This channel got bought and paid for by Toyota a long time ago and they’ve gone downhill ever since. They claim to be “vehicle” enthusiasts but the channel isn’t at all. It’s just another Toyota fan boy club. They’ve completely lost their blue collar roots in favor of extremely expensive high end bolt on gear that is far out of reach for most of their fans. Myself included. They’ve lost major credibility by NEVER being critical of the mountain of failures Toyota is putting out these days. They don’t even explore their own country. It’s always some over the top foreign country Toyota commercial trip. They’re so talented and they have access to so many resources and they continually just choose to go the corporate path. The worst thing that ever happened to this channel was corporate Toyota Sponsorship. It’s such a bummer.

Last I heard it's late 2024. They have to first roll out the PROS with the HybridMAX PT since that's the only option on trailhinter trim
Supposed to be available this spring, but I think there is a bit of a waiting list already.
Is a we boost a option from Toyota ? Or you boys add it in urself
I really wanted this truck, but with the prices, it’s not in the cards now. I just bought a Frontier Pro 4X and really love it…now onto the, “save $$ then mod” game over the next few years.

I'm guessing around 70k as well, pretty stiff for a mid-size truck. Now I'm debating between the trailhunter or the gx 550 overtrail
@@toledo3211 yea unfortunately it's pretty ridiculous for a mid size. I debated on potentially getting it but for that price I can get a damn power wagon.
Dang. I've been debating on whether I should get the new GX or the new Land Cruiser. This will make that decision even more difficult.

I’m not a fan of the Tacoma, mostly due to the lack of front suspension travel, I’d be excited if it came out with a factory long travel independent front suspension or a solid axle to be compatible with a jeep.. I consider the c channel frame to be inferior to the fully boxed frame, fortunately for 2024 the Tacoma now has a fully boxed frame.. I’m so disappointed with no improvements with the front suspension… we will have to wait another 30 years for that to improve, until then I’ll get a jeep gladiator.
Couldn’t agree more. The IFS on these things is trash. They need to offer solid front axels for the off road focused models and save the IFS for the limiteds. All these new Toyota models are atrocious. I’ve seen Subarus on the road with more ground clearance than this Tacoma. It’s just one disappointment after another these days from Toyota
