      @@dv_1991 the only thing you can really do is make sure your rotator cuff is working optimally and your posture/back strength is adequate so that your shoulders aren't hunched forward. If you get everything balanced and they still click then its either not a big deal or you've got some labral tear that doesnt allow your shoulder to stay stabilized, which can also be a pretty minor thing as well. Every baseball pitcher will have some degree of labral tearing for example.

    I'm guessing the 2nd part was stretching the rotator cuff. Have to try.
    I have a partial shoulder separation from 40yr ago and sometimes I couldn't lift a weight above the shoulder so I'll hang by my arms and it's fixed. I can't sleep on that shoulder either otherwise that ligament will fail again.

    Yeah it worked but for small span of time. After like 30 mins again same clicking sound. Is it like particular muscle group warm up and after cool down same sound? I have noticed the same when doing shoulder gym workout. Starting it will click once you do one set of front raises click sound go away. Some science is there..

    • @Joegengstah
      @Joegengstah Před měsícem

      Sounds like a classic example of weak rotator cuff muscles to me. Its the main reason why this exercise would work reducing clicking, by activating "disconnected" muscles that stabilize your ball in socket during lifts.
      Many lifters warm up with rotator cuff exercises then do their other lifting exercises for this reason. As you gain strength and control with these small muscles, it will likely help reduce clicking for longer periods at a time

    Hi there- Is it possible that these exercises may not work? I'm 38 and have always been fit (good mobility and muscle mass around the shoulders) but I've been clicking pretty much my entire life. There's no pain or underlying pathologies but that'd be great to get rid of that annoying sound (especially that shoulders are right next to our ears :) ). Does anyone have good recommendations on other exercises or strategies for persistent clicking shoulders? Thanks!

    I have a recurring subluxation issue will this exercise help with that? My shoulder is very clicking and painful, how frequently should the exercise be done for it to take effect?
