That is the cutest little bag ever. Love your faux piping idea. I have several Shamballa patterns, but I don't have this 1.

This looks so fun! There is always something special in your material choices, they speak to me. 😄Beautiful!
Thank you! 😊
Wow that looks great I am part way through sewing this one my first Shamballa pattern but it definitely won’t be the last. Love you videos. Cheers from Down under
You can do it!
Great tutorial. Love having the old intro back. Your dad's cheeky smile is lovely.
Hope you don't mind me asking, what stitch length do you use for construction/topstitching. I am just venturing into the world of bonded thread.
Thank you! On my machine , basting and topstitch big around 5-5.5, construction around 4-4.5 😊
Love y o ur babies, also love your bag .
I need to make this one..Gail
That’s a gorgeous bag. I just bought the pattern and hope I can make it on my domestic machine.
You can do it!
I'm going to have to cut this out ASAP. I've had the pattern way too long. The leopard print reminds me of the 80's when we wore spandex in that print. Fun times.
The bag is super cute. I love watching your videos. I don't love having a panic attack thinking something is wrong with my tv every time you speed up your videos and the sound cuts out. If you could please find a way to add sound or something at these moments it would be so much better. Thanks
❤
It's awesome. Thanks a lot for your fantastic tutorial
You are welcome!
This bag makes me happy. It’s just so cheerful😊 love your tutorials! Btw- do you use piping cord in your piping, or just fold your vinyl?
Thank you! I just fold!
I’m going to try it! It does look classy!
Siah, Will you also be doing the Macadamia by Shamballa someday?
Maybe!!
Love this, what machine are you using??
It’s a Kingmax GC 0302
Hi Siah and All. I need advice on selecting a new sewing machine. I am wanting to make bags as a new sewing hobby. I currently have a Juki HDZ DX 7 and am indecisive on a semi industrial and industrial machine. Any advice to assist me in making a decision on type of machine? I am not new to sewing. TY
If you are going to get more into the vinyl and heavier side of Bagmaking, industrial with a walking foot is the way to go and pretty much the same price as a domestic. You need the right tools for the job 😊
would you suggest this bag for a new bag maker but experienced sewer? I have a domestic machine but its old and pretty heavy duty so I have been able to work with most all fabrics so far.
Yes I think you should be able to tackle it!!
Can this be made with All cotton ? Thank you
Yes you can!
