Just finished cleaning up my wiring also, waiting on those sinewave controllers that you recommended to get in. I got the 12 volt convertor in, with new lights, got rid of the alarm, and added a $20 NFC Lock switch for the "ignition" for $25 in place of the alarm, (about half the size), Got my Thumb Throttle mod completed and its SOOOO much better than the trigger, less fatiguing for me. I also re-did my Phase wires with XT150 6mm bullet connectors. I added XT90 connectors with antispark to the battery connection so I don't have to listen to that "pop" each time I plug the battery in lol. I know XT90 is above what was in there, but, I changed out my Battery's BMS and cables also to match, I had a 300 AMP Smart BMS from a project that I ended up going Lifepo4 with, so the Li Ion BMS will get its use. I just set the current limit/shutoff to the same limit as the one that was in there, and I can now monitor the balance voltage of the 8 sets of 16, along with the temperature via Bluetooth. Looking forward to the controller installation video, So I can follow along. Thanks again for another great video!
Your customize scooter gonna be bad ass... i just noticed when i unfolded my handle bars that red lever of my scooter is down hitting on scooter deck and i been riding like that since...does it make a difference leaving it down i guess the proper position is keeping the red lever up.... i also tried to unfold the scooter but forgot how i ended up pressing the red lever upwards instead of down where i currently have it but forgot its the other way around i have to push down on the side silver lever then down on the red lever to fold the scooter handle bars down????
You sound like you know whats up.. though i do have one question...for the motor phase cables, u have the green and blue swapped.. mine go from color to color g-g. B-b. Y-y. Should i switch them?
If your motors are turning in the right direction (forward) then leave them as they are. The only reason you would swap the colors is if the motor was turning backwards. It depends on the motor/controller combination. Controllers with a “learn” function like the Yunli Sinewave controllers, will learn the phase wires regardless of how you have them wired, so it wouldn’t even matter in that case.
Could you tell me how to rewire my horn correctly please. I had the same 60v front & rear indicators which I removed, but somewhere in spaghetti junction the front & rear indicator wires were looped in with the head & tail lights and horn wires, to the controller and switch. But since I've removed the indicators, my horn only works when my lights are switched on and not when they're off
Since you look like u know what’s up. I purchased one on Amazon and when it arrived I checked the voltage and charged it. It lost 3 volts in short time I disconnected the alarm and checked it after some time. It didn’t loose anywhere near the voltage this time. I was ready to put it on the road and touched the display to turn it on and noticed that the power button was extremely hot. I quickly disconnected the battery and waited for it to cool. The dealer promised me a new display but I am not certain if I should wait for the new display. I only have a week left in order to send it back. I don’t know what to do I have not even road it yet and I am presented with all these problems. What so u think should I keep it or send it back before the 30 day limit. Scott Farley
It’s a great scoot but you shouldn’t have to deal with that. I’d send it back while you can. That’s the benefit of ordering through Amazon. Then, if you like, u can email me and I’ll help you look for a scoot in whatever your price range is and based on your needs. maikemarx@gmail.com
Part 2 will not make your motor work. If you followed part 1 correctly and your motor does not spin then your controllers are bad. The flashing box is an indication that there is an issue between the controllers and the motors. If the wiring is correct, then your controllers are the problem.
The JP controllers are not good and I wouldn’t recommend them. I replaced mine with the Yunli sinewave controllers which are far superior. banggood.onelink.me/zMT7/6c7rcb4s czcams.com/video/nVbxYaVWYAk/video.htmlsi=ttW9fLlQwjAtCn4D czcams.com/video/RRiVyBfwXf8/video.htmlsi=oFr_Dzigy09fhxp3
Hello. Thanks for that video! I have one problem : When I turn on the scooter. No problem. But when the Eco turbo switch is pressed, and released, so now it is released, my front motor turn alone. It is at a small speed, I think 25kilometers/hour. And the switch are not doing what they need to do. Dual single, etc. Any idea? Thanks.
Hey has anyone had their scooter just stop working? Mine was working great then suddenly wouldn’t drive, quickly after that it powered off and wouldn’t start up. I tried the alarm button reset and then by passed the alarm and removed it. Now one accessory light will work, but the rest of the scooter won’t power on. Any ideas for next steps?

@@Desert-Ecruising thanks dude! I'm gonna open the deck up tomorrow and check where the wrong connection is

I had this issue with the key/voltage display. I just jumped the switch and use the voltage display on controller.
Thank you but my rear motor is still not moving. It still show the little box on the display
I’ll be waiting for part 2 ❤🙏

Double check all the display connections. Make sure the pins in the connectors are secure and not backed out.
can you give me link to buy this controller please? and what is its advantage over the standard one?

If the wiring is all correct, then I would have to believe the controllers have an issue.
@@Desert-Ecruising yes, replaced and good now, but now gear 1 and 2 in Eco are 4 and 14 km/h.. Sad. Faulty new controller..
To me eco mode is useless. I can still go as slow as I want in turbo mode just using the throttle.
@@Desert-Ecruising sometime I found it useful and need that Eco switch too for magnetic speed limit 😝
Can you by past the remote for all push start controller
If the alarm is the same as in the video, then you should be able to bypass it in the same way. A lot of scoots use that same alarm module.

I have see some people have had a wire come loose on bms. Pirate made a video on fixing it.
