    It works on my 850 square foot apartment. It's -10 outside and I did not believe this would work
    I am shocked how good this heater is. My whole place is evenly heated. It's not just hot area blowing out in one area.
    What a good way to get heat!!!!! It's excellent

    I appreciate you reviewing this heater and showing exactly how to operate it. I have one that my deceased brother had and I was hesitant to use it as I had no instructions. It's set to celcius so now I'll be able to change it. It's really good knowing that they work so well. Thank you so much!

    Watching this just shy of 4 years when you posted it. GREAT job explaining it all. I inherited my daughters when she moved without instructions . I was wondering why I set on 80 but was saying 68. Thought it was me lol.. 💜

    If you hold the timer it has an option that goes from 0 to either-9 or +9 of you hit the up and down buttons which changes the room temperature by 9 not understanding that feature

    I've have the same or very similar heater. I've had it for years. Still works great as a stand alone heater in the bedroom.

    I have exact same model, put this unit our 13'x 13' bedroom. I live and Canada, even when temps go down below -15C or about 3F, this unit has no problem keeping the bedroom warm at 20C or 70F, great unit!

    Thank you for your video. This was the last unit at Lowe's and it was missing the remote, instruction manual and no castors. Fortunately I got a $100 unit for $40. It does heat up the room so well! I appreciate your help because I had no clue how to use it.

    I got one similar, and it heats a bedroom extremely well. It was about 23 degrees outside, and the bedroom stayed a comfortable 73 degrees. The same heater in 650 sq ft, with a vaulted ceiling in a two story house, it took room temperature from about 52 degrees inside up to 58 degrees (outside temp 32). So I would say it could handle 1000 or close to it in a well insulated home as long as it has a standard 8’ ceiling. Two story with vaulted ceilings, 650 sqft not so much. I can say I still really like it. I use my central heat during the day for a little while and this at night with the central heater off and my electric bill was cut in less than half! I have a heat pump so it cost a ton to run. The one I have has a night mode which dims the light. The remote is super convenient. My toddler stays away but he stumbles into it and i don’t have to worry about him getting burns since it’s cool to the touch. I recommend it for sure.

    No frikkin WAY will it heat a 1,000sf room to temp!
    I'm in Northern N.H... We get down to -50. Last year, we were the coldest place on earth. Mars is as cold...
    This unit would be fine, on a night like tonight- Nov 25th- 32 degrees out. Ive been running the wood stove ALL day... So its warm upstairs. 62. I put this thing on for 20 min, and now its 66...and holding.
    Cabinet is nice finish. Mine is a 9 hr system. In the back is a filter...swivels, same model.
    Again, I attempted to heat a 600 sf x 12' ceilings....NOPE. I froze.

    Does anyone know if its possible to change the temperature from Fahrenheit to Celsius without the remote?

  • @dragonext2001
    @dragonext2001 Před 4 lety +1

    How do you change it to farenheit? My father bought this heater but texted me about it not heating up the room and being stuck at 16° C.
    I got there to make it work but it stayed on Celsius and wont switch to Farenheit. I put it at the highest C it offered but it just blinked and ended back at 16°. Any advice would be appreciated
