It’s refreshing to see some Mystery Boxes not only being a decent value, but also being thoughtfully put together like the first one was!
i was thinking the same thing
Always felt like small mystery products sellers just want to move leftover products at a low-regular price instead of the companies which really try to milk us out.
Wow
That's exactly what the Japanese card store mystery packs are all about. Sure you'll get a SR or SAR sometimes, but the house always wins. My best oripa pull was a meijin charizard card out of a vintage pack of 3 random cards(priced at 1000 yen or $7)
yeah, it's better to do this instead selling these as single. These graded cards are not easy to sell
I'm 36 and my kids are getting into pokemon now. Its been fun diving back into, and sharing a hobby I enjoyed as a kid with my own kids.
Same man, I'm 37. I remember having all these high value cards when I was a kid and just destroyed them playing with them (didn't know better) now my 6yr old daughter is getting into Pokemon and she loves opening packs and collecting her favorites (usually the cute pink Pokemon lol)
That 1st mystery box was really good imo
first mystery pack was actually pretty dope.
they all say psa so it made it sus
@@Ukelectricalaniwhat do you even mean ??
@@Ukelectricalanipsa is the grading company the seller used, how is it sus?
@@jmjksfilter there was a cgc card with it too tho
It was fine, don’t know what you mean
The first product was actually quite good
The first box was actually worth the money
@@mogdocexactly, almost makes it seem like they know it’s rev who buys it
Agreed, I wonder what seller it was. don't know if he mentioned it. (i totally missed the first few seconds of the video and saw you can see who the sellers are)
That is the very old CGC label. In those days they also had a Perfect 10 that isTODAYS pristine 10. Todays pristine 10 is a perfect card but the pristine 10 back in the day (blue label) was not 50/50 centering or a perfect card. It’s basically todays gem mint 10, which would also be a gem mint 10 in PSA as well. Just wanted to clarify. The CGC pristine 10s they hand out now (gold labels) sell for more than regular PSA 10s as well. The gold labels are 🔥🔥 as well! Just wanted to drop some knowledge by cause I know you don’t use CGC often! Keep up the excellent work rev! You the man and the OG! Love the content and God bless you and the family! Much love!
I can assure you today’s Pristine 10 is NOT old label’s Perfect 10. Pristine 10 is… well… Pristine 10… You can outright relabel the old Pristine 10 into the new Pristine 10. They didnt change the grading scale, only the label… The Perfect 10 are gone now, so Pristine10 is their new ceiling, which can come with a tiny bit of imperfection as long as it’s still 9.5-10-10-10.
And Gem Mint 10 is still the old CGC Gem Mint 9.5… Again, they didnt change the grading scale, only the label.. So you can treat Gem Mint 10 exactly as the old CGC GM9.5 or BGS Gem Mint 9.5. They came from the same scale, and apparently came quite close in Market Price too.
This response couldn’t be farther from the truth but I get most people watch too much shinyvert and hate CGC and don’t know anything about them. The new pristine 10s very much took
Over the same grading parameters as the old perfect 10s. There is NO allowance for imperfections in pristine 10s. They require perfect cards basically, the same parameters that were required by the PERFECT 10s of old. Also, the gem mint 10 has nothing to do with a 9.5. They have a 9.5 now that is a mint+ which has NOTHING to do with a gem mint 10. A gem mint 10 is just that, the same thing as a gem mint 10 from PSA. In fact, PSA is MORE lenient with their gem mint 10s than CGC is. So basically everything you mentioned above is a falsehood and is bad information for the public who doesn’t know any better. CGC pristine 10s now are highly regarded and are way harder to get than any 10 from PSA. I enjoy both companies equally and have no beef with either but at least give CGC the credit they deserve. If you don’t know just don’t reply.
@@kristophertodd6471 Roflmao I cant believe someone who are so badly misinformed would call me as such.
I grade with CGC, hundreds of them by now. I KNOW what I’m talking about. It’s already clear from the start how they are relabeling old 9.5 into new GM10 and old Pristine10 into New Pristine10. That’s already the clearest indicator on how the grading scale for both grades stays the same. Pristine 10 is like the Old Pristine 10, much harder to get than PSA10 for sure, but is nowhere near Perfect10s or BGS Black Label rarity.
Out of 100 submissions I sent them, about 35% of them came back as Pristine10… That’s 35% rate to get Pristine. Whereas BGS Black Label and the old Perfect10s have around 5% or even less out of 100 you sent them depending on what you sent. Of course this means Pristine still a very low rate compared to PSA10s which is about 80-90% rate of getting them. But those Pristines are not Perfect10 or BGS BLs, stop misinforming people for it.
And about the new 9.5 Mint+. That’s a new scale for cards which are too good to be called a Mint9 (which usually could have a glaring imperfections) but still fall short to be called Gem Mint… And It’s certainly not the old CGC Gem Mint 9.5 nor it is BGS Gem Mint 9.5 scale.
