Medical terms we say digit for fingers。and it is numbered from 1 to 5 starting from thumb to pinky. So that way we don't get confused or have a miscommunication of which finger to bandage or amputate
"Digits" is actually the technical term, not the medical term.
Third finger is middle if you're a pianist, ring if you're a guitarist.

Hearing all of this, living on a remote island in the northern area of Scotland that literally doesn't have any fast food; if I want McDonald's it's a 14hr ferry just to get there 😅

I always use "Buddy" for names on orders and my friend would always use "Guy" to reference the South Park Canadians.
I always use 'superman' when i go to places that ask of my name, because no one ever gets that wrong.
one time someone put clark kent and i was really pleased they maintained the facade. and another time i was at chick fil a and the person behind me in line ordered as batman by complete coincidence, that was fun too.
My favourite thing about the podcast is little things I didn't know will be mentioned in passing. Like the fact Gus was ok Um Actually and I'd completely missed. Content leading to content. Love it!

Where k grew up we had hardies, McDonald's, subway, and a pizza hut. But we also had several local places that were not chains and that most people preferred over the others.
Also, I grew up in a single wide trailer on a farm where my bedroom was a storage closet.

Okay, but here's the thing, if the "middle finger" is called the "middle Finger", then your thumbs count as fingers.
But if you're not counting the thumb then there's two in the middle. Or the middle finger is the one in the middle of your hand, not the middle of five fingers.

I wanted to say, as a classroom teacher who analyzes handwriting and people's phonics understanding:
Your name wasn't (very) misspelled: you saw Gust2bo, yes? The 2 was probably terrible handwriting, but still a lowercase 'a.' Some people try to write the lowercase a in the curvy way that it is typed. And where they'd put a 'b' instead of a 'v,' it's very common for people whose first language is Spanish to use 'v' and 'b' interchangeably, because they make such a similar sound when spoken.
That still doesn't mean you should've been able to interpret it, that's not what you do for a living. But I hoped I could be helpful by offering a possible explanation for why your name would be written so strangely.

As a kid I wasn't a fan of McDonald's because I hated onions (love them now funny enough lol) and their kid's meal cheese burger has diced onions that are impossible to remove because they get stuck in the cheese! Even if my mom had asked for no onions they would still add it sometimes. The local mall also had A&W and Burger King and I would much rather have that as a kid 😂 much easier to remove the onion if I needed to. Still don't really like McDonald's tbh, it tastes the most synthetic to me 😅

Idk how these hr plus long things aren’t being pushed to the algorithm more especially when an audience of 9.2 million followers can be achieved it just seems lazy from a company perspective you’re losing out advertising revenue to the audience who would sit and watch through ads on here.
…probably because they promote their own video platform but hey who knows. It’s just weird that with 9.2 million subs the content isn’t pushed more jussssst because of the length of the art.. I’ve been listening for a decade basically on iPhone Apple podcast app but I switched to video on CZcams asap because the platform is slightly better so yeah just odd to me

I studied computer science and know how search engines work, typing in "caveman", just using keywords, is in most cases the most efficient way of searching, typing full sentences is a waste of time. Neraly all search algorithms ignore filler words and only look for keywords, so "does Nicki Minaj own MYX Fusions" becomes " Nicki Minaj own MYX Fusions"

I don't think I've ever agreed with Jon on anything before, but he's right that BK sucks. Their burgers taste like warm, but partially frozen vomit.

I assume that the IL report is given using medical terminology, considering that the IL recommendation is made by a doctor. Anatomically (at least this is what I learned as a bio major during undergrad), the thumb is not a finger, because “fingers” are classified as having two joints and three phalanges, whereas the thumb has one joint and two phalanges. It is considered a “digit”, but not a “finger”.
To Barbara‘a point about your middle finger always being the “third finger”, that holds true only if you A) count the thumb as a finger (which I don’t think is anatomically correct) or B) begin counting from the pinky finger, which doesn’t make sense. Therefore, starting from the first (pointer) finger and counting towards the pinky, the “third finger” should be the ring finger.
