Farming beef and leather with styles. 2 butcher villagers are included so you could trade raw beef for emeralds. High details on interior decoration and the auto cow farm is well hidden inside the house.
Improved version of the auto cow farm:
1. Vines added which reduce cow dying from entity cramming (Java Edition).
2. Fences on 2 sides with a chain in middle prevent baby cow stuck with the adults.
3. More space so the cows are spread into 2 groups which is easier to feed.

Java Issue
Butchers don't restock because they can't work with smoker 1 block off ground. Move the smokers down so they can work and restock.

Bedrock doesn’t have powdered snow :( any solution?!
@@brookemclendon581 There is powder snow on Bedrock. But you can use water if you can't find any.

@@brookemclendon581 You may have already found a solution to this by now, but just in case: When it starts raining head into a biome where it’s snowing with a cauldron. Place it on the ground and wait for it to fill up with the snow, then use a bucket to scoop it out, and that’s how you get it the bucket of powdered snow!

This build has a flaw. If you build it in taiga biome, baby foxes get into the hole at the top and fall down and will stare at you inside the shop 🤣
Now my brain is buzzing, trying to come up with little farms + the villager to trade the goods to, all in one little build. Omg a whole village like that would be amazing.
Like:
sugarcane + librarian or cartographer
Stone generator + stonemason
Sheep + shepherd
Wood + Fletcher
Fish + fisherman
Imagine changing an entire Minecraft village with all these builds. Each build has a purpose and is functional. I would love to live in that village!

I just discovered you on my feed and have been binge watching your tutorials for the past two hours. FINALLY there’s some functioning farms that are also super cute, I’ve been avoiding so many good farms because they would’ve ruined the aesthetic or I’d have had to dig a huge cave to build them underground. These fit beautifully into a village and you can easily adapt them for different biomes by simply switching out the block palette. I’m gonna try and add this in my 1.20 cherry village - thank you so much for the inspiration/tutorial! 🌸
Also, if you’re up for it, I’d love to see a whole range of farms with added shops. They’re so cute *and* practical. You get a follow for sure and I’m excited to see what else you come up with, friend!

I’m currently playing on a world with a friend of mine, and in my last base.. I basically took my starter house and dug under it and just made every farm I wanted under ground and made them ugly as heck…
But they were functional…
I learned a lot about how to make them work…. But in this world I want to keep everything above ground and make structures for each of my farms.
A separate building for cows.🐄
One for pigs 🐷
One for chickens 🐓
One for rabbits 🐇
And have butchers in each to buy their meats and a crop farm attached with farmer villagers inside auto farming and collecting the crops near by the animal shelter.
Giving me access to my farmer trades. And butcher trades.
Also putting a leather worker somewhere in the mix to buy the leathers and rabbit pelts.
I’m not zombifying and curing the villagers to reduce their costs. I want functional areas to farm and trade all the resources to all the villagers.
So this type of build is exactly the inspiration I’m desperately in need of.

awesome build as usual! i think it would be cool to see all sorts of block palates if you continue to make these farms in the future. not saying i dont love the spruce/deepslate combo, but i would love to see how you build in different styles.
Hmm...I thought about this. Since some people build more than 1 of my farms and they like to have matching block palette.
Maybe I could add a short section at the end of the video demonstrating different wood types and block palettes.

I built this farm before worked perfectly great vid and easy to follow... one thing i noticed this time is when i swapped out the dirt for the chains all my cows fell threw and are now all stuck in the bottom... so manually taking them up in groups... must be over 80 cows crammed in here its like a lag fest

I love the idea of having the villager in same building. I'd like to see you do that more often. Would be neat to build a village with traders and farms in the same building.

So as we have this cow farm / butcher shop and also the chicken farm, we were thinking, that we could have the butchers in the butcher shop buying raw meat (raw chicken and raw beef). It worked like a charm at the beginning, but then they won't restock. Is there a solution to fix the butchers not restocking? Some research showed, that the issue is mainly no beds for the villagers.
I was thinking about adding beds and also tried it, but that's not that easy without destroying the beautiful design of yours.
Fixed the issue. If someone else has the same issue, that the butchers not restocking: place the smokers on the same level as the butchers are standing. I just added 2 more smokers below the existing ones to keep the design.

