This one is made for my Bedrock friends! I should have tested the Bedrock mechanics before I made the Java tutorial. My Java version turns out working just fine in Bedrock except the redstone part and the fly chicken part.
Chicken Farm with a fox increase the production greatly. Since the fox is carrying a looting 3 sword, the chicken it kills drop extra meat and feathers. With fire aspect 1-2, chicken drop cooked meat instead of the raw meat! If you want raw meat, just don't put fire aspect on the sword. It is the best auto chicken farm you can find!

There was an update that cause fox stop picking up items. I saw someone reported this to Mojang and now we wait for another update.

Mine will pick up chicken and random items but not the swords 😅
I’ve come up with a solution that works but needs some tweaking. Place another dispenser on top of the one shooting eggs and using redstone, place moss blocks above and for overhang, and make a path to a lever on the right side of the baby chicken glass cage. Flicking it twice will dispense a bucket of powdered snow and flicking it twice again will retract the powdered snow. This only takes 3 redstone dust and a lever to work. For lava to auto make cooked chicken, replace the wood near the lava with any non-flammable block and it works perfectly.
And to prevent any chickens escaping the flight training, add another three layers down of double-sided trapdoors and they don’t have enough time or push to alter their flight path before they reach the bottom. I’ve tested it many times now in survival and it works. I took the principle of your cow farm and applied it here, so both aren’t much of a hassle.

This really works. On my farm, the chickens are revolutionary. After a while, they started to fly out of the coop as they went down through the barn. So I had to surround the descent with glass. Thanks!🐣🐤🐔🐓

It looks wonderful that I had to build it in my village. Only the fox not wanted to pick up the sword (Bedrock version). I used lava instead of a fox. It works great and looks beautiful. Thank you
Having this issue myself on Bedrock.. how did you use the lava instead? By simply placing lava where the fox would have been? Don't want the structure to catch fire.
@@joewarren4858 The mechanics are a little different from this one. I looked for it on CZcams, options with lava, e.g. Madzify has such a video. So, where there is lava, I put glass (or you can put something else so it doesn't burn) and I made the entire building from this film.
@@mazda7775 So does that mean you replaced the moss blocks with glass too? Just want to make sure I do it properly and the building doesn't burst into flames lol
My wild fox wouldn't pick up the sword either, even after giving him cooked chicken to drop what was in his mouth :/
@@joewarren4858 I added glass on the sides and half a slab of stone where the chickens stand. Moss will not burn above the lava, you can do it as in the video.

It's a new 1.20 Bedrock Version, my first time playing Bedrock Version , too. I only Played Java for the last decade. So I'm Glad your Tutorials would work in Bedrock.

Switched the fox out for powdered snow for now, it's a lower drop rate than a looting sword, but it works at least until the patch comes.

One of the coolest spins on a basic chicken and egg farm.
Love it.
My fox seems to be a bit buggy, he only kills like 5-10 chickens then goes afk and seems to focus on the chickens behind him that he can’t reach.
This causes the chickens to lay eggs into the cooked chicken chest and the dispenser eventually just starts ejecting hatchlings out of the farm, but for some reason the chicks just huddle around the farm.
Is the fox inside the minecart? The first test I did was without the minecart and had the same situation as yours. This is why I said it didnt work on Bedrock in the Java video...
I am not sure what is the cause here but lemme share some of my test result to you. I hope this could help you to find out why.

@@aJackMinecraft it is not in the cart. Totally missed that instruction if it was supposed to stay, I just instinctively removed it.
@@indigobuffalo Ohh..I do believe the minecart is important and it helps the fox to attack grown chicken more frequently. Try that and lemme know if it works again!
@@aJackMinecraft I think actually I won’t fix it. I have gotten accustomed to the chicks hanging around everywhere in little swarms and the fox is still killing chickens. I have 6 full stacks of chicken now, granted some is from me killing chickens and putting the feathers/cooked chicken in the chest.
Also, one of the waterfall chickens landed on the spruce stairs at the midway point and is stuck, but he kinda reminds me of a rooster on a barn overlooking the farm.
@@indigobuffalo To fix it you have to take the fox out and put it back in inside the minecart. 😮💨
I think a chicken falling on top of the roof is a feature by accident. I like seeing one of them hanging there haha.

I hate building pretty buildings because you usually need to understand what looks good or not and adjust based on the farm, and i just don't have the patience. I usually just follow silentwhisperer then leave it at that hahaha. But you are inspiring me to start making these kinds of farms as well. Pretty but functional builds

I love this build. I made this in my world to upgrade my existing chicken farm. I used lava instead of a fox for cooked chickennn. I love your chanel. ☺♥

I'm going to 2nd that request for how you did it. Also, do you lose the other items and only get the "fried" chicken like that?
Basically change some of the wood into stone. Then place a bucket of lava at where the fox sit. That's it.

😁😁Yes @aJackminecraft is right. You have to change the fox with lava. I don't have fire spread on so I didn't need to change the blocks of the build I wanted to keep the aesthetics because I just love it.
You have to put a slab in front of the dispenser. Chicks are half a block tall so they fit between the slab and the lava above, lava will not flow into the slab. When it dispenses chicken it will stay on that slab and when they grow they will burn in the lava above them. Then have a hopper minecart or a hopper below the slab for collection. hope this helps😁

hmm i have a problem at the part with the fox.
i captured a wild fox but it seems he will not get rid of the feather that stucks in his maulth he wont accept eating the chicken raw or cooked i tested both...
and i leaved him for few hours real time and it seems he will not take the chicken i am completely lost on this part !
is there a chance to do it without the damn fox ?

My tutorials do not require any mod. I make both Java and Bedrock Tutorial and this video is for Bedrock. If you are playing on Java, remember to check the other chick farm video.
We can't craft leaves block but we can harvest them. Find the trees / grow your trees and then use a shear or a hoe with Silk Touch to get leaves block.

Interesting idea... It could work but I havent tested it. However, using ocelots has no benefit so I would rather put lava there.

I've recently gotten back into minecraft afer a few years and although bedrock unfortunately these designs are fascinating to watch and incorporate them into my world.
Odd thought?:
Do you believe that it would possibly be possible to merge most or if not all builds into a smol township like say find a village in a scenic location but build it up with most of these farms intertwined within said town? Which will result in it looking lived in.
I did something similar in my creative world. I put all my builds in an area. It is starting to look like a village.
The only problem I can see with it is the iron farm. Freaking things need to be 100 blocks from anything. It's what I truly hate about console edition.😢

One of the most amusing builds I've ever seen because you have a pet fox and you give it a cool sword. Do you have to replace the sword once in a while? Does mending work if the fox uses it?
It does not consume the durability. The sword stays there forever!
how long does the sword last until it needs to be repaired? and, what's the best way to do that without loosing the fox?

They recently updated foxes last November so they can't pick up tools or weapons anymore, you can still use a fox but it can't carry anything useful for this farm

I dont understand. I have tried everything from the beginning 5times and the fox kills at first but then stops at about 10 chicken. Fox is staring at the chicken but it doesnt kill. Im playing on mcpe does that mean the farm doesnt work? Also please make me understand the logic of this farm😢
