Might I suggest using a multi tool to remove the pins for that dropdoor next time you come accross this issue? You could actually keep it for later projects.

I like it, but I would’ve loved it if you had made it into an Art Deco bar w Gold accents instead of grey. Overall, it’s beautiful, just not my style.
It’s dark green to match a color in the wallpaper. Just looks gray on camera.

I've been watching your videos for a while and think your furniture is always best when you have free reign. I have to say, even though your work is impeccable, I'm not a fan of how this turned out. This piece was so unique, and even though it was held together by a few nails and a prayer, I think you would have turned into something very different if you'd found a different piece for a coffee bar for your client.
I honesty would have just restored it if it weren’t for my client. Nothing crazy. I appreciate the feedback!

Super creative and fun. The wallpaper is a bit much for me but as long as the client likes it, its all good. I assume you put on a durable topcoat at some point given liquids would be involved? Did you just cover the wood or the wallpaper as well?
Oh good! Question! I just realized I forgot to cover that. I did put a top coat on everything. Wax on the wood and poly on the paper

I thought u could’ve added some gold lines to the front to make the Artdeco features stand out a bit more! Did u add some sort of finish over it? The gel stain maybe has a built in top coat, but I just thought it needed a touch more sheen to it…just a thought 🤔🤔🤔
