So many questions.
Oh my gosh. This explains all the references to the 1980s through the series - the letters from Russia dated 198X, Cecil saying he only remembers up to the 80s ... I'm sure there are so many more.
I need to know moooreee.
Good lord I'm ready for this
I WAS NOT READY FOR THIS
This is my favourite CZcams comment update ever!
HOW?!
Lordy lordy, guess who's regretful
for some reason I have this foreboding feeling that this means that the podcast might be ending???? I don't think so, but I just have a feeling??? I wanna give Hunty a hug :(
Freshprinceyoholla Agreed! like, why are you telling us all this?! When will it all end?
I mean Huntokar is literally saying that the world (possibly EVERY world) is collapsing or otherwise disintegrating. And we've observed this happening since at least episode 103, Ash Beach, and possibly before, when that old lady (Lusha?) "remembered" the world ending in '83 (though I'm not sure if that actually counts).
YOOOO MAYBE CARLOS WILL DISCOVER THAT ALL THE OTHER REALITIES HAVE TO COME TOGETHER TO STOP IT ALL FROM HAPPENING!!! OMG INCLUDING DESERT BLUFFS. I MISS KEVIN.
Maybe this leads into the blood space war
Freshprinceyoholla omg yes, I love Kevin and want him to come back!!!!
So...has anyone else come to the conclusion that Kevin is an alternate version of Cecil? Like...if all of those realities have been blending together from the start, that means that Desert Bluffs wasn't a rival town, it WAS Night Vale. A different reality of Night Vale. That makes Kevin, Cecil.
Aroa LeRogue Its funny because that was my thought first time I heard Episode 19b.
And when all the doubles came, it was the two towns merging together. Ah, idk if I can do this anymore I need ANSWERS!
I've listened to this episode like 20 times now since it came out, It gives me goosebumps over and over again at certain parts, I really hope we get to actually see more from the different gods in the next episodes. Huntokar is already my favorite character "in Night Vale"!
Its also quite awesome to finally be able to make sense of all the previous episodes. It's so well written and Tina Parker's performance is so good .
*slams fist on table* I neeed a wtnv animated or live action series.
I've listened to this episode about 5 times already. I just can't get enough of hearing the story about Huntokar. It's so beautifully written and ties up so many loose ends. It's perfect.
Welp my mind is shattered
AND THIS CALLS FOR A RE-LISTEN OF ALL 108 EPISODES THAT CAME BEFORE IN THE LIGHT SHED BY THIS ONE.
I've been binge listening to nightvale and this is the episode that I've finally caught up to. And now I'm broken that there's no more episodes to binge on until the 15th. Curse you nightvale for destroying me in this way!!
please, please, please don't let this be the end
Finally, the origin story of Nightvale.
Haha I may be very late to this podcast, but at least I’m not everyone here worrying that the series is over
Sameee
I listen to this episode to make me fall asleep, it soothes me to dream of all the dots and stories and bits and pieces coming together. initially, I disliked that this video almost implied an end, or that what I interpreted as quirky nonsense and fun was all a bigger and more complicated thing, but I am much more gratified in remembering all the little things, the bits and bobs (that make night vale... night vale) that fit together, and learning that they root from this deeper origin.
I think it's time for me to listen to all these episode all over again from the beginning
So this is the end?
I thought it would be quieter.
I thought that they could change this
That if there was another battle to be fought
In this war for Night Vale's existence
We would fight
And win
Just like before
Now I realize
Thanks to Huntokar
That we were not crumbling
But already in pieces
Why does this feel like the end of the podcast? ToT
Kamilah Max nopenothappeningstopno
You fool, it's still going
Mary Addis I know. 🤨
Was rereading my night vale books, well "Mostly Void, Partially Stars" to be more specific, and on page seven it mentions Carlos talking about earthquakes that no one can feel. What if episode one was the day reality shattered. It's like something is happening, but at the same time nothing at all. Not only that, but it's only the second episode in the series where The Glow Cloud appears, which Huntokar says is a god like being like herself. She also states that the others where drawn to Nightvale because she broke it's reality. Others referring to the other beings that were in the mudwomb with her, including The Glow Cloud.
