@@Zeithri You clearly didn't understand what the Hypelords did. They were like Max; they made fighting games fun.
I stopped watching them when Pat became overbearing. He kept moaning that games didn't have tank controls, moaning about mechanics of the game when he clearly didn't understand them and was actually pretty crap at games. Don't get me wrong I loved their early stuff but it went downhill soon as they did the Dark Souls playtrhough.

That Smash Cloud reaction is the purest hype reaction in all of CZcams.
Thats kind of how i feel about max in general. His friends are always so over hyped, Simmons seems ok, but others are kind of annoying. They play it up soo much.

He set the standard for separating the phony fake reactions and the genuine ones. If you didn't flip your shit at the opening jingle, you were a big fat phony.

Same, exactly the same, I had just played FF7 back in 7th grade and the psx trailer entered my feed informing me the remake came out. I found max through his reactions and Stayed for an amazing man and group of friends

Aww the Best Friends. They were the reason I got into Max’s videos back in 2014. In 2015 I fell in love with Max’s content. One of my favorite youtubers
They also introduced me to Max's stuff. The first lp I saw on there was the Silent Hill 3 lp. Searched that game up after I saw some clips and fell in love with their vids after that.
The funniest part of the Jason Livestream was them dropping a combo and the entire chat going "THAT'S FUCKING STEVE IN THE MASK" just because of his skills lmao.

@@SkywardSpork Jesus they've been working on that for 7 years? I'm glad they've been taking their time It's obviously going to pay off but wow, I don't know of any other game other than one stuck in developmental hell that had that long of a development time.

@@foolishcious1807 Dat's a lotta replays. xD Not that I blame you; Bloodborne is still, imo, the best FromSoft game out there. It definitely should've won GoTY 2015 as far as I'm concerned... Elden Ring looks very interesting though, it may even rival BB once it hits the shelves... but only a Bloodborne sequel will ever truly satisfy me... just gotta keep pestering Sony about it I guess... (I'm actually of the opinion that Bloodborne was so perfect that it doesn't need a sequel, but I wouldn't refuse one if it appeared, you know.)
No kidding. FF7R, Nioh 2, Animal Crossing: New Horizons, Persona 5 Royal, Half Life: Alyx, RE3R, Trials of Mana... and a little later on in the year we'll get goodies like TLoU2, Luigi's Mansion 3, Little Nightmares 2 and Ghost of Tsushima... To be honest, my wallet won't be able to tank this year's great titles. ;^; I've already decided to sit out on HL:A 'cause I cannot afford a VR set... especially not since I ordered the Limited Special Edition of FF7R...
Such a magical moment for games in general. The moment no one thought possible.

My good man, your hype for the Remake makes ME tear up and I've never even played the original FF7. Suffice to say, I can see why the dev team has taken inspiration from your hype. I have done the same. WHenever somehting FF7 related in any capacity comes out or gets announced or whatever, my first thought is ALWAYS "Holy hell, Max is gonna love this!"
Thing just makes me hella emotional. I seriously cannot wait for the 3rd of March. I seriously cannot. My body is not ready. We may die once we have it in our hands-all of us- but this is somehting I am willing to accept. So. Much. Hype.

At last, the year I eventually joined the Doodbrodia family. Still think the Shao Khan Boss Rage is one of my favorite videos on youtube, and this is the year I learned and loved almost all the fighting games that have been staples of this channel. Thank you Max, very cool.
I am not gonna lie I was first introduced to your channel by the soda videos as a recommended video after I watched a video from a channel that was talking about soda flavors. But I obviously stayed for your amazing self and the whole YoVIdeoGames crew. This was the year I started watching you all and have never looked back, thanks for all the awesome content over the years.

These strolls down memory lane are getting me all sentimental thinking of how much we’ve all grown alongside your channel Max. I was 17 when I started watching and I’m 27 now. This channel influenced me in a lot of ways, but the biggest was giving me some clue of what I wanted to do in life. Finally finished my media production undergrad back in May. Im motivated to build the fuuuuuck out of my portfolio this year.

2015 was the year of hype, I just hope FFVIIR lives up to the hype, because The Last Guardian and Shenmue III, well...yeah.
But you're talking now about a game that ACTUALY got the love i development that it deserves.

Specialy shenmue 3 looks like the devs kinda ran out of idea's halfway.
Last guardian was if i am correct from the same devs as shadow of the collosus. Cool idea, lots of potential. Very empty and boring game.
FF7 was originaly already a good gane and jampacked with content. And they add only more shit to it AND heavily upgrade the graphics.
@@cherrydragon3120 So, I never played played Guardian yet, so this is pure conjecture. But if you found the game to be "empty and boring." I would steer clear of any game made by Fumito Ueda. As from what I DO know about that game. It is very much so an Ueda game.
My Cloud reaction was damn near the same as yours at the start, recognizing the music, shock that the Smash logo showed up, wondering when the patented Smash Reveal Troll Moment was going to happen, only for it to not happen and that it was real.
Yep, the Cloud for Smash reaction lead me to subscribe in the long run. I catch some videos of Max before, but never really cared that much. But then, I ended rewatching that Reaction so much, that CZcams keep recommending me his videos, and a couple of Boss Rage later, I had to hit that subscribe button!

This had to be the year where I was genuinely invested in this channel, subscribed and everything. 2014 I was recommended to things like the Boss Rage episodes and reaction videos.
That predator movie is and will always be one of my favorite videos on the channel Dood! Along with the Alien movie and the Cloud/ Smash Bros boss rage.
This is the year I met a SHIT TON of my closest friends in the stream chats, I owe you and the doods a lot for saving my life in 2015 after having being at my worst in 2014. The combo of hanging out in the streams and the TRAIN of amazing game announcements, incredible year.
It's crazy to realize it's been this long. I remember pulling up the original assists me during UMVC3 days. And they helped.
I've been a long time fan of yours, Max. It's heartbreaking to see your Assist Me videos or other live actions comedy videos are not doing well. I've came across your channel for the Doom Assist Me, and I was immediately hooked on your content and getting to know you and your friends through CZcams and Twitch. This was the year I discovered Max. The first thing was the Best Friends' challenge for Bio Freaks of all things and then the Cloud in Smash reaction solidified him as solid dude I need to watch.
I remember the Jason thing, that was so good. The cool thing about those livestream moments, is that if you were there it feels extra special, like a little medal for watching something as crazy as that for the first time

Let's be honest; we all knew that it would take about 5 years. Especially after Nomura went on record and said that he was of the opinion that they had revealed the game way too early... At least we got GameTrailers' reaction to the FF7R reveal. Quite possibly the best reaction to a reveal ever; Kyle Bosman crawling up on his chair in sheer excitement and then transitioning into "kid who's getting a puppy," complete with throwing furniture to the floor in pure joy and then, a minute later, wondering what happened to his chair. Only trailer that the GT crew ever gave a perfect 30/30 score. R.i.p. GT. Live long and prosper, Easy Allies.
