Francis Sombato is a member of the Church in Ghana, Africa. He gives a glimpse of what it is like to be a member of the Church there. They usually walk and hour and a half to church on Sundays unless they have enough money to get a cab that week.
There is so much growth in Ghana and you can see why with individuals like Francis.
You can help my fundraiser for Francis' Fish Farm by donating here -

Come on people. We can do better. We have the chance to give real humanitarian aid by contributing to this fund. Such a worthy cause.

My son-in-law served in Nigeria as well. He joined the church in his home country of Uganda. He used the perpetual education fund to get his degree in computer science. He is a great addition to our family here in Idaho. I love to contribute to causes like this.

Great interview, Greg. Francis is clearly a great example of a Saint, living in Ghana. I joined The Church at age 33 in 1985 in San Diego, Calif, and since I was too old to serve a mission then, it's been a hope and desire of mine to serve a senior's mission in West Africa one day. The Saints in West Africa are great examples of what Saints should be like.

How wonderful for the church to donate to this worthy cause. How so? We--I--ARE the CHURCH. Thanks, Greg, for bringing this brother to our attention.

I love all your content Greg and I really loved this inspirational deviation from the types of interviews you usually do. It was refreshing and sincere and I love that you gave us a way to contribute in any amount to support this brother in the Gospel. I have no doubt he will accomplish great things using fish as a small, simple means. Thank you for diverting our gaze outside of the first world problem of the religion of academia-which is obviously still an issue-but I liked this interview as a breather between your usual episodes.

Make him an apostle! They don’t put up with (nor do they have time for) wokeness over there.
PS- I refuse to pay GoFundMe a 17% tip or I would have added to the $125 already donated by the one person who’s donated. Is there another way where it all goes 100% ONLY to the fish farm project?

Greg!! You are the light that guides others through darkness, the hand that lifts those who have fallen, and the voice that empowers those in need. In doing so, you not only inspire, but also embody the true essence of kindness and compassion by helping others! Love this young man’s testimony of faith! I’d be happy to help!

I have heard good things about Give Send Go. Is it not reputable? After Give Send Go stole money that was donated to truckers in Canada, and other nonsense, I can't support them. Is venmo also not a good option?

It is very difficult to share money between nations, almost impossible. Go fund me is about the only way to do it. If go fund me flags the fund raiser they have to return the donations to the donors, they cannot keep it, or redirect it.
Pray about it and if you feel you should donate to this cause it will be safe for you to do so

Wonderful to hear how God is showering His love on all His children. I ONLY WISH THE CHURCH WOULD CHANGE IT’s DOCTRINE THAT IT WAS THE CHURCH LEADERS HAD TO PLEAD WITH GOD TO CHANGE THE PRIESTHOOD BAN AGAINST BLACKS. I SEEVED A MISSION 71-73 when the priesthood ban was in full force. It was awful to project unworthiness into others simply based on race:( when the church changed this doctrine they just changed from projecting unworthiness of an entire race to an unworthy God by portraying themselves as being more compassionate with more love for God’s children than God Himself. The God the church believes in is a racist God and not a good God if church leaders had to plead with Him to change this doctrine. This was so depressing to be told this is the God the church of my youth wanted me to embrace. Shame on the church! A God like this is not one we can have faith in because He is not a good God. I pray that church leaders will accept responsibility for this horrendous doctrine and not blame it on God this doctrine of belief unless it is changed will put the church in the category of those who will plead with God “HAVE WE NOT DONE MANY GOOD AND MIGHTY WORKS IN YOUR NAME….and He will tell them “YOU NEVER KNEW ME”😢
