Thanks for the help. I just found one of these on the curb and was amazed to see it actually powered on when I got it home, but I couldn't figure out how to actually get it to play anything. Now I just need to see if I can get this working with Reason 5. It recognizes that the A49 is present, it just won't let me control anything with it.

Thank you for this! I wonder if you can help me solve an issue. I have Maschine Studio (not proficient yet), and just bought a NI Komplete Kontrol A61 to accompany it. Plugged it up, buttons all work fine, but I can’t get the keys to play. I know it’s got to be a simple setting within Maschine/software. I’ve tried everything I can think of within midi settings etc and cannot get keys to play for any of the A-H banks. The A61 and Maschine boxes are checked in the preferences. I think it’s a midi setting in each channel I’ve somehow gotten wrong. Any suggestions?

Great work! I just got an A 49 and a Zedi10fx usb mixer both connected to my cpu but Ican't get any sound from the usb mixer, when I choose the Asio drivers that suposed work with the mixer the sound of the A49 cuts off and when choose the windows driver or speaker it returns, I dont know how to make the A49 goes trough the Zedi10fx, I was thinking that if both where plug in the cpu usb ports will intertwain together but nothing. I need to use the mixer to record the A49 with other live instruments and sound in a little PA can anybody help???!!!!
Great video, question, Are you able to browse through sounds of other VST’s or only Kontakt?
You can browser through Kontakt, or the Komplete Kontrol. Some synths are pre-mapped to the Komplete Kontrol software using NKS.
It will browse all your libraries

How we transpose semi tones in a series ?
I have a komplete kontrol M32 connected to my windows computer, I use ableton and have the komplete kontrol app, everything seems to work fine BUT!!! in the komplete kontrol app I'm unable to select my controller as a midi input device, the driver is installed, the controller appears in the list as a DAW and as midi, but nothing happens when I check it, can only check my daw

I have been able to hear the different sounds before, but I’m only able to hear the piano keyboard now. I cannot hear any other sounds, even though the boards on the keyboard show that sounds are happening. It is not coming out. Not sure what is going on.

My a49 is able to make sound in FL Studios, but when I record nothing I've watched almost every setup video to see what I've done wrong but everything matches, Help

You may need to update the firmware.

Once you have Komplete Access installed you can select where you want the content to be installed. If you have windows it is best to use some kind of ASIO driver. If you do not have an audio interface look into ASIO4ALL.

Thank you so much. You mentioned we should be careful where to install the instruments. Now, my problem is like this: Whenever I click on a software instrument such as the Gentleman, it says "loading issue. Could not load the Plug-In"... do you have any idea what I did wrong? Did I locate the downloads wrong? I just chose the default settings everywhere put I can't play back anything now. Thank you if you nswer this

Looking seriously at the S49. My question is can this software run in the mpc x in stand alone mode? 🤔 I know there are third party programs that will import the sound libraries.

No. You would need to use the MPC software to run Komplete Kontrol software. You can use the keyboard as a standard MIDI keyboard with MPC X standalone. But not the Komplete Kontrol software. Yeah, there is software to covert Maschine kits to MPC kits.
When I go to the preferences, Edit, I don't know how to set the midi mode, it doesn't indicate any. Why ? I will keep assigning the knobs with one of my programs, thanks

It is not logging in my native access. I just created and confirmed my new account from browser, but access is not logging in.
When you buy a Native Instrument controller it comes with Ableton Live how do you get it ?

Native Instruments sends an email with a link to get your license. You need to click the link in the email mail and make sure you are signed into your account on the website. Then click the link that says request license on NI website.

Another question Matthews do you know how to install the expansion pack Builder to create your own expansion packs
What I mean is, everything installed and I can highlight sounds and get sample audition, but my A25 KK doesn’t trigger any sounds
Try goin into the preferences and go to midi and check the right midi input to get the keys to work.

I've selected 'Komplete Audio 6' as my driver but under "Input' I am unable to select my A49 MIDI as the 'Device'.
Its just a blank check box that wont allow me to select it and move on to playing.
Any help is greatly appreciated!

Bro I was trying to register my m32 in the native access but it shows there is no products with this serial number. But I registerd in website successfully what should I do
Maybe try logging out and then back into Native Access with your user ID. I have a m32 as well and it came with some software. If that doesn't work try contacting NI support and they should be able to help you out. You can also check your NI login to see what you have registered as well.
@@MatthewStratton bro I installed all products under not installed tab.. And it's working perfectly with Daw. But still I can't register in the native access. When I am checking the website I can see m32 under registerd products.. But there is some products under not registerd products which I didn't see in the native access. Is this due to the registration issue?

Hey Matthew, I already have a Maschine MK3 and a Native Instruments account. I was looking at getting a used A49 from GC. I'm guessing in would be pretty much plug and play? Would there be any problems with registering or not registering a preowned unit? Thanks again for your great tutorials (your MPC one tutorials were particular helpful!!!)

LATEST VERSION OF PROTOOLS WON'T WORK SO EASILY. If your instruments still don't load and sync with Komplete Kontrol. Put a specific plug in into unused plug in folder. BEFORE YOU BRING IT BACK TO THE STORE. THIS WILL SAVE YOU A LOT OF TIME. IT WORKS! duc.avid.com/showthread.php?t=404705

Well, it does come with software, and there is the free Komplete software too. Can't really expect to get $600 software plus a keyboard for $210. Hope you have fun with it.