@@RisduduMonke Please ignore all 3 of these people. All of this couldn’t be farther from the truth. I am a professional expert. I know what I’m talking about it.
that first mystery pack was actually pretty clean. nice to see someone who isn’t just scamming people
That first box was legit
Love that heracross card
I recently started collecting pokemon cards and watching your vids and seeing the cards from older sets is amazing
"Neo Discovery" he says with full confidence on the Heracross :P
1:10 that is what she said indeed

Found the 🌽 addict
@@Flizz0 on bro
🤣
I LOVE THAT CHARIZARD
I'd be happy with the first mystery box it shows the seller actually cared
Its awesome to see older graded cards again
That first box was definitely the best one
your brave buying mystery merchandise. pokemons mad exspensive. just on informed buys alone im spending thousands.
thanks for entertaining me though aha
Mystery pack always adds that extra "gambling" portion into opening products!
I do agree, getting near mint cards from a mystery box is pretty rare. I myself havent bought any mystery boxes, but my little brother loves to trade cards. And everytime he makes a trade, he trades a near mint for a roughly played card xD, gotta love it
Ebay can be the imposter sometimes
👇Under 10 minutes gang
Me
It's not always a reason to be proud ;)
Me
yes sir
Shut up😂😂😂😂
I love this series! It's fun to see what kinds stuff these mystery boxes have
Def fun opening mystery stuff
seems like the first guy understands what a mystery pack should be like
Yep
It should be 110 altogether for that second box
Yeah he did the math wrong, I noticed that too
That Lucario promo card looks sick I might just have to pick one up myself
That first was actually really good, the description was little bit off :D
the first one was definitely a step above the rest! so cool to see
2:28 I really like this card.
Always nice seeing quality and mint cards in mystery boxes
The first one felt like it was someone who cared about not giving us junk and actually some cool stuff
I always enjoy a solid video buying stuff from random sellers. It’s always great to see if you are going to get good stuff or get absolutely taken to the cleaners.
Thought the vintage slab would've been some PSA 8 Dugtrio, pleasantly surprised with the holo Gyarados
I wish all mystery boxes were like the first one!
There's definitely a Love Hate for mystery packs🤪
Graded cards have taken a huuuge hit in Japan recently. You can pick up so many PSA 10 SAR's for less than 40 bucks
Always nice when at least a couple of the mystery items don't end up being totally worthless.
That first box really caught me off guard was totally expecting a scam
Those mystery items are like 99% scams, it's very hard to find someone who does it because they enjoy the hobby and want to make a fun product for other people to enjoy... I've only found like 1 for the sports cards I've opened and I'm sticking with them from now on for my mystery products. The first one was solid though, great value even if none of them were crazy hits. Might try it one of these time...
Graded mystery packs are a bigger gamble than opening packs themselves
eBay can be pretty sketchy😅
The first box had lots of mint conditions and pretty okay cards.
Mystery packs are bit or miss for me, that Blastoise was a good one though
The first mystery box was actually great! Props to that seller.
love slabs as a way to set the collections
Left me feeling like mystery packs snd grading cards are Ultra Rare scams. Ouch. First one worked out
That first mystery bag was def a good mystery pack condition wise. Value was id say $180-$185
That first mystery pack was pretty dope tbh
The first mystery pack was pretty cool. It seemed really well put together. The others were definitely geared towards getting rid of bulk...
The first one was really good but man those at the end were rough haha
That first box slapped
Yeet! You must be a delulu sussy bra
I think bottom-top doesnt count as centering issue
Wow that first seller really sent some cool cards!
Illustration rares are so cool! That first box was too cool !
fun to see mystery boxes not be a total wash
It's always nice to see a mystery box made by random people that actually turns out pretty good!
The sketchy vids are definitely fun and help make people sure of their sellers
The first one is decent with the singles and even a base gary slab and pristine slab.
First box was way over expectations!
I love that gloom card from the first mystery pack. So pretty.
the first one blew my mind
almost (near mint)
The first one was fun...I'd like to see more of theirs lol.
First box surprised me
Some times this mistery boxes are actually good
Wow, even the four packs at the end were total duds.
First mystery pack was thoughtfully packed.
That first product acc hit!
Wow that last one was rough. Those zoo packs are pure evil
That’s old label Cgc pristine and they are not more lenient. It’s also worth more than a psa 10
Anyone know if rev has changed the odds of the pokerev 4.0 packs? Or if the first ones sold were the good ones? My last 6 have all been greenies now, my previous ones were actually solid😂
That Pristine 10 was concerning lol
would love to see the collections these cards came from
The first one actually surprised
The first box was pretty good
That first mystery pack did pretty well!
that 1st box was really good imo
That first mystery was solid
Dang that last one
The first package was pretty solid
That first one was pretty legit, definitely a huge gamble on these random mystery packs
That first bundle was really good
WOW, that charizard G max was great but everything else was a bust
That first graded pack was pretty cool! Some good variety of vintage and modern! Nice!
gotta love those random surprise openings
Dang the last one 😂
I want to buy the Charmander do you have a listing for sales on degraded cards you get in the mystery openings that you don’t want
Great videos! Thanks for that last product, was about to try one…NOPE! Lol
The first box was straight 🔥
That first package was wild 😂😂
Enjoyed the content! Thank you for sharing the love of collecting!
That first box was actually quiete good!
The first one was actually pretty good even tho it looked like a scam.
I love the appeal of mystery purchasing but the risk seems too high sometimes.
the first slab with charizard holy
Man I love mystery packs. Find some of the weirdest crap sometimes
You have a lot of faith in some of these products but I’m so thankful that someone does it to show the reality of a lot of these sketchy products!
First mystery pack seller had some 🔥
Mystery products are always fun to open!
The 1st listing was the best
