@@AncientCityMusic He is at the beginning stages of Renal failure but Max caught it soon enough that his condition can be managed last time I checked. There is a video about it on the channel.

I think one of my fav stream moments was where they just kept singing songs and people would donate to request more. To the point where Jessica had to come in and tape Max's mouth shut lol

I totally understand the disappointment that comes with putting the most effort into something that you wanted to do and not get the same attention toward something that did not take as much effort.

Fighting history is my favorite series of urs. I'm glad u got to do so many, considering how much work they are. Its understandable that u had to stop but it was fun while it lasted.

It's been over half a decade since I started watching you consistently Max (around 2014/15) and until this video, I never knew your last name, regardless, here's to a another decade and to more content from Max.
Even though this video is all about 2016, the Smash Wii U Cloud reveal trailer reaction from 2015 was what got me hooked on to your channel and YoVideogames. Started to check out many of your videos on fighting games and you guys just having a great time playing all kinds of games and goofing off and laughing at some of the good stuff, etc. From the reaction videos, fighting game videos, some of the random discussion videos, Hype and Rage, KI and Smash Bros videos, etc. Glad to be a fan. Awesome channel Max. Keep up the great work!

Yo Max the view count may say otherwise but the formatted shows you've made are without a doubt some of your best work, I'd love to see them return when and if you ever have the time, budget, and more importantly the motivation to do them again.

I actually thought Max was a commentator back when I first seen him and was getting into fighting games. Don't think I've ever seen him commentate another game since! Found the channel a little while later and I'm like 'Oh I know this guy'...
It's amazing how fast the channel has grown and to what magnitude.

You came a long way and i think my favorite thing from you so far is the Legacy series. Especially the Terry one you did not that long ago
You mention how the Benny part is kind of legitimately sad. I think maybe it gains a little bit of that in retrospect, since that's actually his last appearance in an acting role before his retirement. So it unintentionally works as a send-off for a character who's been part of the Assist Me-verse almost since the start.

I was just so messed up and trashed for a few of these years. I'm still not exactly cured, but at least I'm not as bad. There's definitely great content I should go back and see. Saw a bunch of it, like scrub lord, but a lost I missed.
It really sucks your Fighting History series didn't get much views when it first came out. I really enjoyed them.

Max I love the MOVIES and scripted shows, honestly OLW and ASSIST ME is what got me hooked. I get why you don't do it much anymore buuuuut... Could we get one a year?
I clipped the moment where Akuma's compilation of his Raging Demons because I needed something to express to a friend the relief and hype I felt when I beat a very hard part of a game. "LET'S GO BITCH! AAAAAARRRRGGGHHHHH!"
Nothing can come close to being hype as that moment.

i was in bad shape as I should've stroked out 2015 and I was pushing to get healthier, was, and then my body basically went into self destruction about a less than a year later. I missed out on a lot of this. I should see if I can go back and watch the movies. If not though, at least I saw this in review.

One of the things I can't forget in 2016 is the Nioh Donation Train.
Every year, we should all click on the alien movie on his birthday to boost its views. It deserves more plays
A Yovideogames Resident Evil movie would’ve been awesome, those shots of Max walking with his pistol in the dark looks so RE
2016 was a pretty hard year for me. I'd just found Max's Guilty Gear videos by CZcams recommendation and was like, oh hey that's the guy who previewed a lot of SFV stuff and he's playing a Guilty Gear, might check that out. And it got me hard into Guilty Gear. But most importantly I saw him playing Dark Souls 2 and was like, I think I can beat that game. I played DS, DS2, BB and DS3 right through. I would job hunt in the morning, play Dark Souls after while watching Max stream. I was pretty depressed and full of anxiety, but I found the souls games soothing somehow despite the dark horror themes and the streams made me laugh hard and were mega hype. But I ended up confronting my fears, probably because of Dark Souls, Streams and a few other things which I discovered.
I'm not going to say I don't get anxious anymore. But I like to think a part of the reason I can run towards the fire and not away is because of this year watching Max's streams. 2016 could have been the worst year, but it ended up being one of the best. Thanks Max.

Benny was trained to work with cameras, Luna is not and simply runs away from cameras or entirely ignores them. They're both good pups.
