So amazing to live through this period, sort of shocking because i remember telling my buddy,.."Who the hell can get bigger than that"....and you know to this day i don't think anyone but a select couple of people in 40+ years had the full package like Ronnie or Yates......This still holds up...BIG TIME!

To me, what made Ronnie’s so impressive is the way they capped off. He was never the widest, think, Jay, Markus, Dennis Wolf and James. Those striations and caps dominated. Flowed well.

Watching and learning from these guys got me so strong it was crazy. I remember going from doing 230 max bench to 405 for 8 reps just crazy!
That’s awesome. I could only make myself hot 405 once as my wife ORM. I tried to compete in a military lifting competition and that got me like 15th place😅😢😂

For me till today, it is unreal how Ronny got that physic by working out in a traditional hood gym with old sh't. I mean, I know all peds that he consumed, but it is like most open bodybuilders. It is incredible, the best.
its all about which environment you feel most motivated enough to put hard work in. some people prefer the traditional dirty iron weights, some prefer new and clean urethane coated weights
Truth, environment is everything and it's also a testament that nothing beats just real iron for building a world class physique. There's something to be said between you and that weight is just steel, sometimes when you have too many options with all these machines in these fancy gyms nowadays people forget about the oldschool work and exercises. Free weights will always be king in our world
