when he did his 1st big performance most people were confused why some ginger white kid stepped out on stage

Exactly that’s why I love 80s and a lot of 90s music , a lot of the stuff I enjoy are straight vibes , as if it was a era of feel good creativity dreamworld or something lol now things are far from that in ways lol a lot more over the top these days .

I know I'm not the first to say it, but you honestly got rickrolled by your mama! Good on you. And good for her too. Got to love it. Yep. This song is a classic.

You sounded surprised that there were "no curse words"---in the 80s artists wouldn't think to curse in a sing, nor would it have been played on the radio, which is what we all listened to. We kept our clothes on. You had to have actual talent. The world was definitely a better place.

Rick comes from Newcastle in the North England , where they have speak with a strong Goodie accent , so not surprising he sings like this. This came out in the 80s and he had a lot of other hits in the UK. He is touring at the moment.

Also, now there is the Rick Astley paradox. It involves the Disney movie 'Up'. If you ask Rick for the movie 'Up', he cannot give it to you, and thus, he lets you down, which is something he also would never do...

I wanna say that this video came out in 1987, I believe that's what it was. I actually had it on cassette tape, when I was in my early teens.
