??? Best Toplaner in the KR Challenger league (won MVP) and was on DK's Challenger team last year that was STOMPING their competition. @@watermage25 Him not being on an LCK team at the start of Spring surprised a lot of people so definitely far from a nobody.

Feel like they could of kept mithy if he was willing to be assistant coach alongside reapered. They need more staff more than they need a different coach
they need more coaches, not just a new head coach. they had their fucking team manager on stage posing as a coach
I think... mithy was too easy on them/too much their friend. Reapered will be good again because he won't take jojo's sh!t, he will make fun of him for not having a brain until he develops one... and maybe blaber will find his again when reapered is back too xD

From what they've shown us at C9, it sounds like there were issues amongst the players (Berserker and JoJo) during scrims. That probably carried over even if they want to play together. It seemed like even if Mithy wasn't the problem, it didn't sound like he was the solution a coach is supposed to be in those situations either.
Changes have to happen if your super roster is bombing.
I think the problem with Mithy was that he wasn't very good at getting the team focused, because from the sound of things they had long stretches of bad practice and not taking scrims seriously.
Reapered was always really good at that. So I'm hoping that this is the step they need to help the team focus up.
Wasnt Mithy also replaced by Repeared on 100T too?

In EU, they have “It’s Yamato’s fault” and in NA, we have “It’s Mithy’s fault”
in all fairness from the behind the scenes content it does seem like a complete lack of discipline and strictness in the practice environment is what caused c9’s issues. if jojo really isn’t taking scrims seriously and runs it down whenever he’s not winning early, it absolutely becomes mithy’s fault for not calling him on it, since it’s an obvious trend. there’s a reason the mean Korean coaches are very successful.

its not that pro players cant play all the champs, they can prolly play every champ at minimum D1-GM ish level.
The problem is that they have to play all the champs at Pro level, which is a HUGE gap above GM level, like the difference from GM to Silver
Reapered is a good drafter? What league is he watching?
He predicted all of T1’s drafts and win conditions during Worlds 2023.
Reapered does sometimes get ahead of himself and drafts comps that are beyond his player’s comfortability. But give him 5 T1 players and he can draft an Exodia comp.

Nah Mithy was a huge failure for c9. If the coach cant get the players to take scrims seriously then he has to go and is bad at his job. He also was a terrible drafter.
