i have to disagree with Kayla's statement that handguns are only for murdering humans, they are a very necessary defense tool in some areas where animals that can potentially kill you hunt, like dealing with wildcats or bears, sometimes they can get very close very quickly and long guns are very hard to use in situations like that and it can be the difference in life and death for humans, there are countless records of people being charged by predators and a handgun saved their life
Kayla: “You can criticize something without wanting it gone.” Oh-Gus was quite plain he wanted the USPS gone at some point. I kid… kinda… Gus was especially mad at the time.
I love Hyperion; I don't see how it could be a movie. It would have to be a series. I also love Dune and I feel like that should have been a series to do it justice.
A 1 season series where each episode is a Pilgrims story could definitely work. But we need the crew behind Westworld to do it, they know how to do a fast-paced world building.
bruhhh the USPS... I had some handmade merch mailed to me, she missed a number on the street address so it pointed to down the road between two companies, like for example im at 2000 Road, it got mailed to 200 Road, but the companies are at 150 and 250.. I get stuff delivered almost weekly. So the usps courier saw my name, saw an address that doesnt exist but similar to mine, and DELIVERED it to one of those companies INSTEAD of just returning it (or seeing that it was to me, but maybe it was someone new idk). The company apparently kept it and "lost" it, instead of seeing the address wasnt their's and no one at the company with my name and doing a return to sender... other time i mix up 2 letters in the roadname and it GETS TO the post office but they were like "This road doesnt exist but is a mispelled version of road a mile away, weird coincidence, oh well Return To Sender! " 🙄
Please make an RTAA about either Kayla hearing a woman talking about her late father’s pornography collection or Blaine’s experience at The Lumineers concert.
I sympathize with Kayla. I moved and got mail forwarding to my new place. Then two cards my friend sent me never arrived. Then I get like five different stories from the USPS on why. One person said that anything without my middle initial wasn't forwarded, which is b/s because I got plenty of stuff without my initial on it. When I asked them to track what hadn't arrived, they said that they couldn't because I hadn't used registered mail. I was like, why would I? How was I supposed to know you were going to lose it?
How often does the usps fuck you over? It's been a topic since the beginning. Next is have you always complained about Apple products or he's actually going to tell you why he's here.
Wow imagine being a company that sells licensed merchandise and clothing, and then your staff come on a podcast and brag about buying illegal copies of merchandise and clothing.
A Libertarian, to boil it way down, is someone who believes people should “pull their own weight”, or “pull themselves up by their own bootstraps”. They typically believe strongly that Capitalism will police itself, organizations shouldn’t be regulated, and governments should be as small as possible without providing any social programs. They’re the “taxation is theft” crew.
It’s a lot more nuanced than that, to be fair. They believe in the free market and are anti-aggression, very little trust in current government structures. Typically support guns rights.
Libertarians are people who generally believe in the non-aggression principle. The NAP means that you can use violence in self defense but you are not allowed to instigate violence. Thanks to this belief, Libertarians tend to be small government focused, since government tends to maintain the right to instigate violence against its people. Libertarians can be divided into "Left" and "Right", who believe in a socialist or free market economy respectively.
Libertarians are delusional bums who want to benefit from the roads and services that taxes provide without paying any taxes themselves because they've convinced themselves that it's theft.
oh man i wish i was a soundcloud rapper, tha'd be lit, I did the dumb thing and got a marketing degree instead :/ waste of money tbh (this is not sarcasm college is a scam)
I love the complete lack of knowledge of anything libertarian and then this smug air of superiority that comes with not knowing anything about it at all.
@@TheHumanTarget84 Libertarians generally believe in what is known as the non-aggression principle. In that, you are allowed to use violence in self defense, but you are not allowed to instigate an act of violence. The Libertarian issue with government is that they often instigate violence against others. The drug war is a great example, since the use of drugs in and of itself does not constitute violence, but sending in a paramilitary unit to kick down someone's door for using drugs absolutely is violence. Libertarians are generally aligned with Republicans on economic issues since they (supposedly) want small government in that field. However, they are more aligned with Democrats when it comes to foreign policy and social issues not related to the welfare state, for much the same reasons. Not all Libertarians want to use drugs (legality is a different issues), and religion is not a fundamental issue.
Oh you’ll learn eventually that pure free market capitalism is incapable of taking care of everyone, and that government can and should step in to make sure everyone is looked after

It's also a random chance thing, like a coin landing on it's side. 1 in a million. Him focusing on the shoe and the table cloth being eye level, is what saved him.
