One of these days I will have me a Twin Troller only way to go and be able to fish like the big boys and no worry about tipping it over. Just wish there were more people that did videos of their fishing from the TT!
There's several that do on youtube.......but they don't make videos all the time. I've owned my TT for 16 months now & fish it hard every week, year round here in Florida. Love it. Highly recommended.
I have the Mercury 3.5 ( 4 stroke ) on my Twin Troller & love it. It's actually 100% TOHATSU.......because Mercury & several other outboard companies know Tohatsu makes such a good small outboard, they actually contract with Tohatsu to furnish many of their outboards & simply put a different sticker/logo on the cowl cover. Look it up. I run mine as much as 6 miles ( 1 -way and non-stop, except for topping off the tiny fuel tank....but you would have to do that with all of these tiny outboards, the tanks only hold about 80% of 1 liter of fuel. ) at times to get where I need to fish. It has yet to let me down after 16 months ( since I bought my Twin Troller...........ZERO regrets here. ) The Mercury/Tohatsu 2.5 and 3.5 are the exact same motor.......they only put larger jets in the carb & raise the governor's rpm to 6,000 rpm on the 3.5 to give it the extra power. That is a fact. The bore & stroke is the same, they even weigh the same.......totally identical except for what I just described.
Joseph McGee........Absolutely. That's exactly what I have on my Twin Troller, a 2016 "Mercury" 3.5hp 4-stroke. But it's actually 100% Tohatsu, and that's a good thing. Mercury simply slaps their logo/sticker on it. I jokingly call it my "Mercatsu". Mercury & several other outboard companies are contracting with Tohatsu. The transom on the Twin Troller is so strong, I actually leave my outboard mounted even when trailering down rough dirt roads. It is now going on 2 years with no cracking or damage to the transom whatsoever. Love this boat.
MR-FLIP.........Do what I did: Just start saving up the money. I'm 56 yrs old, and that terrible recession that began in '08 destroyed many business owners here in Florida, myself included. I make a fraction of the money I used to. It took me about 8 months to save up enough to buy my Twin Troller that I purchased in October of 2016. I can honestly tell you it was well worth the wait & the effort. Remember, ya only pay for it once, and this fantastic little craft begins paying for itself in various ways beginning with the very first trip out on the water, and continues with every trip after. That's because there is near-zero maintenance, and "cost of operation" is a joke. Charge up the battery, that's it. Hose it off.......a quick spray of dry-formula electrical contact cleaner to both plug-ins and the receptacles in the peddles, and you're done. I also bought a 3.5hp Tohatsu 4-stroke outboard, and a trailer from Harbor Freight that I modified bunks just for this boat. It all works perfectly. It doesn't matter if it takes a fella 2 years to save the money...........the reward is this boat. Worth every dollar, I promise you that.
It be awesome if y’all put 4 trolling motor two in the front and two of them in the back plus make it TT 38 inches wide 16 ft long now you’re talking my language brother plus a 5 hp motor
Looks like a decent boat but the price point is way too high! You can find a full size bass tracker with motor and trailer in great used condition for the same price as this tiny boat. And all of your videos comparing it to the kayaks have the comments disabled probably because even though your claim is that you are not attacking the kayak fisherman pretty much all you do is trash kayak fishing in those videos. You can buy a very decent and stable fishing kayak for less than half the price of the twin troller.
Where do we begin? Yes, you could buy a Tracker but you wouldn't have a Twin Troller and a Tracker can't do what a TT can do. Second, yes, you could buy a kayak for half the price, or you could buy a kayak for more money. And, then again you would not have a Twin Troller, and a kayak can't do what a Twin Troller can do. Those that want what a Twin Troller can do, buy a Twin Troller because no other boat can do it. There are many, many, many TT owners that sold their Tracker, kayak, Ranger, the list goes on, because they wanted what a TT can do.
Preston Halcomb my Hobie pa couldn't hold a candle for a twintroller . I have to Peale all the time to stay put and I have to use one hand to turn. Tt is the best fishing boat hands down. And I don't have one (yet). But I'm selling my Hobie to get one and yes I will loose a thousand bucks. And yes my Hobie has reverse
I just purchased my TT this past Monday and can’t wait to hit the water with it. I’ve been waiting to purchase one for a couple of years. The price was high in my mind at first; however, for what I’ve seen and read it’s definitely worth it. I did look at the Pelican and others. I really love the low maintenance selling point and the maneuverability. I’ve purchased a Helix 5 DI GPS and other stuff. I’ve watched every video and finally joining this community. Let’s go!!!!!!! BTW, David was awesome to work with on my purchase. He was honest and informative.

Frank, I noticed your boat no rod holders. Why?
Does it have gps anchoring feature?
Looks like a Camo Full wrap, not Half-wrap, is that offered on this boat as well?
Not at this time. Right now, only the half-wrap is available.
Frank I know you and David like the Honda What do think about mercury 2.5.? Is the Honda ok for salt water?! Thanks.
The Honda works fine in salt water. We only offer the Honda. We don't have any experience with the Mercury.

How do I get that color sceme?
Is there only one type of twin troller?
There are three models based on the same boat. The Twin Troller X10 and there is no other boat like it anywhere in the world.
Anybody in the Midwest, N.W. In or Illinois, using one?
I want that same exact setup, wonder how much

Why are comments disabled on your "best fishing boat" video?
Seems like some jackassery going on.
No, it's intentional.
Pelican Bass Raider 10E 10'2" Pontoon Boat $599.00 love it cheaper
We understand. For some people cheap is better than best.