Please excuse me, I'm freaking out at this moment. Please stand by.
To be honest I was starting to feel a bit worried that I was underwhelmed with the more recent NV episodes,
(With the exception of 'The Smithwick house', 'Episode 100' and the one about Disposal, those were really good)...but this THIS
THIS IS ACTUALLY MY FAVOURITE NV EPISODE TO DATE!
(I replayed it soo many times)
If I had thirty minutes left to live this is what I'd play
This is why I love this series so much, it really knows how to hit you in the feels...
I am fREAKING MY SHIT M8S
I don't think it's ending; but things are falling into place. I'm sad, terrified, wanting to cry. I love Night Vale. They are prisoners.
I still listen to this all the time. For some reason it’s so relaxing to me. Very soothing voice
I just recently went to a Night Vale live show, All Hail, and it made me feel like Night Vale was beginning all over again. Seeing everyone there put it in a new perspective and I saw it in a new light. Now, hearing these recent episodes... it seems like Night Vale is ending. I know they've said it's not ending yet, but it seems as though they keep leading us to the edge of town. This has been such an important part of my life recently and I couldn't bare to let it go. I feel like I'm mourning a nearing death. I hate it.
Adelaide Rose Don't worry, I think Jeffrey or Joseph posted on Twitter, that Night Vale is not ending soon.
Every time she said Cecil my theorizing brain went a little bit faster and now my head hurts
I love this. It helps put the woo woo of it all together not to mention the multidimensional aspects that have a further reach in speaking about humanity. Absolutely brilliant.
WHAT JUST HAPPENED
Huntokar did everything for love while every other god was an asshole. Because of our stupidity she was forced to do something catastrophic, and now the gods are messing with the ones she loves. This is sad, painful, and now I just want to hug the goddess of Night Vale.
chill out people, this is just an "background explained" episode, this is just another part of the plot, theres nothing here that implies the show is ending. i mean, come on, night vale is barely even at its peak
i feel like i am about to cry and i don't know why
zetsuboushita27 same
where is my smol bean!?
Holy smokes. Mind blown. AGAIN, like every freaking episode is just so beautifully written
Night Vale is home. What do you do when that starts to slip away?
I am ashamed to say my favorite NV episode doesn't have any of the characters I know and love. But now I know and love who Huntokar is. #forgivehuntokar
why do we have all this MEAT strapped to our heads??
Oh boy
Beautiful... This story is a masterpiece.
so happy that they uploaded on my birthday. :)
shy'mellhaspoken happy birthday!
Also happy birthday!
So many answers and questions, all mixed in with words of wisdom and mind-crushing strangeness
Okay, I need a full Nightvale pantheon! Also, this is probably my favorite episode so far
I have feelings and all of them are pain
Damn... Now I want to cry. Night Vale can't end... :'(
night vale "after dark" 😏
why do they spoil us so
This is no doubt my all time favorite episode so far
I’m just loving these episodes!
well that was my heart shattering along with the rest of nightvale
thanks huntokar
Ok I guess I did make it a bit further last time
The weather was so beautiful yet so awful at the same time
I loved it
I didn't know how much I needed that episode until I heard it...
Also somehow I now feel a bit guilty for just standing in my kitchen baking, sunshine shining through my window.
I kept expecting Steve Calsburgs name to come up. He can see and read the signs!!!
Starting the episode, after everything that's happened in the last few episodes I think I'm ready for whatever this one has to throw at me. Wish me luck.
Update: I was not prepared at all.
I want to hug herrrr
This is one of the greatest and most spinechilling things I have ever heard. Lovely and haunting and existentially horrifying, like WTNV pushed to its max. Love it so much.
It isn't going to end, is it?!
You know, they unveiled everything and are working on new podcasts....
chills within the first three seconds
That was one hell of an episode..
my go to episode when I need my WTNV fix is "A story about them" but this is getting there.
