Supposedly they're bringing in thanatos and reapered so yeah, fudge bye-bye for now, which is probably the kick in the ass he needs to bring himself back up to a decent level. He's shown that at his peak he CAN contend internationally. But he is nowhere near that form as of right now. Who knows if he can reach that peak again

weird how no one, not even c9 fans, can decide on which players are the problem. most ppl say fudge and someone else, but who? some say blaber, berserker, vulcan, jojo...the weaknesses of the team are not entirely clear. maybe mithy was the issue, but i kinda doubt it. they've thrown games with great drafts and won games they shouldn't have. inconsistency is their consistency
The biggest problem for the team besides the drafts, which were fucking horrendous, was the team doesn't have a leader. Sven was their shotcaller and voice, he kept the vibes fun (dude is entertaining af, kinda a sneaky or meteos or hai 2.0) and he worked from the start with zerker. Without that direction the team has no win cons and no shotcalling. Vulcan is a good support and you can see flashes of it but he's not a team leader, he responds to direction well, As does Jojo. Inspired directed everything for their EG roster and that's why it looked so much better, Jojo had clear directions and Vulcan worked well with inspired, who always has a certain direction of the game he wants to take. He's super vocal.
Even if they bring in thanatos, someone on the team needs to be the leader and step up to call the shots. Im surprised its not blaber, he is an established veteran with a decent enough mindset about how he wants to play the game, and i think enough players on the team respect him enough to listen to his calls. Much more so than vulcan at least.
@@mwbwyatt they had ls they booted him for acting like a leader. Leadership is considered toxicity in usa
@@ethosterros9430 the way i understand it they booted him because he wanted to change the way their systems operated, and Jack didn't like that he wanted to swap over a more....we will say "strenuous" lck-esque mindset/schedule. Would certainly give better results in the long run, but for more relaxed players who are used to the c9s more..player focused mental/physical wellbeing, would be a drastic change. It'd be like going from 40 hours a week at your job to suddenly doing 70+. 🙃
@@mwbwyatt I'm sure he would have gone half way but the way I heard it is he just wanted the players not wasting practice time with solo que shenanigans and actually learning to play the game and how to play a comp properly. Like look at blabber frontline karthas suiciding that was a fucking embarassment.
C9 systems are an embarassment they're a worthless team. They hadnt won a tournament until covid hit and theres been 0 competition for years. Now random teams are winning and c9 is classic trash. All I seen from ls was he expected players to take some pride in their game and have some standards for themselves and be willing to learn new things and practice champions and interactions. Is filthy for then to boot him when he was the only one who cared and these players arent worth a damn anyway. Overpaid lazy spoiled overgrown children. They should be grateful for their lifestyles when other people have to work real jobs they are whining playing league is too much work when it's their job. Its pathetic. I feel like fudge must have voted him out he seems like a very two faced person.
You can put player health at the top while still expecting them not to waste their practice time. Like yes u should be willing to do practice tool and scrim one comp ur getting paid to be good at the game. They wanna treat it like solo que while getting paid to be mid is so vile.

I mean, not really? Sure it’s an upgrade but when you watch C9 play toplane isn’t making or breaking the team. Sure, Fudge has had a really bad split and should be replaced but C9s main problem is they lack any direction or shot calling in the team.
@@shish9193 Considering the resources put into top lane only for it to go even, I'd say it can make a big difference. IF you're top lane is always hemorrhaging resources/pressure and fails to capitalize on it, that would be a big drag on the team. If you look at other top teams, give the top lane a carry champ and they can dominate. Give fudge counterpick and jungle pressure and he manages to maybe go even.( this situation means everyone else on the team gets less resources and can get counterpicked

I feel bad for Mithy and Fudge, like the olaf game where they 3 dove Rene, Blaber drops arggro early, fudge dies and the lane is just over. Jojo also played that so poorly. But they arent going to replace Blaber and C9's bot was decent. Is Jojo isnt on Ahri or Neeko and maybe Yone, cause teams caught on and banned them. What else could he have played.

I disagree with DL on the whole listening to what pro players want to play to win, I really think coaches should get the final say rather than the players. If APA said he will dominate on ziggs but ziggs DOES NOT work against the opponents draft nor help your draft...the issue isnt the draft but the player. A player is expected to be able to play different champions, not best but at the very least decent, if you are limited by your pool it is not a coaches fault.

I hate most of these farewell tweets. They are like all the same and generic like it was copy and pasted from a template. So boring and feels fake.
It’s the same as putting in two weeks at a place you hate. If you want a job in the same industry, you leave on good terms. Someone who puts out a tweet that is negative will probably get black listed from all teams. This should be a no brainer.
@@Leafkiller I ain't saying it is boring just because it isn't negative. You can say positive things a variety of ways. All these farewell tweet says literally the same thing. No personal flavor based on their unique experience. They all seem like they had the same experience and wrote a robotic message.

Blaber is the constant on every bad performance whether worlds or domestic he's one of the most overrated players who gets lifted up everytime they fail and it's never his fault. He plays jungle the most important role on the rift yet doesnt ever take any blame. He will always be crabber.
