@@madebypinto7273 It'll be under $50 next year when we're in full recession. You must not understand what the market looked like in 2019 pre-pandemic. We're going lower than those values again and 18,000+ PSA 10's will make that card next to worthless. There's zero rarity.

That 151 lot had damaged boxes in it. 3 other lots sold from Probstein around 1325-1350 that were all undamaged. I looked at this lot, and didn’t bid due to the damage to a few of the boxes.
Though they might have been stock photos.

Those things are going to plummet. Japan's in recession and those booster boxes MSRP is $38. We'll see them cross below $60 in a couple months. Still a solid 10-year investment at those values, but $100 is way overpriced. US is going into recession now as well.

I got 3 van goh. Sold one raw for 135 solf one psa 9 for 150 and kept a psa 10 got them all for free so might as well hold on yo the 10

This is great news regarding VG Pika. I’ve always said that card was going to crash because they gave them away and made it possible for everyone to order them. I think 100$-150$ will probably be the floor though. It’s still a special card to me but it’s sad that all the people who fomod into that card probably lost hundreds or thousands depending on how many copies they got… great vid 😎🔥

Cant understand how the jpn evolutions zard is worth a fraction of the price of the english one. This was when japanese print runs were much more limited
Japanese cards are easier to grade. The evolutions English print runs weren’t know to have the best quality in their production.

so much trash out there why sell my gold for only 3 or 5 times a pilachu price when there's only... 1000x more copies then the cards I have out there graded lol

I guess it depends on who you ask. To me, low pop is a card with less than 50 PSA 10 copies.

I don't typically cover 1st Ed Zards unless they're 10's. Only because there are so many 8s and 9s that come through. It would quickly become tedious to include them in the recap.

Of course Pokémon is just operating to appeal to the general public… but a lot of people here are looking for a get rich quick opportunity. Be smart and invest your money in precious metals like gold, palladium, rhodium etc. Only buy cards for your personal enjoyment… not investment. Modern is going to tank sometime soon. Japanese 151 will be $60 a box again soon. Japan in recession, rest of the world going into the worst recession in all of world history. People are unloading everything they own, hence why prices are coming down. Felt Hat Pikachu in a PSA 10 will be $50 and stay there for 15 years. When unemployment rockets in the US later this year all our stuff will be worth half or less unfortunately, but it's out of necessity at this point. Largest housing market bubble and most overleveraged middle class in all of world history.