It also works for sheep and pig. For the pig, add a slab above the bottom hopper so the adult pig is high enough to be cooked by the lava.

how do the cows fall down? i made the farm on bedrock but they stay above the chains i don’t understand how the lava is supposed to hit them

@14:05 In Bedrock 1.20.60, the vines spread to the ceiling too and they make the cow to get stuck into the block above them, preventing breeding because they no more float in water. So, I would recommend to not use them and live with them cramped.

I love this design. but for the visuals, why use the jungle wood? that particular trap door doesn't fit in my mind. too stand out and different in color and palate.
For me, jungle trapdoor looks great with mud bricks.
Left villager not taking butcher occupation, what to do?
1.25mins in, I can't seem to place the observer down in the same direction (it faces down) just not the same orientation, no matter what side I place it down in. Does it matter?
Just make sure the "face" of the observer is at the bottom side. The orientation doesn't matter and you can't control it.

Can i already proceed the build when i do not have all 48 adults yet? Or do i have to leave the temp. dirt and wait with going on.
You can proceed and keep the dirt below them. Otherwise the baby will now stay with the adult.

what do i need to change? the cows die in the water after some seconds. that makes feeding really hard.. and because of the chains, i am not able to get more cows. (using spigot bukkit server with minecraft java edition)
Actually it's better to use hanging sign instead of chain.
Check this simpler version and you maybe able to change something to make it works better.

Why is it build with wooden fences? Mine burns down with everything else that is made of wood 🙈
Was going great until the dispensers kept dispensing the lava over and over and the fences caught fire and killed all my cows... 😅
For some reason the cows aren't burning with the lava. I've gone over it 30 times and all is correct. Any ideas? Thank you so much for the video!

so this design has a problem; that many cows colliding will cause a lot of lag, which would become quickly apparent on servers. is it possible to fit a ladder into the place where the cows are to prevent collision?
Use less cows. As long as you have more than 2 per side it will work, just slower.

I have vines on top but I don't know if it's the same as ladder. The cows are standing on a chain so the vines only works when the water dispenser is activated.
Also, for each hole, the adult cows are standing still in 2 groups. Does that also cause a lot of collision lag?
@@aJackMinecraftcertain blocks like vines and ladders disable collision detection (also the hanging/climbing nether vine things). without that, any mobs sharing the same space will start colliding and the game tries to calculate their trajectory as they move away from each other. multiply this by 20 and you can see how it would cause significant lag. you won't notice this necessarily in a single player world unless you've built a lot of other stuff as well, but it adds up quickly.
i'm not sure how to adjust this (i haven't loaded it up yet myself) but if there is a way, i'll see if i can figure it out.
@@Mekhami if hanging vines like those from the nether prevent collision, could you not just plant a few crimson vines right above the cow holes before you drop them in? The water will likely ruin the base of the vine, however.....

Yeah it could work. But you need to add a trapdoor on the hopper below so the pig could be burnt by the lava.

Can u make a gold farm for bedrock aesthetic?
I feeling nervous about the gold farm since nether farm is painful to make haha.
For whatever reason I can only breed 2 cows per slot at once. It's like all the breeder cows are stuck inside of each other and I can't figure out a solution.
That's why it needs the water dispenser to breed. To make them jumping up and down so you can feed more than 2 cows.
Pls make some for the pigs and sheeps
from pigs, u get Cooked Porkchop so if u want that I would highly recommend making a Hoglin farm instead (only if u are on Java) as u get Leather additionally
from Sheep, only good thing u get is Wool for which u can make a wool farm instead

Actually this one also works with pig and sheep. For the pig, you need to add a slab above the bottom hopper so the adult pig is high enough to be cooked by lava.

I just learnt that the villager in Java can't work with job site at 1 block higher.
Move down the 2 smokers and that should fix it.

It is BSL Shader with custom setting. Check Stobbles' Ultimate BSL Shader Setting 2023 for details. I didn't follow his water setting.

Yeah it does. HOWEVER, I just discovered that animals don't swim up on Bedrock 4:18. You have to breed the cows outside the farm and wait for them to become adult. Then you can lure them into the farm. *facepalm*
And you have to avoid using job site block as decoration.
